Use Battlin as the event control panel: install the current app, create an organizer account, choose BGMI and a competition format, set slots, schedule, prize pool and any entry fee, then publish the event. You can share one registration link, manage rosters and check-ins, distribute room details, notify players, verify results and release rewards from a phone. Battlin’s listing and launch materials describe this as an end-to-end mobile workflow, but the exact controls, eligibility checks and payout timing can change as the service develops.
What hosting a BGMI tournament on Battlin includes
Battlin is a mobile-first tournament platform with BGMI support. Its organizer workflow brings event creation, registration, scheduling, room management, participant notifications, result verification and reward disbursement into one event page rather than making you coordinate separate forms, chat groups and spreadsheets.
The platform’s official site lists four relevant competition structures: single-elimination, double-elimination, round-robin and battle-royale-points brackets. The best choice depends on your squad count, available match time and whether placement points, eliminations or direct head-to-head wins determine the winner.

Before you create the event
Confirm the organizer account and device
Install the current Battlin app listing and create an organizer account. The clearest documented hosting path is an Android phone through Google Play. The listing does not specify a required handset model, processor, RAM or storage capacity, so do not advertise a particular device as mandatory. Use a stable connection, keep the phone charged and allow notifications so room changes and disputes are not missed.
Battlin says organizers are reviewed before they can run full tournaments. Complete any identity, contact or organizer verification requested in the app before announcing a date. Approval may be a prerequisite for publishing or for using the full set of event controls.
Decide the event policy before opening registration
Write the rules first, then reproduce them on the Battlin event page. At minimum, decide:
- Who may enter, including age, country or residency and identity requirements.
- Whether entries are solo players, fixed squads or substitutes, and the maximum roster size.
- The format, number of rounds and number of matches per stage.
- Scoring for placement, eliminations and any bonus points.
- Tie-breakers and the evidence needed to prove a result.
- Check-in opening and closing times, no-show treatment and replacement rules.
- Prohibited conduct, cheating penalties, stream-sniping rules and communication requirements.
- How players report a problem, the dispute deadline and who makes the final ruling.
- Prize amounts, eligibility conditions, tax or identity checks and the intended payout method.
Publishing these details before players pay or reserve a slot prevents the most common disputes: a roster being rejected, a tie being interpreted differently, or a winner expecting a reward that had conditions attached.
Choose a BGMI format that fits your event
| Format | How it works | Use it when | Main administration concern |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single-elimination | A loss removes a player or squad from the bracket. | You need a short, easy-to-follow event and can accept that one bad match ends a run. | Scheduling enough simultaneous rooms and communicating advancement clearly. |
| Double-elimination | A participant normally leaves after a second bracket loss. | You want a recovery path for an early mistake while keeping a bracket structure. | Losers-bracket timing and making sure every team receives the correct next-room details. |
| Round-robin | Each participant or group plays the scheduled opponents, with standings based on your published scoring. | You want more games per entry and a standings-based finish. | A larger match count, consistent room assignments and an explicit tie-break sequence. |
| Battle-royale points | Multiple BGMI matches award points for placement and other published statistics such as eliminations. | You are running a multi-match lobby where cumulative performance matters more than one result. | Capturing the correct evidence after every match and applying one scoring sheet consistently. |
For a small creator or college event, single-elimination is usually the simplest operational plan. A larger open community event may benefit from battle-royale points, but only if you have enough staff or a reliable process to check every screenshot and resolve missing evidence.

Step-by-step: create and publish the Battlin tournament
- Install the current app and sign in. Open the current Battlin listing, install it on your phone and create or sign in to the organizer account. Complete organizer review or verification if prompted. Do not publish a public date until you know the account can create a full event.
- Start a new tournament. Choose the create-event option in the organizer area and select BGMI as the game. Check that the game title and region shown on the draft event match your intended audience.
- Select the competition format. Pick single-elimination, double-elimination, round-robin or battle-royale-points. Set the number of stages or matches your chosen format requires. If the app asks for a bracket size, choose one that matches your available squads rather than filling unused slots with fictional teams.
- Enter the event basics. Add a precise event name, time zone, start date, registration deadline, slot count and contact or support instructions. Include whether the time is for check-in, the first lobby or a briefing; ambiguous start times cause avoidable no-shows.
- Configure money. Enter the prize pool and, if you are charging one, the entry fee. State whether the prize pool is guaranteed, funded by entries, or subject to a minimum number of paid slots. Keep the displayed reward conditions identical to the rules you publish elsewhere.
- Define roster and check-in settings. Set the permitted squad size, substitute policy, check-in window and no-show treatment. If the app provides a roster field, require the in-game names or IDs you need before the deadline so you are not rebuilding teams in a live lobby.
- Publish the rules and reporting process. Add scoring, tie-breakers, prohibited conduct, evidence requirements, dispute deadlines and reward eligibility to the event page. Explain exactly what a screenshot must show and where a player reports a missing or incorrect result.
- Preview and publish. Check the title, date, time zone, slots, format, fee, prize pool and rules as a player would see them. Publish only after those values agree; changing a reward or scoring rule after registration opens undermines trust.
Battlin’s organizer page describes a workflow in which one event link carries registration, schedules, room information, updates and results. Use that link as the canonical source instead of maintaining a second set of times or rules in an unmoderated chat.
Open registration and control the roster
Share one accurate registration link
Post the Battlin event link in the communities that will actually play: a creator audience, college group, gaming café or organization channel. Include the registration deadline, check-in requirement, region and a short eligibility summary in the announcement so players do not discover a disqualifying condition after joining.

