Update 1.3.0: Extended Operations is the latest dated free update identified in IO Interactive’s official notes; it was released October 1, 2026. To get it, use the update/download function of the platform where your copy of 007 First Light is installed. The notes do not specify manual patch-install menus. The Grey Standard outfit is a separate, optional IOI Account reward, and edition or preorder bonuses use separate entitlement and add-on checks.
What the free update includes
IO Interactive describes Update 1.3.0 as the first major free DLC for 007 First Light. Called Extended Operations, it adds New Game+, Photo Mode, a new “00” difficulty, two TacSim missions, and more than 700 fixes and improvements. New Game+ and “00” difficulty unlock after completing the full campaign. Read IO Interactive’s Update 1.3.0 patch notes.

Download the update on your platform

These figures are the stated download sizes for Update 1.3.0 in the October 1, 2026 notes; they are not recommended free-space amounts.
| Platform | Update 1.3.0 download size |

| Xbox Series | 13.5 GB |
| Microsoft PC | 8 GB |

If the update is not offered, check the current instructions for updating games in your platform client or contact official support. Do not use add-on management as a substitute for the base-game patch process: the official bonus-content guide documents entitlement checks, not patch installation steps.

Claim The Grey Standard outfit separately
The patch notes say players who connect 007 First Light to an IOI Account by November 1, 2026 unlock The Grey Standard outfit. This is an optional, time-limited account reward—not a requirement to download Update 1.3.0. IOI says an account is not required to play, though some in-game rewards require one. See the official update notes and account FAQ for current terms.

IOI’s FAQ says an internet connection is needed once to download the Day 1 patch, after which the full main campaign can be played offline. That statement concerns initial setup; it does not establish that later updates can be downloaded offline. The support page last updated September 15, 2026 lists PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam, Epic, Microsoft Store), with a May 27, 2026 release date, and lists Nintendo Switch 2 for March 2027.
