First decide what you mean by “loop.” If you only want to repeat a meditation video while you watch it, YouTube’s built-in Loop control is enough. If you want a prerecorded video or playlist to run continuously as a public YouTube Live broadcast while your computer is off, compare cloud services that explicitly support uploaded-file looping—not just services that relay a live input.
Choose the right kind of loop
Repeat a video while you watch
For ordinary playback, use YouTube’s Loop control on the video player. You can also repeat a playlist. On a TV or gaming console, look for Repeat in playback controls or settings. This changes playback for the viewer; it does not create a public livestream.
Repeat a video in an embedded player
If you are configuring a single video embedded on a website, YouTube’s documented player parameters support repetition with loop=1 and the same video ID set as playlist. The documented pattern is https://www.youtube.com/embed/VIDEO_ID?playlist=VIDEO_ID&loop=1. This is an embedded-player setting, not a cloud broadcast.
Run a continuous YouTube Live meditation stream
For a 24/7-style public broadcast of prerecorded meditation audio or video, you need a service that can play uploaded files or playlists and send the resulting stream to YouTube Live. A cloud encoder that only distributes an incoming live signal may not be able to play uploaded media on repeat. Check that distinction before comparing plans.

Compare cloud services by the job they actually do
Use these questions to separate a genuine prerecorded-video loop service from a live-input relay or a player-repeat feature.
| What to compare | Questions to ask | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Source media | Can you upload video or audio files? Can you arrange multiple files into a playlist and loop them? | Some cloud services distribute a live encoder input; that does not establish that they can play uploaded files. |
| YouTube connection | Does setup require a YouTube RTMP server URL and stream key, or does the service use another documented integration? | YouTube Live setup may require the stream key and RTMP destination. Know where credentials are entered and who can access them. |
| Local equipment | After setup, must a computer, OBS, browser tab, or local upload connection remain online? | A cloud worker can keep the broadcast running without leaving your own computer on; a local encoder workflow cannot do that by itself. |
| Limits and billing | What are the included stream hours, number of simultaneous streams, storage allowance, trial limit, and cost after the trial? | A trial may be constrained by elapsed days, total streaming hours, storage, or stream count. Compare the actual limit you are likely to reach first. |
| Recovery and support | What happens after a temporary network failure, YouTube disconnect, invalid key, or unreadable source file? What support is included? | Recovery may address temporary errors, but it cannot make every platform, credential, or source-file problem disappear. |
| Rights and YouTube rules | Do you own or have permission to broadcast the meditation recording, visuals, and any background music? Who is responsible for policy compliance? | Using a cloud service does not transfer rights or remove your responsibility for complying with YouTube policies. |
Cloud options for prerecorded YouTube loops
1. StreamNeo
StreamNeo is a YouTube cloud service for keeping a channel live from uploaded videos or playlists: upload your recording, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. It runs the loop in the cloud, so your computer and home connection do not have to stay on. Its stated differentiators are one flat price per slot for any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps, automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream, and a first day free with no card. It is YouTube-only and plays uploaded video; it does not broadcast from a camera.

2. Looping Stream
Looping Stream’s provider page describes a workflow for uploaded video or audio files: arrange one or more items as a playlist, add YouTube’s RTMP destination and stream key, and run the broadcast from cloud workers. The provider says the computer is needed for configuration, but the browser can close and the computer can be turned off after setup. It lists meditation and relaxation programming as possible uses, provided you own or are authorized to broadcast the media.
The provider describes a new-user trial as seven days from first sign-in, up to 24 total streaming hours, 1 GB of storage, and one simultaneous stream, with no card required. The trial ends when either the seven-day period or the 24-hour allowance runs out. These are provider-stated trial terms and may change, so check the service’s current offer before relying on them. The provider also says media optimization is included and that interruptions remain possible; temporary errors may be recoverable, but outages, invalid keys, or source-file problems can stop a stream.

Do not treat every cloud encoder as a looping service
YouTube describes cloud encoders as a way to send one high-quality live stream to a cloud service that distributes it to destinations. That can be useful for a live-input relay or simulcast, but it does not prove that a particular encoder accepts an uploaded meditation video and loops it. Confirm the uploaded-file and playlist workflow in the service’s own documentation before signing up.
Set up the YouTube side before choosing a service
- Verify the channel and enable live streaming. YouTube’s live setup guidance says a channel must be verified and live streaming enabled. First-time enablement may take at least 24 hours after the first request, so do this before a planned launch.
- Locate the stream destination and key. Follow YouTube’s live setup flow to obtain the RTMP server URL and stream key when required. Treat the key as a credential: enter it only into the service you intend to use and do not share it publicly.
- Check the service’s file workflow. Confirm supported media, playlist behavior, storage limits, and whether playback starts again automatically after the playlist ends. Do not assume a live-input encoder can use uploaded files.
- Test privately or with an unlisted broadcast. Check that audio and video are present, the intended playlist is playing, and YouTube reports a healthy incoming stream before promoting the public stream.
- Monitor the first run. YouTube advises having sufficient upload speed and monitoring stream health. Even when media is hosted in the cloud, check the stream after launch and after any changes to the key, playlist, or source file.
Protect the meditation content and channel
- Use recordings, music, artwork, and video you own or have permission to broadcast. A meditation recording being publicly available does not by itself grant permission to rebroadcast it.
- Check licenses for ambient music, nature sounds, stock footage, and any visuals included in a long loop. Rights can apply to separate parts of one video.
- Review YouTube’s live-stream and monetization policies for your channel and content. A cloud provider can deliver the stream, but it cannot establish that your content complies with YouTube rules or has the rights required for broadcast.
- Keep a local copy of your source files and playlist details. If a cloud service reports an unreadable or missing file, those copies help you diagnose and restore the broadcast.
Troubleshoot common failures
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| YouTube does not receive a stream | Live streaming is not enabled, the RTMP destination is wrong, or the stream key is invalid. | Confirm channel eligibility and live activation, then re-enter the current YouTube destination and key in the service. Avoid exposing the key. |
| The stream stops after setup | A cloud worker encountered a platform or network interruption, or the service reached a trial or plan limit. | Check the service status and account limits, then inspect its recovery controls and YouTube stream health. Do not assume any provider can guarantee uninterrupted uptime. |
| The video will not play or the playlist is silent | The source file may be unsupported, unreadable, missing audio, or not arranged as expected. | Check the file in a local player, verify the playlist order and audio track, and consult the provider’s supported media guidance. |
| A service offers relay but not file looping | It may be designed for an incoming live encoder rather than uploaded media. | Ask specifically whether uploaded files and playlists can be repeated continuously before paying. |
| The channel receives a rights or policy complaint | The broadcast may include material without adequate permission or otherwise fail YouTube requirements. | Review the affected audio and visuals, the relevant license or permission, and YouTube’s notice. A streaming service cannot grant rights on your behalf. |
Compare the real cost, not just the trial
For a continuous meditation broadcast, compare the recurring cost with the operational limits you need: number of simultaneous streams, included storage, required quality, and whether someone must keep local equipment online. A trial that permits only a limited number of hours may be useful for testing setup but may not cover continuous use. For any provider, verify the current plan terms and what happens when its trial allowance ends.
