Choose the Secretlab TITAN Evo by height and weight first, then verify the seat dimensions against a chair you already find comfortable. Secretlab’s current guidance places users at 169 cm (5 ft 6 in) or shorter and under 90 kg (200 lb) in the Small; users 170–189 cm (5 ft 7 in–6 ft 2 in) and under 100 kg (220 lb) in the Regular; and users 181–205 cm (5 ft 11 in–6 ft 9 in) weighing 80–180 kg (175–395 lb) in the XL. Because Regular and XL overlap from 181 to 189 cm, weight, seat depth, usable width, desk clearance and foot contact decide many borderline purchases.
Secretlab TITAN Evo size chart
Use the recommendation bands below as the first filter. They are guidance ranges rather than a substitute for checking the chair’s physical fit.
| Size | Recommended height | Recommended weight | Maximum supported weight |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small (S) | Up to 169 cm (5 ft 6 in) | Under 90 kg (200 lb) | 130 kg (285 lb) |
| Regular (R) | 170–189 cm (5 ft 7 in–6 ft 2 in) | Under 100 kg (220 lb) | 130 kg (285 lb) |
| XL | 181–205 cm (5 ft 11 in–6 ft 9 in) | 80–180 kg (175–395 lb) | 180 kg (395 lb) |
The maximum figures are different from the recommended bands. A Small or Regular can list support up to 130 kg, for example, while Secretlab recommends the Regular for users below 100 kg. Treat the recommendation as the comfort and ergonomics target, and the maximum as a load limit—not as a promise that every body shape will fit well.
How to choose when the size ranges overlap
At 181–189 cm: decide between Regular and XL
Height alone cannot select a size in this interval. Start with weight. If your weight is above the Regular recommendation, the XL is the safer starting point because its recommended range extends to 180 kg and its maximum supported weight is 180 kg. Then check the XL’s larger seat, armrest span, wheelbase and seat height against your room and desk.
#1 Best Overall
- ALL-DAY COMFORT FOR WORK & PLAY - PC chair made of cold-cure foam for ideal posture, comes with memory foam magnetic head pillow that can be adjusted over a wide range and snaps into place on your backrest while providing enhanced neck support and pressure relief
If you are within the Regular weight recommendation, compare the two seat footprints and the posture you prefer. The Regular is more compact; the XL gives more usable width and a longer backrest. Do not select XL merely because it is physically larger: extra depth or height can leave a shorter user without stable foot contact or push the armrests too far apart.
Tall but below 80 kg
The XL recommendation begins at 80 kg. If you are 181–205 cm but weigh less than 80 kg, Secretlab’s chart does not place you squarely in an XL recommendation band. Compare the dimensions with a chair that supports your thighs and back well. A tall, light user may prefer the Regular if its seat depth and armrest span match their body, while a long-legged user may need the XL’s additional backrest length and seat depth. Make that decision from measurements and posture, not from height alone.
Shorter users with higher weight
A user at or below 169 cm may fit the Small by height but exceed its recommended weight. The Regular or XL may provide a more suitable load range, yet their deeper seats and higher maximum seat settings can affect leg support. Compare usable seat width, seat depth and the lowest seat height with your current chair. If your feet do not rest flat after correct adjustment, a footrest can restore support without changing the selected size.

Near a boundary
Measure your height without shoes and use your current body weight, not a target weight. When a measurement sits close to a cutoff, treat the more restrictive requirement as the deciding constraint, then verify the dimensions below. A chair that technically supports your weight can still feel wrong if the seat is too deep, the armrests are too wide or the seat cannot descend far enough for your feet.
Compare the physical dimensions
Secretlab’s 2024 technical specifications show how the three TITAN Evo sizes differ. Width figures distinguish the total seatbase, which includes the side bolsters, from the usable area where you can sit.
| Dimension | Small | Regular | XL |
|---|---|---|---|
| Seat depth | 48 cm (18.9 in) | 49 cm (19.3 in) | 50 cm (19.7 in) |
| Seatbase width including sides | 53 cm (20.9 in) | 56 cm (22.0 in) | 58 cm (22.8 in) |
| Usable seatbase width | 45 cm (17.7 in) | 47 cm (18.5 in) | 49 cm (19.3 in) |
| Armrest-to-armrest span | 62–70 cm | 66–74 cm | 69.5–77.5 cm |
| Floor-to-seatbase height | 45–52 cm | 45–52 cm | 46–55.5 cm |
| Wheelbase diameter | 70 cm | 70 cm | 80 cm |
| Backrest length | 82 cm | 85 cm | 89 cm |
Seat depth and thigh support
The seat is only 1 cm deeper from Small to Regular and another 1 cm deeper from Regular to XL, but that difference can affect shorter legs. Sit with your back against the backrest and keep a small gap behind your knees. If the front edge presses into your legs, the seat is too deep for your posture; if much of your thighs are unsupported, it is too shallow.

