To copy a playlist to a different YouTube channel, create a new playlist while signed in to the destination channel, then add the source playlist’s videos to it. Saving or sharing the original only gives you access to that existing playlist; it does not create a destination-owned copy. You can reproduce the list using YouTube’s Data API, but private or otherwise inaccessible videos may not be available to add.
Choose the option that matches what you need

Recreate the playlist under the new channel
YouTube’s documented technical route uses the Data API: retrieve the source playlist’s items, create a playlist under the destination channel, and insert the items into it. YouTube’s documentation does not establish a one-click playlist-clone action in the standard interface.
1. Create a playlist on the destination channel
Sign in with the channel that should own the copy and create a new playlist. For a programmatic workflow, use the YouTube Data API playlist-creation method described in the playlist implementation guide. Record the new playlist ID; you will need it when adding videos.
2. Retrieve the source playlist’s video items
Use the API’s playlistItems.list method to retrieve the source playlist entries. The account making the request needs authorization and access to the playlist’s contents. The API returns playlist-item information, including position, which can help you check the sequence later. See the playlistItems.list reference.

3. Insert each video into the new playlist
For each accessible video, use playlistItems.insert with the destination playlist ID and the video resource ID. The request requires OAuth authorization for the destination channel. Review the playlistItems.insert reference for request details and possible errors, including inaccessible items and a playlist that has reached its maximum item count.
4. Verify the contents and order
Open the destination playlist and check that the expected videos appear in the intended order. Do not assume that reproducing the items also copies every source-playlist attribute. The API documents item positions; setting a particular position requires Manual ordering in the playlist settings. Adjust the playlist order as needed and confirm it afterward.

What happens to private or unavailable videos?
Copying a playlist does not grant permission to watch or add its videos. A private video may require an invitation from its owner, and viewers without access will not be able to play it. Likewise, an item the authorized account cannot access may fail when you try to retrieve or insert it. Check any missing entry’s visibility and access with the video owner; do not treat an inaccessible item as a successful copy. YouTube explains private-video access in its playlist sharing help.
If you only need to find or share the original
Save it to your Library
You can save a playlist to your Library to find it later. This keeps a shortcut to the source playlist; it does not create a second playlist owned by your destination channel. YouTube’s Save playlists help describes this behavior.

Share its URL
Copy and share the playlist URL if other people need to access the existing list. Sharing does not transfer ownership or duplicate the playlist, and private videos still require viewers to have permission. See YouTube’s playlist sharing instructions.
Do not move the whole channel just to copy a playlist
A channel transfer between Brand Accounts is a separate process and is unnecessary if all you want is a second playlist. YouTube documents transfers for eligible channels associated with the same Google Account; the process may require primary-owner status and opting out of channel permissions. Review the accounts carefully before proceeding: replacing a channel at the destination deletes that channel and its associated content, including playlists. Follow YouTube’s Brand Account channel-move instructions only if a channel-level move is genuinely your goal.

If someone else needs to help manage the existing channel, consider channel permissions rather than moving it. Permissions assign roles for channel management; they do not transfer ownership to another user. Details are in YouTube’s channel permissions help.
