For the commonly documented route, deposit USDC from Arbitrum through Hyperliquid’s Deposit flow and keep ETH on Arbitrum to pay the source-chain gas. If your USDC is on another network, use a bridge or exchange withdrawal only after confirming that the exact asset and route are supported. Then check Portfolio → Deposits & Withdrawals to verify what happened; a Hyperliquid Send is not an external withdrawal.
Do you need a bridge to get assets onto Hyperliquid?
Not necessarily. Hyperliquid’s onboarding guide describes USDC deposits from Arbitrum, direct deposits using other supported assets and networks, and routes involving centralized exchanges or cross-chain services. The right choice depends on where your asset is now and what the current deposit interface supports for your account. [Hyperliquid onboarding guide]
Match both the token and the network shown in the live deposit flow. An asset symbol by itself is not enough to route a transfer safely: the same symbol may exist on multiple networks, while deposit methods may support different combinations. Use the asset, network, and destination displayed for the method you intend to use rather than assuming every documented asset works through every address.
How to deposit USDC from Arbitrum
- In Hyperliquid, open Deposit and confirm that USDC on Arbitrum is available for your connected EVM wallet.
- Make sure the source wallet contains both USDC and ETH on Arbitrum. ETH is needed to submit the deposit transaction; Hyperliquid describes trading itself as gas-free.
- Enter the deposit amount and confirm the transaction in your connected wallet.
- After submitting, check the transaction record in Portfolio → Deposits & Withdrawals. If the transfer is not reflected as expected, verify the token, network, destination, and transaction status before trying again.

How to move USDC from another network
If your USDC is not on Arbitrum, possible routes described by Hyperliquid include a bridge to Arbitrum, a centralized exchange withdrawal to Arbitrum if the exchange supports it, and CCTP transfers from other chains in relevant cases. These options are not guarantees that a particular provider, token, or route is available at the time you transfer.
- Confirm that the bridge or exchange supports the exact source and destination networks and token.
- Review the provider’s live quote, fees, and estimated delivery time before signing. Include source-chain gas and any exchange withdrawal charge when comparing total cost.
- Check that you control the displayed destination and note whether the service provides a transaction hash or status page.
Hyperliquid’s documentation does not establish one universal fee or delivery time for all routes. Costs depend on the selected method and current network conditions, so use the live provider quote rather than relying on a fixed figure.

Can you deposit assets other than USDC?
Hyperliquid’s onboarding material lists different assets for different deposit paths. Examples include BTC on Bitcoin; ETH and ENA on Ethereum; SOL and other assets on Solana; MON on Monad; XPL on Plasma; and AVAX on Avalanche and ZEC on Zcash in more recently updated sections. It also describes USDC on multiple networks for email-wallet deposits. Availability varies by method, so check the asset and network actually presented in your account’s deposit interface. How to verify a withdrawal or find a missing transfer
- Open Portfolio and review the Deposits & Withdrawals table.
- Read the Action column. A record such as “Send Spot” or “Send USDC (Perps Wallet)” is a Send action; “Withdrawal” identifies an external withdrawal.
- If it is a Send, understand that the transfer went to another account on the Hyperliquid blockchain, not to another blockchain. Hyperliquid’s support page states: “Send is used to send tokens to another account on the Hyperliquid blockchain. It is not to withdraw to another blockchain.”
- If it is a Withdrawal, check the status. For Pending, use the estimate shown in the withdrawal modal; congestion can delay processing. For Completed, open the explorer link next to the timestamp and confirm the destination address. For Failed, contact the service team responsible for that asset route; Hyperliquid’s support page identifies the Unit team for BTC, ETH, and SOL deposit and withdrawal issues.
These checks follow Hyperliquid’s deposit and withdrawal troubleshooting guidance. If a transaction is absent or looks wrong, compare its recorded action and status with the route you intended before sending more funds.

What if you sent an unsupported asset to an email wallet?
Hyperliquid documents a key-export path for this situation, but it does not guarantee that every mistaken deposit or token can be recovered. Log in using the same email address, choose Export Email Wallet in settings, copy the private key through the prompt, and import it into a wallet extension. Treat the exported key as highly sensitive: anyone who has it can access the wallet’s funds. Hyperliquid’s guide advises keeping private keys and recovery phrases secure.
