Compare your computer with Warota’s complete published minimum: 64-bit Windows 10 or 11, an Intel Core i5-9400 processor, 8 GB of RAM, a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti with 4 GB of VRAM, and DirectX 11. Your PC meets the baseline on paper only when it reaches or exceeds every listed requirement. Steam has not published recommended specifications, a target frame rate, or benchmark results, so meeting the minimum does not guarantee 60 frames per second or any particular resolution.
This guide shows exactly where to find each specification in Windows, how to interpret borderline hardware, what to check before upgrading, and what is currently known about the demo, Early Access release, and Steam Deck support.
Warota minimum system requirements at a glance
The official Steam listing gives one set of requirements rather than separate minimum and recommended tiers. Use the table below as a strict checklist. If even one category falls below the stated value, the PC is not fully compliant with the published baseline.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
| PC component | Warota minimum | Where to verify it | How to interpret the result |
|---|---|---|---|
| Operating system | Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit | Settings > System > About | The edition must be Windows 10/11 and the system type must be 64-bit. |
| Processor | Intel Core i5-9400 | Settings > System > About, or Task Manager > Performance > CPU | Use the exact model. A newer or faster processor is the safe interpretation, but Steam provides no official equivalence chart. |
| Memory | 8 GB RAM | Settings > System > About, or Task Manager > Performance > Memory | Installed system memory should be at least 8 GB. Available memory will be lower while Windows and other programs are running. |
| Graphics card | GeForce GTX 1050 Ti with 4 GB VRAM | DirectX Diagnostic Tool (dxdiag) > Display | Check both the GPU model and dedicated display memory. Integrated graphics do not automatically qualify. |
| Graphics API | DirectX 11 | Run dxdiag and read the System tab |
The DirectX Version line must show 11 or a later version. |
Steam’s captured listing does not state a storage requirement, recommended hardware, target resolution, target frame rate, ray-tracing support, or a tested list of alternative GPUs. Those omissions are important: do not treat an unlisted part as officially supported merely because it appears newer by name.

What kind of game is Warota?
Warota: I Live Next to The Demon King’s Castle LOL is described on Steam as a village-building action RPG. The core loop combines gathering resources, constructing and managing a village, assigning roles to villagers, changing classes by swapping hats, exploring, fighting, and defending against monster waves connected to the Demon King’s live performances.
That mixture can involve more than a simple two-dimensional scene: village simulation, many characters, effects, and combat encounters may stress the processor and graphics card differently. However, no benchmark or hands-on performance test has established how the released game will behave at a particular resolution or frame rate. The only defensible compatibility judgment today is whether your hardware meets the published minimum.
Check your Windows version, architecture, CPU, and RAM
1. Open the About page
- Right-click the Start button and choose System, or open Settings > System > About.
- Under Windows specifications, read the edition and version. Warota’s requirement names Windows 10 or Windows 11; an older Windows release is outside the stated baseline.
- Find System type. It should say 64-bit operating system. A 32-bit installation does not satisfy the requirement even if the processor itself is capable of 64-bit operation.
- Read the Processor line and record the complete model, such as the exact Core designation and model number. Do not compare only the advertised clock speed.
- Read Installed RAM. The value should be at least 8 GB. Windows may reserve some memory for hardware, so a machine marketed as having 8 GB can show slightly less usable memory.
2. Confirm details in Task Manager
Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc, select Performance, and open CPU or Memory. Task Manager can reveal the processor model, current memory usage, memory speed, and whether another application is consuming most of the available RAM. These live values do not replace the installed-total check, but they help explain stuttering caused by background software.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3. Interpret the processor result
The i5-9400 is the named reference point, not a promise that every processor with a similar-sounding name performs identically. Compare the full model and generation. A later Core i5 may be faster, while an older or low-power mobile chip may be slower despite having a higher advertised boost frequency. Steam does not publish a performance-equivalence table, so uncertain cases should be treated as unconfirmed rather than guaranteed.
Check the graphics card and dedicated VRAM
1. Launch DirectX Diagnostic Tool
- Open Windows Search and type
dxdiag. - Run dxdiag. If Windows asks whether it should check whether your drivers are digitally signed, choose the option that allows the tool to open; the hardware information is available either way.
- On the System tab, note the DirectX Version.
- Open the Display tab. Read Name for the active GPU and the dedicated display-memory figure, often shown as Display Memory (VRAM).
2. Make sure you are reading the discrete GPU
Laptops often list an integrated graphics adapter and a separate discrete adapter. If dxdiag shows more than one Display tab, inspect each one. The game must be assigned to a GPU that meets the GTX 1050 Ti 4 GB baseline; the presence of a qualifying card in the laptop does not help if Windows launches the game on a weaker integrated adapter.
You can check the adapter selected for a running application in Task Manager > Performance and, on current Windows versions, set a game to Settings > System > Display > Graphics. Add the game’s executable after installation and choose High performance when the laptop has both integrated and discrete graphics. The exact executable name may not be known until the game is installed, so do not create a random entry and assume it changes the game’s behavior.

