Why lazy-loaded images can be missing
Some webpages load images only when they approach the visible part of the screen. A full-page capture can include content beyond the current viewport, but that does not by itself establish that every off-screen image has loaded before the screenshot is taken. FireShot documents entire-page capture, including portions not visible without scrolling; its reviewed listings do not specify how lazy loading is handled.
FireShot’s Chrome Web Store listing, Pro manual, Google Chrome Web Store listing, and official product page describe capture capabilities, but do not document automatic scrolling or waiting for lazy-loaded images. Behavior may vary by website and extension version.
Capture a full page in FireShot
- Open the webpage and give its initial content time to settle.
- Scroll downward through the page in sections. Pause when images appear near the viewport, allowing them time to load. Continue to the bottom if you need a complete-page capture.
- Return to the top of the webpage.
- Open FireShot and choose its entire-page capture option. The label may vary by extension version; FireShot documents capture of the entire page, including areas that are not visible without scrolling.
- Save the capture in the format you need, then inspect it from top to bottom.
The formats documented vary across the reviewed listings and manual. The Chrome Web Store listing names PDF, PNG, and JPEG; FireShot’s Pro manual also lists GIF and BMP. Availability can depend on the edition or version.

Check and repair a screenshot with missing images
Review the saved image or PDF, especially sections that were initially off-screen. If an image is blank or absent, return to that section in the webpage, wait for the image to appear, then make another full-page capture. FireShot’s reviewed documentation does not provide a specific repair procedure for missed lazy-loaded images, so treat this as a practical retry rather than a guaranteed fix.
