For a portrait image matching the Nothing Phone (2)’s display dimensions, the target is 1080 × 2412 pixels. To capture what you are viewing on the phone, use its built-in screenshot buttons; for a longer page, try Capture more. If the file must be exactly 1080 × 2412, check its dimensions and crop or resize a copy as needed—Nothing does not promise that every screenshot mode exports at the panel’s exact resolution.

Choose the kind of capture you need

Goal Best method Important limitation
Record the webpage as it appears on the phone now Take a standard screenshot on the Phone (2). The screenshot records the displayed view, which can include browser and system interface elements.
Include more of a page than fits onscreen Take a screenshot, then use Capture more if Android offers it. Expanded capture is available on most, not all, scrollable screens.
Deliver an image with exact dimensions Capture the page, inspect the saved image, then crop or resize a copy to 1080 × 2412 pixels. The display specification does not guarantee that every capture mode produces a file of that size.
Show a moving interaction Use the built-in Screen Record tile in Quick Settings. This produces a video, not a still image.

What resolution should you use?

Nothing lists the Phone (2) display as 1080 × 2412 pixels in its support specifications. The international product page gives the same portrait dimensions in reverse order—2412 × 1080 pixels—and lists a density of 394 ppi. Those are display specifications, not a guarantee of the dimensions of a saved screenshot.

For a portrait deliverable, use 1080 pixels wide by 2412 pixels tall as the target. A landscape capture would reverse those axes. A native screenshot is the simplest way to show the site as rendered on the device, but orientation, visible browser controls, status-bar treatment, and expanded capture can affect the saved image. Check the file’s image properties before sending it wherever exact dimensions matter.

Capture the visible webpage on the Phone (2)

  1. Open the website in a browser on your Phone (2) and position the page at the content you want to show.
  2. Press Power and Volume Down at the same time.
  3. Review the screenshot preview, or open the Screenshots album in Google Photos to find, edit, or share it.

The Phone (2) user guide documents the Power-and-Volume-Down shortcut and says screenshots are saved in the screenshot album in Google Photos. The guide is hosted by Croma, rather than Nothing’s own site: Phone (2) User Guide.

Capture more of a long webpage

  1. Take a standard screenshot with Power + Volume Down.
  2. If Capture more appears in the screenshot controls, tap it.
  3. Drag the crop guides to include the additional page content you need, then save the result.

Google says scrolling screenshots are available on Android 12 and later on most screens that allow scrolling, not every screen. The option may be absent for a particular webpage or browser state. If it does not appear, use multiple screenshots or capture the page in a browser-based workflow and assemble or crop the result separately. Expanded captures can be taller than the display’s 2412-pixel portrait height, so inspect the resulting file if your delivery specification is strict.

Make the output exactly 1080 × 2412 pixels

  1. Take the standard screenshot or expanded capture that best represents the page.
  2. Open the saved image’s details or properties and check its pixel dimensions.
  3. If the image does not match 1080 × 2412, crop or resize a copy with an image editor, preserving the original if you may need to revisit the framing.
  4. Before delivery, confirm the copy is 1080 pixels wide and 2412 pixels tall and that the crop has not cut off important content.

Cropping preserves the scale of the remaining pixels but removes content at the edges; resizing changes the pixel dimensions and may affect sharpness or proportions. Choose based on whether the final file must retain all content or match a fixed canvas. The cited device specifications and capture guides do not establish a universal exported-file size or prescribe an editor.

Record a moving demonstration instead

For a video showing scrolling or interaction, Nothing’s support directions use the Screen Record tile in Quick Settings. If the tile is hidden, open the Quick Settings edit control and add it. Nothing says the saved recording can be found in Google Photos under Library > Movies. A recording is not a substitute when the recipient specifically needs a still image.

Or skip the browser setup

For a browser-rendered website image without manually preparing a capture environment, ScreenshotNeo offers a one-request screenshot API. Its API accepts a URL and returns an image or PDF; output dimensions can be requested through the API options. See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for parameters and response details.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

For example, this cURL request captures a page as WebP:

curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp

Replace the sample URL and YOUR_API_KEY with your target page and API key. ScreenshotNeo removes known consent banners, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before capture; each cleanup step can be turned off. Bot checks, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits cost nothing, with the outcome identified in response headers. It also provides an MCP server with screenshot tools for AI agents, and includes 1,000 screenshots a month free without a card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 shots. These are website captures, not a guarantee of a pixel-for-pixel reproduction of the Phone (2)’s on-device browser chrome.

Sign up for ScreenshotNeo’s free plan: 1,000 screenshots a month with no card.

Troubleshooting

  • The screenshot shortcut did not work: press Power and Volume Down simultaneously. If the buttons are difficult to coordinate, use the phone’s screenshot control if available in the interface.
  • Capture more is missing: Android offers scrolling capture on most compatible scrollable screens, not all of them. Try a different page state, take multiple screenshots, or use a separate page-capture workflow.
  • The image is not 1080 × 2412: the screen specification is not an exported-file guarantee. Check the saved image and crop or resize a copy to the required dimensions.
  • The screenshot shows browser controls or system bars: a native screenshot records what is displayed. Adjust the page and interface before capture, or crop the saved image if those elements should not appear.
  • You need motion rather than a still: use Screen Record from Quick Settings; the resulting file is a video stored in Google Photos under Library > Movies.