- Check that every squad has the required number of players and permitted substitutes.
- Compare submitted names or IDs with the roster policy and flag duplicates.
- Watch the slot count and maintain a clearly labelled waitlist if the event is full.
- Reject or request corrections before the deadline rather than during a live match.
- Send a reminder containing the check-in window, first-match time and evidence rules.
The app listing says Battlin supports slotting, schedules, room details and participant updates in one flow. Use the platform’s status fields to distinguish registered, checked-in, waitlisted and disqualified participants. Do not treat a registration as a guaranteed starting slot unless your published rules say it is.
Prepare rooms, schedules and player communications
Once the roster is stable, create a match schedule that includes check-in, room opening, result submission and dispute cut-off times. For multi-round events, leave enough time to verify the previous lobby before assigning the next one. A schedule that starts the next round before standings are confirmed forces players to act on provisional information.
Publish room details through the event workflow and notify the affected participants. Give players a single location for the room ID, password or other access information; avoid scattering credentials across public posts. If room details must be sent shortly before play, state when the message will arrive and what a player should do if it does not.

- How a crash, disconnect, incorrect room setting or suspected cheating is reported.

Run matches and verify results
Collect evidence while the lobby is fresh
After each BGMI match, require the evidence specified in the event rules. Battlin describes screenshot proofs, result disputes and verified leaderboards as organizer controls. A useful proof should show enough context to identify the match, participating team or player and the relevant placement or statistics. Tell players whether one result screen is sufficient or whether multiple screens are required for your scoring system.
Check standings before advancing
- Compare the submitted evidence with the roster and match number.
- Apply the same placement and elimination scoring to every participant.
- Record missing, unreadable or conflicting evidence as a specific issue rather than silently guessing.
- Open the platform’s dispute or report process when a participant challenges a result.
- Publish the verified standings and only then issue the next-round room details.
For battle-royale-points events, keep a running table outside your memory: match number, team, placement points, elimination points, penalties and cumulative total. If Battlin provides an automated leaderboard, still compare unusual totals against the submitted proof before marking them final.
Handle disputes consistently
Use the deadline and evidence standard written on the event page. Ask for the missing item once, apply penalties that were announced in advance and document the decision in the platform’s reporting workflow. Do not change the scoring formula for one team because a lobby is close. If a result cannot be verified, mark it according to the published fallback rule and tell affected players how the decision was reached.
Confirm rewards and close the tournament
Do not advertise a payout as unconditional until you have checked the current event configuration. Battlin says prize money can be sent to winners’ UPI after results are confirmed, while the exact timing and eligibility depend on the event setup. Confirm the final standings, any identity or residency checks and the winner’s payout details before initiating the reward workflow.

Is a Battlin community tournament an official BGMI event?
Not automatically. Hosting a community competition on Battlin does not by itself grant KRAFTON sanction or official BGMI status. Use the current BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA Official Competition Rules as the primary reference when you are planning an event that claims to be sanctioned. Label an event as official only when it meets the applicable rules and appears in an official KRAFTON communication.
For an ordinary community tournament, use accurate wording such as “community BGMI tournament hosted on Battlin.” Do not use KRAFTON branding or imply endorsement merely because BGMI is available as a game option. If your event has a sponsor, college, café or creator identity, make that relationship clear without suggesting that it is an official league.

| Venue | Online community or creator audience. | College fest, gaming café or organization event with on-site check-in and network contingencies. |
Common problems and practical fixes
The event cannot be published
Check whether organizer review is incomplete, a required field is missing, the slot count conflicts with the selected format or the app needs an update. Save the draft, correct one issue at a time and avoid announcing a public link until another account can view the published page.

Players register but do not appear in the room
Separate registration from check-in in your rules. Send a reminder before check-in closes, publish the no-show policy and use the platform’s roster status to fill a slot from the waitlist only when the rules permit it.

A player says the room details are wrong or missing
Verify the match number and notification recipient, then resend the current room information through the event workflow. If a room was configured incorrectly, pause the lobby, document the error and apply the announced rescheduling or replay rule rather than improvising a private exception.
Results conflict
Compare the submitted screenshot with the match and roster, ask for the evidence required by the event page and open the dispute process. Keep provisional standings separate from verified standings so a later correction does not silently alter a completed round.
A payout is not available immediately
Check whether results are still pending confirmation, whether the winner must satisfy an identity or residency condition and whether the event configuration specifies a transfer window. Battlin’s public materials describe UPI rewards after confirmation but do not establish one universal payout time for every event.

What Battlin does—and what the organizer still owns
Battlin can centralize the workflow: BGMI event setup, registration, slotting, schedules, room information, updates, result evidence, verified leaderboards and rewards. It does not remove the organizer’s responsibility to choose a fair format, publish complete rules, moderate conduct, resolve disputes consistently or describe the event’s status accurately.
The most reliable launch is therefore a small, clearly documented event: verify the organizer account, select a format that matches the number of squads, open registration with transparent conditions, check every result before advancing and release rewards only after the final standings are confirmed. Recheck the current app listing and event settings on the day you publish because availability and platform policies may change.
