How to Capture a Webpage Screenshot in Hindi: Urlbox’s Documented CLI Method

Urlbox’s official materials document a command-line interface (CLI) and an API—not a Chrome extension or a Hindi-language extension workflow. You can still follow these instructions in Hindi: use the Urlbox CLI to save a webpage screenshot as a PNG, or use its full-page option to capture the entire scrolling page. Hindi instructions here do not mean that Urlbox’s interface is available in Hindi.

Choose what you need to capture

• Visible viewport: captures the page area shown at the selected viewport size.
• Full page: captures the scrollable page. In Urlbox, request this with full_page: true; the CLI quickstart uses --full-page.
• One element: targets a page element using a CSS selector passed as selector in an API request. The documented CLI quickstart does not show an element-capture command.

Urlbox documents URL and HTML inputs, common image output formats, and a default viewport of 1280 by 1024 pixels. Available output and capture settings depend on the request you make; see the Urlbox render-options reference.

Capture a full webpage with the Urlbox CLI

This is a terminal workflow, not a Chrome-extension workflow. The official quickstart documents the following install, sign-in, and capture commands: Urlbox CLI quickstart.

1. Install the CLI: Open a terminal and run npm install -g @urlbox/cli. This requires npm to be installed and available in your terminal.
2. Sign in: Run urlbox login and approve the browser sign-in.
3. Capture the page: Run urlbox screenshot https://example.com --full-page --output page.png, replacing https://example.com with the page URL you want to capture.
4. Find the result: The command saves page.png in the current folder unless you choose a different output location.

For a capture of the page without the full-page option, omit --full-page. The quickstart does not establish a separate Chrome extension or extension controls.

Adjust a full-page capture when needed

Stitched or native capture

Urlbox’s documented default full-page mode is stitch: it scrolls through page sections and combines the resulting captures. The docs describe native as the faster alternative, with the trade-off that it may be less accurate on some websites. These are API settings; the CLI quickstart command above does not show a mode flag. See Urlbox’s screenshot documentation.

Lazy-loaded content

The default initial scroll helps trigger lazy-loaded content and determine the page’s final height. Setting skip_scroll: true disables that step and can shorten render time, but content that loads only when scrolled into view may not appear.

Long, wide, or infinite pages

• Use max_height when you need to limit capture height.
• Use scroll_to to set a starting offset.
• Use full_width for pages that need horizontal scrolling.
• Use allow_infinite when handling an infinite-scroll page.

These options are documented for Urlbox capture requests; choose them only when the page layout calls for them. The render-options reference describes the available settings: Urlbox render options.

Capture a specific element with a CSS selector

Urlbox’s screenshot docs describe element-specific capture using a CSS selector passed as selector. To find a selector in Chrome, right-click the element you want and choose Inspect. In DevTools’ Elements tab, right-click the highlighted element and choose Copy > Copy selector. Use that selector in your Urlbox API request. Selectors can be tied to a page’s markup, so if the page changes, check that the selector still identifies the intended element.

Troubleshooting

• The command is not found: Confirm the global npm install completed, then open a new terminal session and try urlbox again.
• Authentication does not complete: Run urlbox login again and approve the browser sign-in it opens.
• The screenshot contains only the visible area: Add --full-page to the CLI command.
• Lazy-loaded items are missing: Avoid disabling the initial scroll with skip_scroll: true; the default scroll can trigger content that loads as the page moves.
• A full-page result is inaccurate on a particular site: The docs say native mode can be less accurate on some websites. If configuring an API request, compare it with the default stitch mode.
• Your element capture selects the wrong content: Inspect the page again and copy a selector for the intended element; confirm the selector against the page’s current structure.
