The Champion Teal Knight outfit is earned through Epic Games’ Champion Teal Knight FNCS Cup. It is not obtained from a physical product or a separate purchase. To qualify, you must meet the event’s age and multifactor-authentication (MFA) requirements, compete in the correct regional session, and finish at or above your region’s published placement cutoff. After Epic awards the outfit to your Epic Account, equip it in Fortnite through Locker > Character > outfit.
The important distinction is that entering the cup does not guarantee the cosmetic. The reward is placement-based, and the required finish differs by region and by whether you play the Battle Royale/Zero Build competition or the Mobile Cup.
What the Champion Teal Knight reward is
Champion Teal Knight is an in-game Fortnite outfit tied to the Champion Teal Knight FNCS Cup. Epic’s event listing describes the cup as a competition for a chance to earn Champion Teal Knight cosmetic rewards. The outfit comes from that prize table; the official event material does not identify a physical item, toy, accessory, media product, or other merchandise that grants it.

Eligibility requirements before you enter
Check all of the following before spending time in a qualifier session. Missing one requirement can make a high placement ineligible for the reward.
- Age: You must be at least 13 years old, or meet the higher minimum age required in your country of residence.
- MFA: Multifactor authentication must be enabled on your Epic Account before you compete.
- Correct account: Play on the Epic Account whose email address you can access. Epic uses that account for winner notification and verification.
- Eligible prize region: The rules exclude residents of Turkey and Russia from prizes under the Prize Restricted Regions clause.
- Eligible event format: Choose the session that matches your platform and the published cup listing. The rules describe Solo Battle Royale and Zero Build qualifier sessions, with separate Mobile Cup cutoffs.
Age and MFA are entry conditions, not optional recommendations. If you are unsure whether your country has a higher minimum age, use the requirement that applies in your country of residence rather than assuming the general 13-year threshold.
Placement cutoffs by region and mode
The outfit is awarded according to the 2026 rules’ placement table. A cutoff written as “1st–1,000th,” for example, means players finishing anywhere from first through 1,000th are within the listed outfit range for that region and competition type.

These are separate targets. A player in EU’s Battle Royale/Zero Build session is aiming for the 1,000th-place cutoff, while an EU Mobile Cup player is aiming for the 200th-place cutoff. You cannot apply the Battle Royale/Zero Build number to a Mobile Cup session or vice versa.

How to use the table for your own target
- Identify the region attached to the event session you intend to play, such as EU, NAC, NAW, BR, OCE, Asia, or ME.
- Identify whether the session is Battle Royale/Zero Build or Mobile Cup.
- Read the corresponding row and treat the last listed place as the minimum qualifying rank for the outfit.
- Leave a margin above the cutoff where possible. A final position exactly at the boundary is listed as eligible, but a small cushion protects against misreading the session or checking the wrong leaderboard.
How to enter and play the Champion Teal Knight FNCS Cup
Epic’s rules describe Solo Battle Royale and Zero Build qualifier sessions. Each session lasts approximately three hours, and you may play a maximum of 11 matches in that session. The Mobile Cup uses its own placement table, so verify the event type shown in Fortnite before you queue.
- Prepare the account. Sign in to the Epic Account you intend to keep using, confirm that MFA is enabled, and make sure the account’s associated email address is accessible.
- Confirm eligibility. Verify your age against the 13-or-country-minimum rule and confirm that your country of residence is not excluded from prizes under the rules.
- Open the event listing. In Fortnite, locate the Champion Teal Knight FNCS Cup listing and read the session details shown for your platform and region.
- Choose the correct format. Select the Solo Battle Royale or Zero Build qualifier when that is the competition you are entering. If you are using the Mobile Cup listing, use the Mobile Cup placement targets instead.
- Plan the session window. Allow roughly three hours for the session. Because the rules cap participation at 11 matches, decide in advance how you will use those attempts rather than assuming you can continue indefinitely.
- Play every match you enter carefully. Your final result is placement-based. Avoid voluntarily abandoning a match if doing so could reduce your standing, and keep track of how many matches you have played so you do not assume additional attempts remain after reaching the 11-match limit.
- Check the result in the correct regional context. Compare your final placement with the cutoff for both your region and your mode. A result that qualifies in one region or format may not qualify in another.
The rules do not promise an outfit merely for participating, completing a certain number of matches, or reaching a particular in-match milestone. The relevant requirement for this cosmetic is finishing inside the published placement range while meeting the account and prize-eligibility conditions.
Planning a session without wasting your attempts
The three-hour duration and 11-match maximum create a fixed competition window. The following preparation is practical rather than an additional Epic rule, but it helps prevent avoidable eligibility problems.
- Confirm the account before queuing: If more than one person uses the device, verify the displayed Epic Account first. A strong result on the wrong account cannot be moved to another account through the cited claim process.
- Check MFA before event day: Enabling it after a session is not a substitute for meeting the requirement when you compete.
- Write down the cutoff: Record the region, mode, and final qualifying place from the table so you do not compare your result against a different event category.
- Track match count: Keep a simple tally from one through 11. The rules state a maximum of 11 matches per session, not an unlimited number of attempts during the three-hour window.
- Protect the session window: Reserve enough uninterrupted time to finish the matches you plan to play. A session that lasts approximately three hours can end before you have used every possible attempt.
- Keep access to email: Epic sends potential-winner notifications to the email address associated with the Epic Account. Make sure you can receive and read messages there after the cup.
What happens after you finish
Epic’s rules place post-event notification and verification with Epic. Potential winners are notified at the email address associated with the Epic Account within 60 days after the applicable session, or later if reasonably required. Keep the account active during the verification process.

