Choose the Galaxy S26 for the most compact option and the lowest US launch-price tier; choose the S26+ for a larger, higher-resolution display and a larger listed battery; choose the S26 Ultra if you want its more extensive camera hardware, S Pen support, largest screen, or 1TB storage option. The right choice depends on which of those differences you will use—not on the model name alone.
Galaxy S26 vs. S26+ vs. S26 Ultra at a glance
Samsung’s US comparison lists these core differences. Screen measurements are diagonal; the usable view is smaller around rounded corners and the camera opening. Battery capacities are specifications, not guarantees of how long a phone will last.

Which Galaxy S26 is right for you?
Choose the Galaxy S26 for a more compact phone
The S26 has the smallest display in this three-model line, at 6.3 inches, and a lower resolution than the Plus and Ultra. Its rear-camera specifications match the S26+ on Samsung’s US comparison. Pick it if a smaller screen and the lower launch-price tier matter more to you than a larger display, higher listed battery capacity, or S Pen.

Choose the Galaxy S26+ for a bigger screen without changing the listed camera array
The S26+ moves up to a 6.7-inch QHD+ display and a 4,900mAh listed battery. Its rear-camera array is the same as the S26’s on Samsung’s comparison, so the Plus is principally a screen-and-size choice rather than a camera-system upgrade. It is larger and had a higher US launch starting price than the S26.
Choose the Galaxy S26 Ultra for its specific extras
The Ultra is the largest model, with a 6.9-inch QHD+ display. Samsung lists a 200MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide, separate 3x and 5x telephoto cameras, and up to 100x Space Zoom. It is also the only one of these three with S Pen support and the only one with a listed 1TB configuration. Those features make it the natural choice only if they fit your use; it is also the largest and had the highest US launch starting price.
How much storage should you get?
Samsung lists 256GB and 512GB versions of the S26 and S26+, and adds a 1TB Ultra configuration. External SD cards are not supported, so capacity cannot be expanded that way. Consider how much space your locally stored photos and video, downloaded media, and apps use, and whether you routinely keep older files on the phone. Samsung’s US comparison pairs the Ultra’s 1TB configuration with 16GB RAM; its listed 256GB and 512GB configurations have 12GB RAM.

The Ultra’s included pen does not support BLE or Air Actions, so do not choose it expecting those remote-control features. See Samsung’s comparison and S Pen notes.

| Galaxy S26+ | Up to 45W | Up to 20W |
| Galaxy S26 Ultra | Up to 60W | Up to 25W |
These are Samsung’s listed charging rates, not a promise that every charger or charging setup will reach them. Samsung’s Global Newsroom says the power adapter is sold separately; check local packaging and compatibility before buying a charger. Its specification page says the Ultra can reach 75% in around 30 minutes with a 60W adapter. That stated result applies to the named adapter and model, not every charging setup.
