Use your phone’s scrolling-capture control, not a series of ordinary screenshots. On an iPhone, take a screenshot, tap its preview, and choose Full Page (Apple documents this for webpages such as Safari pages). On Android 12 and later, take a screenshot and tap Capture more on a screen that supports scrolling. On Samsung Galaxy devices, use Scroll capture in the screenshot toolbar.
“Mobile form factor” can mean a page in a mobile browser, an embedded web form, or a native app. Availability depends on the operating-system version, phone model, manufacturer interface, and the particular screen. The controls below are therefore the supported paths—not a promise that every app can produce one tall image.

A normal screenshot contains only the visible display. A full-height capture extends the selection below the initial viewport while the operating system stitches the result for you.
Capture a full page on iPhone
1. Open the content
Open the webpage or form in Safari and position it where you want the capture to begin. Apple’s documented full-page example is a webpage; do not assume that a native app, embedded browser, or protected screen exposes the same option.

2. Take the screenshot
- On a Face ID iPhone, quickly press and release the Side button and Volume Up together.
- On an iPhone with a Home button, quickly press and release the Side button and Home together.
A thumbnail appears briefly in the lower-left corner.
3. Switch from screen to full page
- Tap the screenshot thumbnail before it disappears.
- At the top of the editor, tap Full Page.
- Drag the preview to inspect the portion below the first screen. Use the crop handles if you need only part of the page.
- Add markup if required, then tap the share or save control.
Apple’s guide describes saving screenshots to the Photos library. Review the entire tall image before sending it: a long form can include names, addresses, account identifiers, or answers that were below the fold.
If “Full Page” is missing
The current app or screen may not support Apple’s full-page mode. Try the same page in Safari if it is a web page, and check whether a privacy-restricted view is blocking capture. If the option still does not appear, take consecutive screenshots with a small overlap or record a screen video while scrolling. Those are workarounds, not a single stitched full-height image.
Capture a scrolling screenshot on Android 12 and later
1. Open a scrollable screen
Display the webpage, form, or document and make sure additional content exists below the visible area. Google documents the following process for devices running Android 12 and up “on most screens that allow you to scroll.”

- Press Power and Volume Down together.
- When the screenshot controls appear, tap Capture more at the bottom.
- Drag the crop guidelines to include the required height. You can extend the selection through the rest of the page or stop at a specific section.
- Save or share the result.
Google says the capture is available in Photos under Collections > On this device > Screenshots. On older phones that do not use Photos, look in Gallery > Albums > Screenshots.

If Android does not show “Capture more”
That control is not guaranteed on every Android release, handset, browser, or app. Confirm the phone is running Android 12 or newer, try a different scrollable page, and consult the manufacturer’s support instructions if the button or key combination differs. A protected screen may deliberately disable screenshots. For a form you must document, use several overlapping screenshots or a screen recording and label the result as a workaround.
Use Scroll capture on a Samsung Galaxy phone
Show the screenshot toolbar
If the scrolling button is absent, open Settings > Advanced features > Screenshots and screen recorder and enable Show toolbar after capturing. Samsung’s regional instructions use Screen capture instead of the full “Screenshots and screen recorder” label on some models that do not include a screen recorder.
Extend the capture
- Open the scrollable page or form.
- Press Power/Side and Volume Down together.
- Tap Scroll capture in the toolbar. The icon may look like downward arrows.
- Continue tapping the control, or press and hold it, to move farther down the page.
- Tap outside the toolbar when the image reaches the required point.
Samsung saves the result to Gallery. The captured length can vary with the content. Samsung also cautions that available screens and functions differ by model, software version, and carrier, and that some apps or screens block screenshots for privacy or security.

Native apps and embedded forms
A mobile browser page may support a long capture while the same form inside a native app does not. An app can expose its own export or sharing command, restrict screenshots, or render content in a way the operating system cannot extend. Do not treat the absence of a button as a fault with your phone.
Dynamic content and lazy loading
Long pages may change while you extend the capture. Images can load late, validation messages can appear, and a form may move when the keyboard opens. Dismiss the keyboard, wait for the page to finish loading, and return to the top before starting. For a multi-step form, capture each step separately rather than expecting one image to include screens that are not simultaneously present.

Privacy and security
Read the complete image before sharing it. Full-height captures can expose fields that were not visible in the original thumbnail, including personal data, one-time codes, payment details, or internal notes. Crop or redact sensitive areas with the built-in editor. If a banking, password, streaming, or enterprise app blocks capture, use its approved export or support workflow instead of trying to bypass the restriction.
When the built-in feature is unavailable
- Try the manufacturer’s instructions: Android interfaces differ, and Samsung’s labels vary by model and software.
- Use overlapping stills: Capture each viewport with a common landmark so the images can be ordered later. This produces multiple files, not one true full-height image.
- Record a scroll: A screen recording preserves the sequence when a stitched image is impossible, but it is less convenient for printing or annotation.
- Use a desktop browser or web-capture service: This is useful when you own the URL and need a repeatable mobile viewport rather than a screenshot of a private app.

Troubleshooting checklist
The capture stops at the first screen
Check that the page actually scrolls in the same container you are capturing. An inner panel may scroll while the outer page does not. On Android, “Capture more” is limited to supported scrollable screens; on Samsung, use Scroll capture repeatedly to extend the image.

The long image is missing images or text
Wait for content to load before starting. Expand accordions and dismiss the keyboard. If the page loads sections only after interaction, capture each state separately or use a web API that can wait for a selector, delay, or network idle.
The result is too long or contains unwanted data
Stop the extension control at the required point, crop in the screenshot editor, and inspect every section before sharing. For API captures, use an element selector or hide selectors to limit the output.
The screenshot is blocked
Privacy and security policies can prevent capture in banking, password, streaming, and enterprise apps. Use the service’s export function or an approved desktop workflow. Do not attempt to defeat a deliberate restriction.
The API request returns a non-image response
Check the URL encoding, access key, timeout, and response status. Inspect X-Page-Verdict and X-Billed to determine whether the page was a bot check, blank result, timeout, failed load, cache hit, or clean shot. Increase waits or supply required cookies and headers when the page needs them.

Can I make one tall screenshot of an entire multi-page form?
No. A scrolling capture covers content present in one scrollable page. A wizard with separate steps must be captured step by step unless the site provides an export.
Does a full-height screenshot include content hidden behind a closed accordion?
Usually not. Expand sections and reveal the content before starting, or capture each state separately.
Will a scrolling screenshot preserve clickable form fields?
No. The result is a flat image. Keep the original page or form if you need an interactive copy.
What should I do before publishing a captured form?
Inspect the entire image, crop or redact personal and confidential data, and confirm that sharing the page is permitted.