- What You Get: Anker 332 USB-C Hub (5-in-1), welcome guide, our worry-free 18-month warranty, and friendly customer service.
3. Compare the model and memory separately
The published graphics requirement contains two parts: a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti model and 4 GB of VRAM. A card with 4 GB of memory is not automatically equivalent to that GPU, and a faster GPU with less than 4 GB does not match the requirement exactly. Newer or faster hardware is the reasonable direction for comparison, but Steam has not supplied an official list of equivalent cards or a benchmark.
Check DirectX 11
On dxdiag’s System tab, read the DirectX Version line. DirectX 11 or a later version meets the API wording of the requirement. Windows 10 and Windows 11 normally include modern DirectX components, but the dxdiag result is the authoritative check for your installation.
Do not confuse DirectX version with the graphics card’s feature level. A computer can report a recent DirectX runtime while its GPU lacks the feature level or performance the game needs. That is why the API check and the GTX 1050 Ti comparison must both pass.
Use this pass-or-fail decision method
- Write down your Windows edition and system type.
- Write down the exact CPU model.
- Record installed RAM in gigabytes.
- Record the active discrete GPU model and dedicated VRAM.
- Record the DirectX Version from dxdiag.
- Compare every line with the baseline table.
Call the PC compatible on paper only when all five categories meet or exceed the listed values. If one result is unknown—for example, a laptop with unclear graphics switching—label the result unconfirmed instead of assuming it passes. The minimum list is a floor, not a performance guarantee.
Example: a clear pass
A desktop running 64-bit Windows 11 with a Core i5-9400, 16 GB of RAM, a GTX 1050 Ti with 4 GB of dedicated VRAM, and DirectX 12 meets the published baseline on paper. DirectX 12 is a later version than the stated DirectX 11 requirement; the other categories meet or exceed the named values.

A laptop with 64-bit Windows 11, 8 GB of RAM, and a qualifying processor still falls short if its only GPU is integrated graphics with shared memory. It has passed the operating-system and memory checks, but not the graphics requirement.

Example: an uncertain CPU comparison
A machine with a mobile Core i5 whose model number is not recorded cannot be classified from the “Core i5” label alone. Find the complete model in Settings or Task Manager and compare its relative performance cautiously; Steam does not define which alternative processors are equivalent to the i5-9400.
What meeting the minimum does—and does not—tell you
It establishes a published hardware floor
The minimum tells you the configuration the developer and publisher chose to list for PC. It is useful for deciding whether a purchase or upgrade is worth investigating and for identifying the most obvious incompatibility.
It does not establish a frame rate
Steam’s recommended-specification section is unpopulated. There is no official 60-fps target, resolution target, benchmark, or settings preset attached to the minimum. A PC that exactly matches the baseline may need lower graphics settings or may perform differently in a busy village or monster wave than in a quiet area. No reliable frame-rate number can be promised from the requirement list alone.

The captured official listing does not state how much storage the installation needs. Keep adequate free space for the game, updates, shader caches, and save data, but do not treat any particular gigabyte figure as an official Warota requirement until the store listing provides one.
Other factors can change the experience
- Older or unstable graphics drivers can cause crashes even when the hardware meets the list.
- Thermal throttling in a laptop can reduce sustained CPU or GPU speed.
- Background recording, browsers, overlays, and security scans consume CPU, RAM, and storage bandwidth.
- Single-channel or nearly full system memory can worsen stutter, although the published requirement only specifies capacity.
- Resolution, visual-quality settings, window mode, and later game updates can change performance.
If your PC fails one of the checks
GPU below the GTX 1050 Ti 4 GB
The graphics card is the clearest hardware mismatch because Steam names an exact model and VRAM capacity. For a desktop, a GTX 1050 Ti with 4 GB is the most literal upgrade target, but a newer or faster card may also be suitable if its performance and memory meet or exceed that reference. Because no official alternative-GPU table exists, do not claim compatibility for a specific substitute solely from its product name.
Before buying any card, verify:
- Physical clearance: measure the case length, height, and slot thickness.
- Power supply capacity and required PCIe power connectors.
- Motherboard slot compatibility and available expansion space.
- Display outputs for your monitor.
- Current driver support for your version of Windows.
- Whether the card is new, used, refurbished, or sold with a return policy; condition and pricing vary by seller and date.
Most laptop GPUs cannot be replaced. An external GPU is not an established solution for Warota in the available specifications, and it introduces enclosure, interface, power, and driver considerations. Treat a laptop below the graphics baseline as unconfirmed rather than assuming an external upgrade will solve it.

