To make a QR code for the right Google review form, open the correct Business Profile on a computer, select Read reviews → Get more reviews, and save the QR code shown there. Confirm the business and location first, then scan the saved code before printing or sharing it.
Generate the review QR code from the correct Business Profile
- On a computer, sign in to the Google Account that manages the business’s Google Business Profile.
- Open the profile for the business or location whose reviews you want to collect. Check the displayed name and location before continuing; each profile’s review flow is tied to the selected business.
- Select Read reviews, then Get more reviews.
- Choose the QR code shown in that flow. Right-click it and save the image to your computer. If you want a digital option instead, copy the review link from the same flow. Google’s instructions are in Google Business Profile Help.
- Scan the saved image with a phone and check that it opens the intended review flow. This is a practical check before distribution, not a formal testing step specified by Google.
Google currently says review QR codes can be generated only in a computer browser, not on mobile devices.
Choose between a QR code and a review link

Google suggests sharing the link or code in a thank-you email, on a receipt, after a chat interaction, or in the store. It does not publish a measured comparison of which format gets more reviews.
Share it in a way that follows Google’s review rules
Ask customers for an honest review based on a genuine experience. Google requires reviewers to sign in to a Google Account, though that account can use a non-Gmail email address. A QR code does not bypass the sign-in requirement; see Google’s instructions for sharing a review link or QR code and its Maps user-contributed content policy.

Do not offer free or discounted goods or services in exchange for a review, a changed review, or removal of a negative review. Google classifies incentives for reviews as fake engagement and prohibits them.
Print and display the saved code
You can place the saved QR image on a receipt or a simple in-store sign. A printed sign holder is optional; Google’s built-in review link and QR code are the core setup, and Google does not endorse a particular holder, printer, or paid QR generator. Scan the final printed version with a phone before putting it out, since the printed result—not just the saved image—is what customers will use.
