This distinction matters because the community reference describes Abyssal Manastones as adding PvP stats while slightly reducing the chance of PvE stats. That makes them a variant to evaluate for PvP-oriented builds, not an automatic choice for every class or PvP activity. The listed stats include PvP Attack, Defense, Accuracy, Evasion, Critical Hit, Block, Critical Hit Resist and Damage Boost. Compare tiers by their actual roll pools
Stone tier affects both the documented stat pool and the distribution of possible quality results. The reference distinguishes Lesser, Intermediate and Superior stones, and lists Abyssal variants separately. Do not assume that a stat available on one tier can roll on every other tier: compare the tier-specific pool and outcomes shown in the reference, then confirm they match the current client.
These distinctions support comparing tiers on eligibility and quality outcomes, but do not establish that a higher tier is automatically the right choice for your build. The useful question is whether its available results fit your goal and the item you are filling.
Check patch-era evidence before setting a class priority
NCSoft’s class announcements show why old recommendations need a date. On June 4, 2025, the company announced eight enhanced classes in a core-content update. On March 25, 2026, it announced a comprehensive class rebalance and new Stigma skills for every class. Those announcements establish that class balance changes; neither one specifies which Manastones a class should use.

Before treating a stat as a priority, look for a dated build that matches your region, patch, activity and role. If a guide does not identify those details, it may not answer the question you are trying to solve. The available sources do not verify current class-specific recommendations for PvE, PvP, solo or group play, or whether priorities differ by region.

A practical selection checklist
- Define the use case. Write down whether the setup is for PvE or PvP and which activity or role it serves.
- Confirm the slot. Use the community reference’s distinction—Manastones for weapons and armor, Soulstones for accessories—and check the live client.
- Inspect the tier. Compare the eligible stat pool and possible quality results for that exact tier; do not extrapolate from another tier.
- Evaluate the variant. For PvP-focused goals, check whether the Abyssal pool’s listed PvP stats suit the activity, while accounting for its described reduction in PvE-stat chances.
- Validate the build evidence. Prefer a current, dated recommendation for your class, region and activity. If none is available, describe your choice as an inference from the stone’s documented mechanics—not as a proven class priority.
What can—and cannot—be recommended by class
The documented evidence supports comparing stone and slot mechanics, tier-specific pools, and ordinary versus Abyssal stat mixes.
