Counter Hush by denying predictable groupings, breaking line of sight against steerable projectiles, tracking her Flow anchor, and saving a fast punish for the moment she commits. Her reported kit can pull players together, blind around corners, change her approach angle and lift targets out of control. Those effects are most dangerous when defenders stand shoulder-to-shoulder or react to the first projectile path instead of the final one.
This is a provisional guide for the agent described in the October 2026 reveal coverage. Dot Esports reports an October 27, 2026 release date, but the cited reveal did not establish final ranges, cooldowns, damage values, ultimate cost, unlock time or every map interaction. Recheck Riot’s live agent page and patch notes after release before treating any value as final. The tactics below are based on the reported mechanics and are deliberately separated from unconfirmed numbers.

What Hush is reported to do
Hush is presented as a Duelist built around telekinetic control and unusual movement rather than a simple damage boost. Riot Games Game Designer Nicholas Smith is quoted by THESPIKE.GG saying, ‘Hush reimagines the traditional Duelist role by shifting the focus from raw power to tactical manipulation.’ That description fits the currently reported abilities: she can influence positioning, redirect utility, create a movement route and temporarily remove players’ ability to move.

| Ability | Reported effect | Primary danger | First counter |
|---|---|---|---|
| Telekinesis (passive) | Can pick up dropped weapons and the Spike, and interact with switches from increased range. The exact distance is not confirmed. | Hush may recover important objects or activate a switch without standing where opponents expect. | Control dropped weapons and the Spike; watch the likely interaction position rather than assuming she must stand directly beside the object. |
| Displacement (E) | A projectile can be thrown or prepared, then redirected toward the crosshair. It pulls nearby players toward its center; a collision with a surface or another player can concuss them. Dot Esports reports that the signature resets every two kills. | Grouped players can be dragged together and concussed, creating an easy entry or multi-kill opportunity. | Use offset positions, preserve an escape lane and keep watching the projectile after launch because its apparent first direction is not necessarily its final one. |
| Flashbulb (Q) | A steerable flash detonates on impact or after a delay and blinds players looking toward it. | A flash can arrive from an unexpected angle or be held briefly before detonation. | Break line of sight or turn away as soon as the flash path is called; do not stare at the projectile waiting to confirm its route. |
| Flow (C) | Hush creates an anchor, briefly levitates if airborne, then propels toward the anchor after a short delay. | She can create an aerial entry, re-peek from a new timing or suddenly cross space that opponents thought was safe. | Identify likely anchors, hold the arrival area with a teammate and avoid chasing her into an unscouted second angle. |
| Suspension (X) | A steerable wave lifts caught players. THESPIKE.GG says suspended targets are immobile and unable to dodge; Dot Esports also reports the levitation effect. | A caught player cannot reposition while Hush or her team shoots the elevated target. | Spread far enough that one wave cannot catch the whole group, and leave the projected path or break line of sight when the ultimate is available. |

The counterplay principles that matter in every round
Stop giving Displacement a multi-player target
Displacement’s reported pull and collision concussion become more valuable when several teammates occupy the same small area. Hold offset angles instead of stacking in one doorway, narrow corridor or plant corner. Leave a route toward cover so a player who sees the projectile can disengage without running through a teammate. This is a tactical inference from the reported pull and concussion mechanics, not a Riot-published counter guide.
Assume every Hush projectile can change its destination
Flashbulb and Displacement are reported as steerable. A throw that initially travels away from you may still be redirected toward your crosshair. Call the projectile’s current direction and keep moving options until it detonates. If you have hard cover, use it; if you do not, turn from Flashbulb rather than trying to judge the final angle while looking at it.
Separate information from commitment
Hush’s strongest reported effects require a path, an anchor or a detonation decision. Do not spend every defensive resource on the first sign of her presence. Instead, preserve one fast burst of damage, a denial tool or a crossfire for the moment she commits to the entry. The final interaction rules and interruption windows are not confirmed, so treat this as timing advice rather than a claim that a particular ability always cancels hers.
Use precise calls
“Hush” is not enough information for a teammate who must decide whether to swing, hide or rotate. Call the projectile direction, the likely detonation side, the Flow anchor and the lane covered by Suspension. A short call such as “Displacement left, pulling to box” or “Flow anchor back site” gives allies a usable response without claiming certainty about an unconfirmed range.