CPU below the i5-9400
Desktop processors may be replaceable, but the motherboard socket, chipset, firmware support, cooling system, and power delivery determine which upgrades are practical. On a laptop, the processor is normally soldered and not upgradeable. Because Steam provides no official CPU equivalence chart, identify the exact chip before spending money and compare independent technical specifications cautiously.
Less than 8 GB of RAM
Check whether the memory is upgradeable, how many slots are available, and the maximum capacity supported by the motherboard or laptop. A system advertised as 8 GB may have part of that memory reserved for integrated graphics. Adding RAM can improve general multitasking, but it cannot compensate for a GPU that is below the named graphics baseline.
Unsupported Windows edition or 32-bit installation
Confirm that your license and hardware support a 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 installation before planning an operating-system upgrade. Back up personal files, verify application compatibility, and ensure that the PC meets Microsoft’s current installation requirements. Changing from 32-bit to 64-bit generally requires a clean installation rather than a simple toggle.
Laptop-specific checks
Start with the same five requirements, then investigate laptop behavior under load. Connect the AC adapter, select the manufacturer’s performance power mode, and make sure the game is assigned to the discrete GPU when one is present. Keep vents clear and monitor temperatures during any eventual test; a laptop that briefly reaches the required specification can still slow down after sustained play.
Do not use shared system memory as proof of 4 GB dedicated VRAM. dxdiag’s dedicated-memory field is the relevant value. If only “shared memory” is shown for an integrated adapter, the laptop has not demonstrated the required GTX 1050 Ti-class graphics capability.
Steam Deck compatibility and release timing
The free Steam demo listing is dated October 7, 2026, includes full controller support, and marks Steam Deck compatibility as unknown. “Unknown” is not the same as verified, unsupported, or guaranteed to work. Do not buy a Deck specifically for Warota on the assumption that the demo or full game has been certified.

The Steam store page identifies One or Eight and Team EARTHWARS as developers and One or Eight as publisher, with a planned 2026 PC release in the captured listing. A Gematsu report dated September 16, 2026 says the PC version is planned to enter Early Access on November 13, 2026, with a full release planned for PC, PlayStation 5, and Switch 2 in 2027. These are reported plans and can change; check the current store page for the latest date.
The demo and Early Access build may not have identical performance, settings, or compatibility. A successful demo launch would be useful evidence for your own machine, but it would not replace checking the full requirements or guarantee final-release behavior.
Before installing or upgrading: a practical checklist
- Record Windows edition and confirm 64-bit architecture.
- Record the complete CPU model, not only the Core i5/i7 label.
- Confirm at least 8 GB installed RAM and close memory-heavy applications during testing.
- Identify the active GPU and verify dedicated VRAM, not shared memory.
- Run dxdiag and confirm DirectX 11 or later.
- Update Windows and install a current graphics driver appropriate for the GPU.
- Check available storage even though Steam has not published a Warota capacity figure.
- For a desktop upgrade, verify case clearance, power supply, connectors, display outputs, and return terms.
- For a laptop, verify AC power, cooling, and discrete-GPU selection.
- Do not treat Steam Deck support, frame rate, or a specific below-minimum GPU as established without an official statement or your own test.
Troubleshoot a launch failure after the hardware passes
Confirm the game is using the right GPU
On a dual-GPU laptop, check Windows Graphics settings and Task Manager while the game is running. If the integrated adapter is active, assign the game to the high-performance GPU and restart it.

Close competing software
Temporarily close browsers, capture tools, overlays, virtual machines, and other demanding applications. This is especially important on an 8 GB system, where Windows and background programs leave less memory for the game.
Use Steam’s file-verification option
If the game is installed but files are damaged or incomplete, open its Steam library properties and use the installed-files verification command. The exact label can change with Steam updates; choose the option that verifies or repairs installed files, then retry after the process finishes.
Separate compatibility from a game-side bug
If a machine clearly meets every listed minimum and still crashes, record the Windows version, CPU, GPU, VRAM, RAM, DirectX version, driver version, and the exact error. A reproducible failure on compliant hardware may be a game, driver, or Early Access issue rather than proof that your PC is underpowered.

Bottom-line test
Your PC can be called compatible with Warota on paper when it has 64-bit Windows 10 or 11, an Intel Core i5-9400-class-or-better processor, at least 8 GB of RAM, a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti with 4 GB of dedicated VRAM or better, and DirectX 11 or later. Check every item in Windows and dxdiag before deciding. Because recommended specifications and benchmark data are not published, passing this list is a starting point—not a guaranteed frame-rate or Steam Deck verdict.
