To check current AT&T PREPAID balances, dial *777# from your AT&T PREPAID phone. AT&T texts your account balance, data balance, and package information. For past usage, sign in and open Manage Prepaid account > Account History. AT&T lists the plan renewal date as an account question to ask support; its published instructions do not confirm one self-service menu path that works for every customer.
Check your current account and data balances
- From your AT&T PREPAID phone, dial *777#.
- Read the text message AT&T sends with your account balance, data balance, and package details.
AT&T calls this the easiest way to check current usage in its Check your AT&T Prepaid usage article, last updated November 24, 2025. Keep the two balances distinct: your account balance is not the same as your high-speed data balance.
Review past usage online
- Sign in to your AT&T account and choose Manage Prepaid account.
- Open Account History.
- Enter a start date and end date. Each history selection can cover up to 30 days.
- Choose a History Type.
- Select Submit to view the results or Export to PDF to save them.

Find your plan renewal date
AT&T’s usage support page includes the plan renewal date among account details customers can ask about by phone and directs customers to contact support for that inquiry. The published instructions do not establish a universal web or app screen where every PREPAID customer can find the date. You can also manage your account online, but if the renewal date is not shown there, contact AT&T rather than relying on an assumed menu path.

Other ways to manage your AT&T PREPAID account
AT&T’s PREPAID account-management instructions identify these alternatives:
- Online: Sign in at paygonline.com with your AT&T PREPAID wireless number and four-digit password. AT&T says online account management includes balance, payments, AutoPay, usage, plan, add-ons, and multi-line settings.
- By phone: Dial 611 from your AT&T PREPAID phone.
- From a landline: Call 1-800-901-9878.
Why your remaining data may change at renewal
Unused high-speed data does not roll over on every plan. AT&T says selected monthly and multi-month plans, excluding Unlimited plans, can carry unused high-speed plan data into one 30-day renewal period when the plan renews on time. Check your account for plan-specific eligibility and current balances; see AT&T’s usage support information for account details.
