Select the subscription plan using the product page’s own controls, verify that the plan name and any displayed price or billing interval have updated, then capture the page. For a repeatable flow, automate the selection and screenshot in a browser; for a one-off, use your browser or operating system’s screenshot controls.
Capture the selected plan in five steps

Open the product page and bring the plan selector and relevant plan details into view.

Select the intended subscription plan using the page’s controls.

Verify the visible result. Check the selected indicator and any plan name, price, billing interval, or confirmation text the page shows. A click alone does not confirm that the choice registered.

If the selection updates the page asynchronously or navigates elsewhere, wait until the relevant state appears before capturing. Browser automation can wait for a page-load state or a specific page condition before taking a screenshot; see Playwright’s Page API.

Frame the page so the selected plan and enough surrounding product context are legible. Use a normal viewport capture if everything important fits, a full-page capture if details are below the fold, or an element capture when only one component is needed. Save the image in the format your capture method provides.
Choose a capture method
Manual capture for a one-off
Use the screenshot control provided by your browser or operating system after confirming the selected state. The exact controls and shortcuts depend on the device and software, so use their current help or menus rather than assuming one universal keyboard shortcut. Keep the original image and enough page context for another person to identify the state it records.

Playwright for a repeatable browser flow
Playwright supports page navigation and screenshot saving, along with full-page and element screenshots. Its documentation describes the capture options in Screenshots and page navigation, waiting, and screenshot methods in the Page API. The key sequence is to load the product page, interact with its plan controls, verify the resulting page state, wait for any delayed update, and then capture. The exact selector and interaction depend on the site being tested; do not assume the same plan controls or labels across product pages.

Persistent browser session for multi-step interactions
If the flow needs an existing browser session, a vendor example is Capture.page Browser Sessions, whose documentation describes navigating, clicking, selecting, waiting, querying the page, and capturing within a persistent session. It is one documented option, not a requirement for this task.
Extension for area selection or annotations
A browser extension can be useful if you specifically need a selected region or annotations. Capture by RATdeck describes visible-screen and select-area capture and annotation features on its product page; confirm current availability and features there before relying on them.

Troubleshooting
The screenshot shows the wrong plan
Confirm that the page’s selected indicator, plan name, and displayed price or billing period reflect the intended choice before capturing. If the change is delayed, wait for the updated state rather than relying on the click having fired.
The capture happens before the page updates
Use a wait tied to the expected page-load state or visible updated content, then take the screenshot. Playwright documents page-load waiting in its Page API; for a multi-step live interaction, persistent-session workflows are described in Capture.page’s documentation.
The price or plan details are missing from the image
Adjust the framing: include more of the page, use a full-page capture when the details are below the fold, or capture the relevant element. Check that the text remains legible at the resulting image size.
The screenshot lacks context
Expand the capture beyond the plan component to include enough of the product page to identify what the selected state belongs to. For documentation or a bug report, preserve the original capture rather than cropping away context that may matter.
