Save the screenshot locally to avoid uploading the image over a slow connection. Nimbus cannot capture page content your browser has not received and rendered.
Choose the capture mode based on what has loaded

Nimbus’s vendor tutorial documents these modes and the sequence of capturing, editing, then saving or sharing. It also says a stable internet connection and a supported browser are prerequisites for successful Nimbus Capture work. That does not establish that every capture operation requires an active connection after installation, so do not rely on Nimbus as an offline-capture guarantee. Capture and save locally
- Open the page in your browser and wait for the specific text, image, or section you want to preserve. A spinner, blank area, or broken image is a sign that the corresponding content may not have arrived.
- Open Nimbus Screenshot and select Entire page if the whole page is ready and useful. Otherwise, choose Visible part of page or Selected area to capture only content already displayed.
- Review the capture for missing content before saving. A screenshot cannot include page elements that did not load into the browser.
- Choose a local save option, such as JPG or PNG where available. Local saving avoids a separate upload for the screenshot file; it does not make the original website load faster. Nimbus’s Firefox add-on listing describes local JPG/PNG saving and PDF output, but its listed release is version 15.6.9, last updated July 31, 2020, so confirm available options in your installed extension. Save a page for offline reading before you lose the connection
If you need to read the webpage later without internet, save the page while still connected. Chrome Help says, “You must be online to save a page,” and explains that a saved page can then be opened from a local file. A screenshot preserves an image of the page; an offline page is a separate browser feature. Read pages later & offline — Computer.
When the page times out or will not load
A screenshot extension does not repair a slow connection or a busy website. Chrome identifies a connection that is too slow or a site that is busy as possible causes of ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT. Try reloading when possible and check whether other sites also fail. If the browser or device is struggling, pause large downloads and close unnecessary tabs, extensions, or apps. Fix connection errors.

- Only part of the page appears: capture the visible or selected portion if it contains what you need; wait longer before attempting an entire-page capture.
- An image or section is blank: wait for it to load, then capture again. The capture cannot recover content the browser never received.
- The page does not open: troubleshoot the connection or try again later; switching screenshot modes will not fix a timeout.
- You have lost connectivity: do not expect Chrome to save the page for offline reading after the fact. That save must be made while online.
