Check the microphone model before choosing a connection
BONAOK connection options vary by model. The G50 manual describes FM transmission to the car radio; G20 manuals describe both FM and a wired AUX connection. These instructions are model-specific, so check the label on your microphone and the manual for your exact version before connecting it. The available G20 manual listings do not establish that every product variant uses the same instructions.
Connect a BONAOK G50 to the car with FM
- Park safely and turn on the microphone. Do not handle or adjust the phone or karaoke equipment while driving.
- Select FM on the microphone. Press its FM button and choose one of the frequencies listed in the BONAOK G50 manual: 87.5, 88.5, 89.5, or 90.5 MHz.
- Tune the car radio to the same frequency. The mic transmits to the radio; the radio and mic must match.
- Pair your phone to the microphone over Bluetooth and play music from the phone. This Bluetooth connection is phone-to-mic, separate from the mic-to-car FM connection.
- If the mic’s built-in speaker is also playing, long-press the volume key to turn it off, as the G50 manual recommends for car karaoke.
FM reception can vary with local radio traffic and vehicle conditions. If the selected frequency is occupied or sounds poor, try another frequency supported by the G50. Its manual does not identify which frequency will be clear in a particular location.
Connect a BONAOK G20 by FM or AUX
FM connection
The G20 manuals describe choosing an unused FM frequency on the microphone and tuning the car radio to match. This is the wireless route. The instructions are documented for G20, including a manual listing that identifies model BT062AB; confirm your own model’s documentation rather than assuming the same options apply to other BONAOK microphones. AUX connection
If your G20 has an AUX output and your car stereo has an AUX input, connect them with a compatible audio cable and select AUX as the stereo’s source. Check the port labels and the manual for your specific microphone before trying this route. The documented G20 AUX instructions do not establish AUX support for the G50 or other models.
Choose between FM and AUX

Troubleshoot connection problems
No sound over FM
- On a G50, check that FM is on and that the microphone and car radio are set to the same frequency. The FCC-hosted G50 manual lists these as checks for noise or no sound.
- If the frequency is noisy, try another frequency supported by your model. For the G50, the listed choices are 87.5, 88.5, 89.5, and 90.5 MHz.
Phone music does not play
For the G50 setup, confirm that the phone is paired to the microphone over Bluetooth and that music is playing from the phone. The Bluetooth link carries music from phone to mic; FM carries the mic’s output to the car radio. The cited instructions do not establish that directly pairing a BONAOK microphone to a car stereo over Bluetooth will transmit live microphone audio.

AUX does not work
Check that the microphone has an AUX output, the car has an AUX input, the cable connects those ports, and the car stereo is set to AUX. The G20 documentation describes this method; it may not apply to other models.

The G50 manual lists an FM transmission distance of within 15 meters. That is a manufacturer specification, not an independently measured result, and actual reception can depend on conditions in the car and surrounding area. The cited manual listings do not establish that they are the latest versions for every product variant, so use the instructions supplied with your microphone when they differ.