Notification is not an instant unlock
The outfit may not appear immediately when the session ends. The rules allow up to 60 days for notification and also allow a longer period when reasonably required. Do not treat the absence of an immediate Locker item as proof that you failed, and do not create a second account to chase the reward while verification is pending.
Use the same account throughout
Epic’s verification is tied to the competing Epic Account. Keep that account active, retain access to its email address, and avoid switching accounts when checking for the notification or the cosmetic. The official material does not describe a transfer process for moving the reward between accounts.
Prize-region limitation
Residents of Turkey and Russia are excluded from prizes under the rules’ Prize Restricted Regions clause. This limitation applies even if a player otherwise satisfies the age, MFA, mode, and placement conditions.

- Launch Fortnite and wait for the lobby.
- Navigate to the Locker tab from the lobby.
- Select Character.
- Choose the outfit slot or outfit picker.
- Select Champion Teal Knight.
- Click Back to return from the outfit picker and apply the selection.
The outfit should now be the selected Character cosmetic for the account you are using. The support instructions use the Locker rather than a separate reward webpage or code-entry screen.

1. Confirm the account
Verify that Fortnite is signed in to the same Epic Account that played the cup. If another account is active on the device, its Locker will not show cosmetics granted to the competing account.

Open Locker > Character and inspect the outfit picker. Champion Teal Knight is an outfit, so looking in an unrelated cosmetic category will not show it.

3. Allow for Epic’s notification and verification window
If the event has only recently ended, remember that Epic’s rules allow notification within 60 days after the applicable session, or longer when reasonably required. The reward is not described as an instant post-match unlock.
4. Check the account email
Potential winners are notified at the email address associated with the Epic Account. Review that inbox and ensure the account remains active while Epic verifies eligibility.
5. Recheck the session type and placement
Compare your result with the row that matches both your region and your mode. For example, the EU Battle Royale/Zero Build cutoff is 1st–1,000th, while the EU Mobile Cup cutoff is 1st–200th. Using the wrong row can make an otherwise accurate result look incorrectly qualified.

6. Recheck eligibility restrictions
Make sure the account met the age and MFA requirements and that the player is not resident in a prize-restricted region. A placement alone does not override those conditions.
Battle Royale/Zero Build versus Mobile Cup
The main difference for this reward is not the outfit itself but the qualifying table attached to the event format. Battle Royale and Zero Build share one set of regional cutoffs, while Mobile has a separate set.