How to counter Telekinesis
What is reported
The passive reportedly lets Hush pick up dropped weapons and the Spike and interact with switches from increased range. Dot Esports says the exact interaction distance was not confirmed. The report does not establish that she can retrieve objects through walls or from any arbitrary location, so do not assume either capability.
Protect the Spike and valuable weapons
When the Spike is down, assign one player to watch the object and another to watch the approach route instead of assuming Hush must expose herself beside it. If your team drops a rifle in a contested lane, decide whether recovering it is worth the risk; leaving it where Hush can influence the pickup may give her a safer weapon recovery than a normal duel would allow. Keep the Spike in a position that can be defended from cover when possible, and avoid casually tossing it into an open lane during a rotation.

On maps with interactive switches, treat the switch position and the space from which Hush could approach it as one defensive zone. The increased range is not quantified, so hold an angle that covers the interaction area and the nearest retreat route rather than standing on the switch itself. If the passive’s live range changes, this positioning remains useful because it denies the most obvious line to the objective without relying on a guessed distance.
How to counter Displacement (E)
Recognize the two-part threat
Displacement is reported to combine a pull with a possible concussion when the projectile collides with a surface or another player. The projectile can be thrown or prepared, then redirected toward the crosshair. That means the danger is not limited to the first flight path: Hush can wait for a better alignment and steer it late.
Defensive setup before the projectile appears
- Use staggered depths in a choke point, with enough lateral space that one pull cannot gather everyone.
- Keep at least one escape route open instead of sealing teammates into a dead-end corner.
- Place the second player where they can punish Hush if she steps forward to redirect or capitalize on the pull.
- Do not put the Spike carrier and the entire support group on the same tile when a fight is likely.
Response after launch
- Call the projectile’s current side and the space it appears to be targeting.
- Move toward cover or an escape lane without crossing through a teammate’s path.
- Do not assume the initial direction is safe; continue tracking it until it detonates or disappears.
- If a teammate is pulled, hold the likely follow-up angle instead of all turning to rescue the same player.
- After the effect ends, punish Hush if she has committed into the crossfire; do not chase through an unexplored angle.
Dot Esports reports that the signature resets every two kills. Because the exact timing and any additional conditions are not confirmed in the cited material, track the reported reset as a reason to respect a rapidly recurring threat, not as a precise timer.

How to counter Flashbulb (Q)
Why ordinary flash habits are unreliable
Flashbulb is reported to be steerable and to detonate either on impact or after a delay. It blinds players looking toward it. A defender who watches the first trajectory, waits for confirmation and then turns may still be facing the final detonation point.

Use line of sight first
Hard cover is the cleanest response: move behind a wall, box or other obstruction before the flash reaches its detonation. If cover is not available, turn away immediately and move toward a safer angle rather than trying to outguess the steering. Keep enough spacing that one flash does not remove an entire crossfire.
Fight the timing, not the projectile
Hush can use a delayed detonation to make a defender choose between staring at the projectile and giving up an angle. Decide in advance which piece of space you are willing to concede. Once the flash is called, preserve your life and your escape route first; re-peek only after the blind threat has passed. Do not claim a guaranteed dodge window until Riot publishes the live timing.
How to counter Flow (C)
Understand the movement sequence
The reported sequence is: Hush creates an anchor, briefly levitates if airborne, waits through a short delay, then propels toward the anchor. This can support an entry, a re-peek or a sudden reposition. The anchor is therefore information about where she wants to arrive, not proof that she is already there.
Clear and watch anchor locations
- When Hush is nearby, inspect common anchor positions before taking a wide duel.
- Have one player watch the arrival point while another watches the route Hush must use to create pressure.
- Keep a crossfire that covers the destination without placing both players in the same Suspension or Displacement path.
- If she disappears into movement, hold the anchor side and avoid chasing into a second angle that has not been cleared.
Exploit the commitment window
Flow creates a visible decision: Hush chooses an anchor and commits to a delayed propulsion. Save a rapid burst of damage or a coordinated swing for the arrival timing. The available evidence does not establish whether every defensive ability can interrupt Flow, so use general denial and crossfire principles rather than promising a specific cancel.

