Buy flying vehicles through the in-game iFruit Internet, then use the correct property and delivery service for that vehicle. Elitas Travel lists aircraft, while Warstock Cache & Carry lists military, weaponized and special flying vehicles. Most personal aircraft require an owned Hangar for storage and workshop access. The Oppressor Mk II is the exception readers most often miss: it can be stored anywhere, but customization is available only in a Terrorbyte Specialized Vehicle Workshop.
This guide explains the purchase path, storage rules, delivery options, flight modes, workshops, VTOL controls and a practical way to choose between a flying car, rocket motorcycle, helicopter, jet or Avenger.

What counts as a flying car or aircraft in GTA Online?
GTA Online divides airborne travel into several useful categories rather than one single vehicle class. Your choice affects where you shop, where the vehicle is stored and how it is requested later.

What you need before buying
GTA$ in your character’s account
Rockstar’s starter guidance says GTA$ is the currency used for in-game purchases. Hold enough GTA$ before opening the order screen. Vehicle prices, trade prices and discounts can change, so read the live price and any requirement shown in the listing rather than relying on an old video or price list.

Access to the in-game Internet
Open the Internet application on the iFruit phone. Rockstar describes this Internet as the place where players purchase vehicles and properties. You do not buy these vehicles from a real-world browser or from a mission menu.
The right property for the vehicle
An owned Hangar is the central aircraft property. It provides aircraft storage and, after the appropriate workshop upgrade, aircraft-related customization options. Do not confirm an aircraft purchase until you know which Hangar will receive it. Special vehicles can use different storage rules; the Oppressor Mk II follows the Terrorbyte workshop path for customization.
How to buy a flying vehicle, step by step
- Earn or hold GTA$. Confirm your balance before starting the purchase. The amount required is the current amount displayed by the retailer, not an assumed historical price.
- Open the iFruit phone. Select the Internet and enter the vehicle-shopping section.
- Choose the retailer. Select Elitas Travel for aircraft listings. Select Warstock Cache & Carry for military, weaponized and special flying vehicles, including the Oppressor Mk II and the Deluxo listing when available there.
- Read the listing details. Check the displayed storage, property and upgrade requirements. Look for a Hangar requirement on personal aircraft and the Terrorbyte workshop requirement for Mk II customization.
- Choose a storage location when prompted. If the vehicle is a personal aircraft, select an owned Hangar with available capacity. If the purchase screen identifies a special storage rule, follow that rule instead of assuming the Hangar is used.
- Confirm the transaction. The game deducts GTA$ and records the vehicle. Save or leave the menu normally so the purchase can finish registering.
- Request the vehicle from the correct menu. Rockstar’s starter instructions point to the Mechanic for personal-vehicle delivery. Rockstar’s Oppressor announcement specifies Interaction Menu delivery for both the Mk II and the Terrorbyte. Use the option associated with the vehicle you bought.
Where each type is bought
Elitas Travel: aircraft listings
Use Elitas Travel when you are shopping for conventional aircraft. Jets and helicopters are presented as aircraft purchases, and their normal personal-aircraft storage is an owned Hangar. The listing is also the place to check the current model description and any displayed requirement before spending GTA$.
Warstock Cache & Carry: military and special flying vehicles
Warstock is the relevant retailer for military, weaponized and special vehicles. The Oppressor Mk II and flying-car choices belong to this style of catalogue. Because these vehicles can have exceptional storage or workshop rules, read the purchase screen instead of applying the standard aircraft workflow blindly.

How to use the Imponte Deluxo
Rockstar’s vehicle guide identifies the Imponte Deluxo as a flying vehicle. Treat it as a dual-mode car: drive normally when roads are convenient, then change to its flight mode when you need to clear terrain, gain vertical movement or travel over land without following the road network.
Switching from road travel to flight
- Get into the Deluxo and move to an open area where a mode change is safe.
- Use the vehicle-mode control shown in your current platform’s Controls settings. Bindings can differ by platform and can be changed by the game, so do not rely on a universal button from an older guide.
- Allow room above and around the vehicle before accelerating. Buildings, bridges and power lines can obstruct a low transition.
- Return to ground mode when you need ordinary road handling or a stable parking position.
The official guidance confirms the vehicle category, but it does not provide one universal control mapping. If the mode does not change, open the current Controls screen, verify the vehicle aircraft-mode binding and test again in a quiet location.
How to use the Oppressor Mk II
The Oppressor Mk II is a flying motorcycle designed for rapid point-to-point movement. Rockstar describes its rocket-boost functionality and gives it a distinct storage and customization workflow.

The Mk II can be stored anywhere, according to Rockstar’s Oppressor announcement. It is nevertheless exclusively customizable in the Specialized Vehicle Workshop of a Terrorbyte. Owning the motorcycle alone does not give you a place to apply its workshop upgrades. If the customization option is missing, check that you are inside the Terrorbyte’s Specialized Vehicle Workshop rather than a Hangar or another garage.

