To capture a webpage from top to bottom on Ubuntu, use Firefox’s Take Screenshot feature and choose Save full page. Ubuntu’s desktop screenshot tool captures the screen, a window, or a selected area; it does not replace Firefox’s full-document webpage capture.
Capture a full webpage in Firefox

Open the webpage in Firefox and wait for the content you need to document to appear.

Open the page context menu and choose Take Screenshot.

Choose Save full page to capture content beyond the visible browser window. Choose Save visible only if you need the current viewport.

Download the image. Give it a descriptive filename that identifies the page or procedure.

Review the saved image before publishing. Check that it contains the intended content and does not include menus, transient overlays, or unrelated browser UI.

Use Firefox Developer Tools if the menu option is unavailable
Firefox Developer Tools has a full-page screenshot control. If you do not see the screenshot button, enable it in Developer Tools settings under Available Toolbox Buttons. Capture a full page from the Web Console
For a repeatable, command-based workflow, Firefox’s Web Console provides a screenshot helper with the --fullpage option. Enter this in the Web Console:
:screenshot --fullpageThe option captures content beyond the browser window’s current bounds. Mozilla documents additional options, including a filename, delay, device pixel ratio, and CSS selector, in its Web Console helpers reference.