How to counter Suspension (X)
Why spacing is essential
Suspension is reported as a steerable wave that lifts caught players. THESPIKE.GG says suspended targets are immobile and unable to dodge. A wave that catches a tightly grouped defense can therefore remove movement from several players at once and expose them to follow-up fire.
Defend against the wave
- Before the ultimate is used, spread across separate pieces of cover rather than sharing one doorway.
- Keep a retreat lane that is not aligned with the most obvious wave approach.
- When the wave is called, break line of sight or leave its projected path if you can do so safely.
- If one teammate is caught, hold the attacker’s likely follow-up angle instead of stacking beside the suspended player.
- After the effect ends, regroup only when the next projectile and entry angle are accounted for.
Do not assume a caught player can dodge while suspended; the cited description specifically says suspended targets are immobile and unable to dodge. Exact duration, width and interruption behavior remain unconfirmed.

Defending a site hit
Start with offset positions and one clear retreat lane. The first call should identify the projectile or anchor, not merely Hush’s name. If Displacement threatens the choke, avoid adding bodies to the same space. If Flashbulb appears, turn or take cover. If Flow identifies an arrival point, let the crossfire cover that destination while a second defender watches the route behind it. Spend a high-value defensive resource when Hush commits, not when she is only showing presence.
Retaking a site
Do not funnel the entire retake through one doorway while Hush has Displacement or Suspension available. Enter from separated lanes where the map allows it, and assign one player to watch for a Flow anchor or sudden arrival. Keep the Spike carrier away from the most obvious pull center. If Flashbulb is steered into the retake path, use cover and delay rather than allowing the whole group to be blinded together.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteHolding after the Spike is planted
Use crossfires with enough distance to prevent one pull or wave from affecting both players. Keep the Spike in view from a defensible angle and watch for Telekinesis-assisted recovery if it is dropped. When Hush commits to an anchor or projectile, swing together from different depths; do not chase her through a blind corner where Flow can create a second angle.

Playing a man-advantage round
More players do not justify tighter stacking. Hush’s reported control effects make a disciplined spread more valuable than a crowded site hold. Trade from offset positions, call the exact lane of each projectile and force her to choose between utility and a direct duel.
What to communicate in voice chat
- Projectile: name Flashbulb or Displacement and give its current side or destination.
- Anchor: identify the Flow anchor and the angle covering its arrival.
- Ultimate: call the Suspension wave’s lane so teammates know which space to leave.
- Object: call when the Spike or a valuable weapon is exposed and which player is watching it.
- Commitment: announce when Hush has entered the delayed movement or detonation sequence so allies can punish together.
These calls are useful even when the live values change because they describe observable decisions rather than relying on an assumed range or cooldown.
What is still unknown and why it changes the matchup
The cited reveal coverage does not provide a complete official ability table. Exact projectile ranges, detonation timing, pull strength, concussion duration, Flashbulb blind duration, Flow delay, anchor restrictions, Suspension width and duration, cooldowns, damage values, ultimate-point cost and detailed map interactions are not established. There is also no defensible published win rate or pick rate to show whether Hush is over- or under-powered in live matches.
Recommended Free Tools
Those gaps matter when choosing a counter. A short-range projectile demands different spacing from a map-wide one; a destructible or interruptible anchor would create a different response from an anchor that cannot be touched; and a brief blind is easier to wait out than a long one. Until Riot publishes the final values, describe these as tactical priorities, not guaranteed counters.
How to update this guide after release
- Check Riot’s live Hush agent page and the patch notes associated with the release reported for October 27, 2026.
- Record the final range, duration, cooldown, damage and ultimate cost for each ability instead of relying on reveal descriptions.
- Verify whether Displacement’s every-two-kills reset is the complete rule and whether it has additional conditions.
- Test line-of-sight behavior for Flashbulb, the exact pull and collision rules for Displacement, the placement limits for Flow anchors and the dodge or interruption rules for Suspension.
- Replace provisional wording only where an official value or rule is published, and retain the spacing and crossfire advice that follows from the observable effects.
Until those checks are complete, the safest preparation is mechanical rather than numerical: spread out, use cover, track the final projectile direction, watch anchors and punish the commitment.
Bottom line
Hush is most dangerous when opponents let her turn one piece of utility into a group-control sequence. Deny that sequence by holding offset angles, preserving escape lanes, breaking line of sight against steerable projectiles, watching Flow anchors and refusing to chase into unknown space. Treat the reported kit as provisional until Riot’s live documentation confirms the final values and interactions.