Requesting the Mk II
Open the Interaction Menu and use the vehicle-delivery option Rockstar specifies for the Mk II. The same announcement also identifies Interaction Menu delivery for the Terrorbyte. If the delivery entry is unavailable, check that the vehicle is not already active, destroyed, impounded or otherwise unavailable, then move to a suitable open location and try the menu again.
Using the boost effectively
Use the rocket boost for long crossings and short bursts between obstacles. Plan the route before boosting: a fast approach does not remove the need for clearance around buildings, terrain and other players. When you need workshop changes, return to the Terrorbyte rather than attempting to modify the bike in a standard garage.
Buying and using jets and helicopters
Purchase and Hangar storage
Buy jets and helicopters through the aircraft retailer and keep personal aircraft in an owned Hangar. The Hangar is more than a parking space: it is the property Rockstar associates with aircraft management and workshop functionality.
Calling a personal aircraft
Rockstar’s starter guide directs players to the Mechanic for personal-vehicle delivery. Use the delivery service available for the aircraft and location shown by your current game interface. If the aircraft is not listed, verify that it was stored in the intended Hangar and that the Mechanic service is available in the session.

Choosing between a jet and a helicopter
- Choose a jet when your priority is aircraft-style map traversal and you have space to operate at higher speed.
- Choose a helicopter when hovering, controlled positioning or access to tighter landing areas matters more than fixed-wing flight.
- Choose a VTOL aircraft when you want aircraft performance with vertical takeoff and landing, provided you learn its current mode control.
VTOL aircraft: Hydra and current controls
Rockstar’s title-update notes document a VTOL activation-button update for all planes and specifically mention Hydra and P-996 Lazer cannon adjustments. That means a control instruction copied from an old platform guide may be wrong for your current setup.
How to find the correct VTOL control
- Enter the aircraft and open the game’s current pause-menu Controls section.
- Select the aircraft or vehicle controls category and locate the VTOL, hover or flight-mode binding shown for your platform.
- Memorize or rebind the displayed action if the default conflicts with another control.
- Test the transition at altitude and away from buildings, then return to normal flight before landing.
There is no single button that can be stated safely for every current platform and control layout. The on-screen binding is the authoritative instruction for your installation.
Using the Avenger
Rockstar’s update notes state that the Avenger can be purchased without first owning a Facility. After purchase, it can be stored in an owned Hangar. This removes a common prerequisite mistake: a Facility is not required merely to buy the Avenger.

Install the relevant Hangar Workshop upgrade before expecting Hangar-based aircraft customization. Rockstar documents Hangar workshop upgrades, including the Mk II Weapon Workshop. The exact options shown depend on the property and upgrades currently installed, so inspect the Hangar’s workshop screen after installation.

Hangar storage, workshops and Flight School
What an owned Hangar provides
- Storage for personal aircraft.
- Access to Hangar workshop functionality after purchasing the applicable upgrade.
- A property-based place to organize aircraft instead of relying only on delivery menus.
- An additional Flight School entry point, which Rockstar’s update notes say is available in owned Hangars.

Use the following decision framework before opening a retailer. It focuses on the practical differences Rockstar’s guidance establishes rather than unverifiable current prices.

Delivery and storage troubleshooting
The aircraft is not in the Mechanic list
- Confirm that the purchase completed and that the aircraft was assigned to your owned Hangar.
- Check whether the aircraft uses a special delivery method rather than the standard Mechanic service.
- Move to a safe, open location and retry the request.
- End any active personal vehicle request before making another one.
The Oppressor Mk II does not appear in the Interaction Menu
- Verify that you own the Mk II and that it is not already active elsewhere.
- Use the Interaction Menu delivery entry identified for the Mk II rather than the aircraft-only request path.
- Check whether the vehicle is destroyed, impounded or unavailable in the current session, then try again after resolving that status.
The customization screen is missing
- For the Oppressor Mk II, enter the Terrorbyte Specialized Vehicle Workshop. A Hangar workshop cannot substitute for it.
- For aircraft and the Avenger, confirm that the Hangar Workshop upgrade is installed and that the aircraft is stored in that Hangar.
- Read the current vehicle prompt for any additional requirement before paying for an upgrade.
VTOL will not activate
- Open the current platform Controls menu while the aircraft is available.
- Locate the VTOL or flight-mode action and note its present binding.
- Rebind it if necessary, then test in open air with adequate clearance.
- If the action still fails, return to the Hangar, leave and re-enter the aircraft, and verify the setting again.
How to practice safely
Use the Flight School entry point available from an owned Hangar to build aircraft familiarity before taking an expensive vehicle into a crowded session. Practice mode changes at altitude, controlled approaches and landings in an open area. For a Deluxo, rehearse switching between road and flight modes. For a VTOL aircraft, practice the transition and return to normal flight before attempting a landing. For the Oppressor Mk II, practice boost timing and Interaction Menu delivery so a failed request does not interrupt a longer activity.

- Correct retailer selected: Elitas Travel for aircraft, Warstock Cache & Carry for military or special flying vehicles.
- Storage requirement read before confirming.
