PC Slower Than It Used to Be?
A free scan shows the junk files, broken settings and background clutter dragging Windows down - then fixes them in one click.Free scan · Windows 10 & 11Outdated Drivers Are Slowing You Down
One free scan finds every outdated or missing driver and matches the right update for your exact hardware.Free scan · exact hardware matchCompare your PC’s exact Windows version, processor, RAM, graphics card, and installation drive with the published requirements below. To meet the minimum, your graphics card must support hardware ray tracing, and the game needs an SSD with 115 GB free. Meeting a listed tier confirms only that your system meets those published specifications; it does not guarantee a particular frame rate or graphics quality.
Gears of War: E-Day PC requirements
The current Steam listing, checked October 3, 2026, gives two hardware tiers. Compare your system with the minimum column first; the recommended column is the stronger target.

These are the component models and thresholds stated by Steam’s Gears of War: E-Day listing. For a model not named in the listing, its position is not established just because its product number looks higher. Look up the full model and compare it carefully rather than treating the examples as a complete compatibility list.
How to check your PC
- Find your Windows version, CPU, and installed RAM. Open Windows System Information or Task Manager and select the Performance view. Record the full processor model and RAM amount, then compare them with the table.
- Identify the graphics card you will use. In Task Manager’s Performance view, check the GPU model. On a laptop with integrated and discrete graphics, identify the dedicated GPU and make sure the game will use it. The listing explicitly requires hardware ray tracing at minimum; verify that capability for the exact card rather than inferring it from a series name.
- Check the installation drive. Confirm the drive is an SSD and has at least 115 GB free. Steam notes that future updates may need additional space, so leaving extra room is prudent.
- Classify the result by tier. If every minimum requirement is met, your PC meets the published minimum specifications. If it matches the recommended tier, it meets the recommended specifications. A shortfall in one component is not offset by extra storage or more RAM elsewhere.
Are these launch requirements or beta requirements?
The Coalition announced final PC specifications for launch on September 17, 2026, and an editor’s note says the specification image was updated September 28. The current Steam listing provides the detailed text requirements above. The beta FAQ specifically warned that beta PC specifications were not the launch specifications, so older beta-era advice should not be used as the final threshold. See The Coalition’s Xbox Wire launch-specification announcement and the official beta FAQ.

What the requirements cannot tell you
The Steam requirements establish minimum and recommended component tiers, but they do not state guaranteed frame rates, resolution, or graphics settings for every system. If a PC only just meets minimum, the requirements alone cannot predict how smoothly it will run. Likewise, an SSD upgrade addresses only the storage condition; it will not remedy a processor, graphics, operating-system, or memory shortfall.

Xbox Wire lists Windows PC and Steam alongside Xbox Series X|S, with Game Pass availability, and gives October 6, 2026 as the worldwide launch date. Its October 1 update says Early Access began that day for eligible players. The official description covers a campaign, Horde Siege PvE, and Versus PvP; online multiplayer features require an applicable Game Pass subscription, but that does not change the PC hardware comparison. See Xbox Wire’s game and availability details.