Usable width versus total width
Use the usable seatbase width when estimating personal room. The side-inclusive measurement is the space the chair occupies, not the flat sitting area. The usable width increases from 45 cm in Small to 47 cm in Regular and 49 cm in XL. Users who need more hip or shoulder room should also check the armrest span, since the armrests can be a limiting point even when the seat itself feels wide enough.

Small and Regular share a 45–52 cm floor-to-seatbase range. XL starts 1 cm higher and reaches 55.5 cm. Your feet should be flat, with knees roughly level with or slightly below your hips, while your back is supported. If the correct seat height leaves your feet dangling, do not compensate by sliding forward; use a footrest or reconsider the size and desk height.
Backrest and floor space
The XL backrest is 89 cm long, compared with 85 cm for Regular and 82 cm for Small. Its 80 cm wheelbase also needs 10 cm more floor diameter than the 70 cm base used by Small and Regular. Measure around your desk, walls and neighboring furniture before ordering an XL.
Measure a chair you already like
Secretlab’s sizing guidance recommends comparing the TITAN Evo with a current gaming chair when you do not fit neatly into one range. This is the most useful way to turn the specification table into a personal decision.
- Set your current chair correctly. Sit with your back against the backrest, feet flat and knees relaxed. Record the seat height that lets you work comfortably.
- Measure seat depth. Measure from the backrest contact point to the front edge of the usable cushion. Compare that number with 48, 49 and 50 cm, and note whether the front edge leaves a small gap behind your knees.
- Measure usable width. Measure the flat sitting area between the side bolsters, not the outside edges. Compare it with 45, 47 and 49 cm.
- Check armrest spacing. Measure the outside span between armrests and note whether your elbows stay close to your torso. Compare your result with each size’s adjustable range.
- Record the lowest comfortable seat height. If your current chair must sit unusually low for flat feet, the XL’s 46 cm minimum may be important.
- Check clearance. Mark a circle 70 cm in diameter for Small or Regular, or 80 cm for XL, and verify that the base and casters can move without hitting the desk or walls.
Use your measurements alongside the height and weight chart. A close dimensional match to a chair you already tolerate well is stronger evidence than choosing a larger model for extra room.
Choose by common body-and-desk situations
Under 169 cm and under 90 kg
Small is the direct match. Its 48 cm seat depth, 45 cm usable width and 45–52 cm seat-height range are designed around the smaller recommendation band. Verify that the 62–70 cm armrest span fits your shoulder width and that the 70 cm wheelbase works in your space.

