Facebook’s Apps and Websites settings show services connected through Facebook Login. Review the list there and disconnect services you no longer use or do not recognize. If Facebook is the only way you sign in to a service you still need, first add or confirm another sign-in method with that service.

What Facebook’s connected-apps list shows

Apps and Websites is the place to review third-party services connected to your Facebook account through Facebook Login. Meta also offers controls for activity businesses and organizations send to Meta, but those controls address a different issue: activity sent to Facebook is not the same thing as a service being linked for sign-in.

Accounts Center brings together some settings and connected experiences across Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Meta accounts. However, Apps and Websites should not be assumed to appear inside Accounts Center for every account or in every region. Meta notes that WhatsApp in Accounts Center is not available everywhere. See Meta’s Accounts Center information.

How to find Apps and Websites

The precise menu labels and locations can vary by Facebook app version and account. A third-party mobile walkthrough published September 22, 2024, gives this route: Facebook app → Menu → Settings → Apps and Websites. Treat it as an orientation rather than a guaranteed current path; if you do not see those labels, search within Facebook settings for “Apps and Websites” or look in the account information and settings area. Meta’s available account-information and settings resources are linked from its help information.

Review and disconnect a service

  1. Open Facebook settings and locate Apps and Websites. Use the settings search or account settings area if the menu path above does not match your app.
  2. Review the connected services. Consider whether you still use each service, whether you recognize and trust it, and whether Facebook is its only sign-in method. These are practical review questions, not a formal risk score.
  3. Check another sign-in method before disconnecting. If you need the service, visit its website or app and add or confirm an email-and-password login or another available sign-in option.
  4. Disconnect services you no longer use or do not recognize. Facebook’s labels and confirmation steps can differ, so follow the controls shown for the selected service rather than relying on a particular button name.

A 2024 third-party walkthrough describes inspecting listed services and disconnecting them, but Meta’s currently surfaced help material does not spell out a complete, universal button-by-button removal flow. See the walkthrough at How to Remove Apps and Websites Connected to Your Facebook Account.

What disconnecting does—and does not establish

Removing a Facebook Login connection should not be treated as deleting information a third-party service already received or stored. The official material available for this guidance does not establish what an individual service retains after disconnection. To request deletion of data held by that service, use its privacy or account controls or contact its developer.

If you are considering deleting your Facebook account instead, check access to services first. Meta says permanent Facebook deletion ends Facebook Login for other apps and websites registered with the account; you may need to contact those services to regain access. See Meta’s Facebook deletion guidance.

Apps and Websites versus Off-Facebook Activity

Off-Facebook Activity concerns information businesses and organizations send to Meta, including through tools such as Facebook Pixel or Facebook Login. Meta provides separate controls to review or clear that activity and to disconnect future activity. Clearing activity does not itself remove a Facebook Login connection; conversely, disconnecting a login is not the same as clearing activity already associated with your Facebook account.

In its August 20, 2019 announcement, Meta said, “If you clear your history, we’ll remove your identifying information from the data that apps and websites choose to send us.” That statement concerns Off-Facebook Activity and does not promise deletion of information held by the third party or describe what happens when an individual login connection is removed.