- ALL-DAY COMFORT FOR WORK & PLAY - PC chair made of cold-cure foam for ideal posture, comes with memory foam magnetic head pillow that can be adjusted over a wide range and snaps into place on your backrest while providing enhanced neck support and pressure relief
170–180 cm and under 100 kg
Regular is the direct match. It offers a 49 cm seat depth, 47 cm usable width and the same 45–52 cm seat-height range as Small, with a longer 85 cm backrest. If you are close to 170 cm and have short legs, compare the seat depth with your existing chair rather than assuming the extra backrest length will help.
181–189 cm and under 100 kg
Both Regular and XL can be plausible. Choose Regular when its narrower footprint and 47 cm usable width fit your body and desk. Choose XL when you need the 49 cm usable width, 89 cm backrest or a larger armrest span, and can accommodate its 80 cm wheelbase and higher 46–55.5 cm seat range.
181–205 cm and 100–180 kg
XL is the appropriate recommendation band. Its 49 cm usable seat width, 50 cm seat depth and 180 kg maximum supported weight address the requirements that push a user beyond the Regular recommendation. Confirm that the seat height works with your desk and that the wheelbase has enough room.
Over 180 kg
The XL specification lists 180 kg (395 lb) as its maximum supported weight. Do not treat a chair beyond that limit as suitable; seek a product with a higher published capacity instead.
Account for your desk and posture
Chair size and desk geometry work together. Set the seat so your feet are supported, then adjust armrests so your elbows remain near the desk surface without lifting your shoulders. If an XL’s higher range forces you to raise the desk or lift your shoulders, the larger seat may create a new ergonomic problem even if its width is comfortable.
Likewise, do not lower a chair so far that your knees rise sharply or your thighs lose support merely to keep both feet on the floor. A footrest can bridge a small height mismatch while preserving a neutral sitting position.

TITAN Evo versus TITAN Evo Lite sizing
The TITAN Evo Lite is offered only in Regular and XL. If you need the Small recommendation band, the flagship TITAN Evo is the model with the Small size. For Regular and XL buyers, apply the same height, weight and dimensional checks rather than assuming the Lite’s limited size selection changes the fit rules.
Footrests and caster changes after choosing a size
Footrest for residual height mismatch
Secretlab lists footrests as TITAN Evo add-ons. They are a practical follow-up for a shorter user whose feet do not sit flat after the seat is adjusted correctly. A footrest addresses foot support; it does not make an overly deep seat or excessively wide armrests fit, so choose the chair size first.
Casters and floor surface
Default XL PU casters come with TITAN Evo chairs. Secretlab’s Premium Extra Small Casters are intended to provide a slightly lower chair height. Soft Rollerblade Casters are designed to roll smoothly over carpet and are listed as compatible with TITAN Evo Small and Regular. Their product specification gives a 100 kg (220 lb) maximum user weight and says they increase chair height by 24.5 mm. That height increase matters for shorter desks and for users already near the top of their seat-height range.
Do not use the Soft Rollerblade specification to extend a chair’s weight rating: its 100 kg limit is separate from the TITAN Evo frame limits. Check caster compatibility and the current product specification before changing hardware.
Common sizing mistakes
- Choosing by height only: the Regular/XL overlap means weight and dimensions must be checked as well.
- Confusing maximum load with recommended fit: a 130 kg maximum for Small or Regular does not make those sizes the recommended choice at that weight.
- Measuring the outside of the seat: side bolsters are included in the total width but not the usable sitting width.
- Ignoring the lowest seat height: an XL can start 1 cm higher and rise to 55.5 cm, which may affect foot contact.
- Forgetting floor space: XL’s 80 cm wheelbase needs more clearance than the 70 cm Small and Regular base.
- Using accessories to hide a wrong size: a footrest can solve dangling feet, but it cannot correct an unsuitable seat depth or insufficient usable width.
- Assuming a larger chair is always better: extra width and depth can move armrests away from your elbows and place the front edge behind your knees.
A final pre-order checklist
- Measure height without shoes and record current weight.
- Identify every size whose recommendation band includes both measurements.
- If you are in the 181–189 cm overlap, use weight as the first tie-breaker.
- Compare seat depth, usable width, armrest span and seat-height range with your current chair.
- Confirm that the wheelbase fits your floor area and that the seat height works with your desk.
- Check the model: TITAN Evo Lite has no Small option.
- Plan a footrest only if the selected size otherwise fits but your feet need support.
- Verify current regional availability, pricing, return terms and any accessory limits at the time of purchase; those details can change.
Secretlab summarizes the reason for offering multiple sizes this way: “We’re all built differently, which is why your chair shouldn’t come in just one size.” The quotation appears in its guide, Choosing the Right Secretlab Gaming Chair Size, dated June 6, 2026. The ranges and dimensions in this guide come from Secretlab’s official sizing guidance and 2024 technical specifications; no independent testing is represented here.
