There is no evidence-based number of rerolls that everyone should complete in Last Cloudia. Stop when you have a current target Unit and at least one useful Ark, or when the account already looks enjoyable to you. If a roll meets that standard on the first attempt, start the story; if it does not, repeat the account reset and summon process until it does. Chasing a mathematically perfect opening has no established endpoint and can delay the game you actually want to play.
That advice matters because an Ark can be as valuable as, or more valuable than, an individual Unit. Arks can be equipped on different Units and teach skills, so judge the complete opening roster rather than counting top-rarity characters alone.
Why a fixed reroll number does not exist
Rerolling means completing the opening sequence, spending the initial summon currency, and resetting the account when the results do not meet your target. The number of attempts needed depends on the banner available when you play, the rewards attached to that launch period, your target, and how much time you are willing to spend. None of the cited guidance establishes that 10, 20, 50, or 100 attempts is universally optimal.
The Steam Community guide that popularized repeating the transfer/reset process was posted in September 2022. Its practical principle is still useful—repeat until you obtain the desired Unit or Ark—but its menu names and exact sequence may no longer match the current client. Treat it as a rationale for a stopping rule, not as a promise that a specific number of cycles is correct.
Tier-list advice is also temporary. Pocket Gamer’s list was updated on October 17, 2026 for version 7.6.0, and live banners can change independently of that snapshot. A reroll target that made sense on one banner may be unavailable or less useful on the next. Check the summons shown in your own game before beginning a new session.
Set your stopping rule before you summon
Decide what would make the account good enough before the first pull. A pre-set rule prevents two common mistakes: keeping a weak account because you are tired of resetting, and discarding a perfectly playable account because the next roll might be marginally better.

Choose one primary target
- A current banner Unit: Pick the limited or featured character you genuinely want to play. Availability is determined by the live in-game banner, not by an old tier list.
- A strong current Unit from a tier list: The October 17, 2026 version 7.6.0 snapshot places Lenius Unbound, Mysterious Poet Lucia, Demon Lord Caina-Resh, Hinata Sakaguchi, Archbeing Megius, Goddess Lilaha, Great Hero Adel, Spirit Maiden Sera, Arkh, and others in S tier. Use that as a dated reference, not a permanent ranking.
- A role your roster lacks: If your first summons provide damage but no dependable healing or support, a role-complete account can be more useful than a second damage dealer.
- A high-value Ark: A permanent Ark with skills you expect to use can justify keeping an account even when the Unit lineup is ordinary.
Define the minimum acceptable result
A practical minimum is one target Unit plus one useful Ark. The Ark does not need to be the rarest available; it needs skills or effects that can improve more than one likely team member. If your target is a banner Unit and the first summons include that character alongside an Ark with broadly useful teaching skills, the account has met a sensible threshold.

Set a second boundary for your time. For example, decide that you will stop after the first result that meets your roster rule, regardless of whether it arrived on attempt one or attempt fifteen. This is a personal time limit, not a claim about probability or an official recommendation.
How to evaluate an opening account
Inspect the whole account immediately after the initial summons. Do not judge it solely by the number of gold or top-rarity results shown on the screen.

This test deliberately allows a non-perfect roster. A second top-tier Unit is a bonus, not a requirement, when the first Unit and Ark already satisfy your plan. Conversely, several highly ranked Units do not automatically compensate for an Ark lineup that offers no skills you intend to learn.

Why Arks belong in the reroll decision
In Last Cloudia, Units are the characters you deploy, while Arks are equipment-like entities that can be assigned to Units. The important account-level advantage is portability: an Ark can be equipped on different Units and can teach skills that an account without that Ark cannot access. That makes a broadly useful Ark retain value when you later replace a starter character.
What to look for in an Ark
- Transferable skills: Prefer effects that can benefit multiple Units or more than one team composition.
- Immediate compatibility: An Ark that helps the Unit you plan to use now is easier to value than one whose benefit depends on a future, unowned character.
- Longer-term usefulness: A skill that remains relevant after you obtain stronger Units can be worth more than a narrow early-game boost.
- Distinct utility: Healing, support, survivability, or a missing damage type can round out a roster more effectively than another nearly identical offensive effect.
You do not need to memorize every Ark before starting. Read the skill and effect descriptions, note whether they can be learned by the Units you expect to use, and keep the account if the combination supports a team you actually want to build.
Is one good Unit enough to start?
Usually, yes. Start with one strong or personally desired Unit when the rest of the account is serviceable and you have either a useful Ark or enough role coverage to progress. The opening story is designed to introduce Granzelia through Kyle and Rei, so you do not need a complete endgame roster before entering it.

Consider another reset when the single Unit is unsupported: no healing or defensive option, no Ark that improves the team, or a play style you dislike. Also reset if that Unit is obtainable only from a banner that has ended and you are trying to recreate an outdated recommendation. Your goal is a comfortable beginning, not a guarantee that every future team slot is solved.
A practical reroll loop
Use the following loop while checking the current client labels. Because the widely circulated Steam instructions date from September 2022, buttons for account transfer, data deletion, or login may have moved.
- Check the live banners first. Write down the Unit or Ark you are pursuing and confirm that it can actually appear in the summons available to your account.
- Complete only the required opening sequence. Claim the launch currency and tickets that the game currently grants. Do not spend time upgrading a temporary account before you have decided to keep it.
- Summon and record the result. Note the Units, Arks, duplicates, and any role coverage. Read the Ark effects instead of judging by its name or animation alone.
- Apply your keep rule. Keep the account if it has your primary target plus a useful Ark, or if it otherwise meets the roster and enjoyment standard you set.
- Secure a kept account. Use the current in-game account-transfer or login option so the result is not lost. Follow the client’s confirmation prompts; do not assume an old guide’s menu path is unchanged.
- Reset only a failed attempt. Use the supported reset or account-switch process shown by the current app or platform, then repeat the short opening sequence.
If a reset method asks you to delete data or unlink an account, read the warning carefully. A mistaken deletion can remove a result you meant to keep. The safest workflow is to secure a successful account before beginning another experiment.
Using the October 2026 tier list without overfitting
The Pocket Gamer update dated October 17, 2026 covers version 7.6.0 and labels the Units named above, among others, as S tier. That list is useful for identifying candidates, but it is not an instruction to reroll until you own several S-tier entries. Rankings can change with balance updates, new releases, and banner schedules. A Unit that is S tier in the snapshot may also be absent from your current summons.
Use rankings as a shortlist, then verify three things in the client: the Unit’s availability, whether its role fits your intended party, and whether the accompanying Ark improves that plan. If the list and your banner disagree, the banner determines what you can obtain now. If the list and your preferred play style disagree, enjoyment is a valid reason to keep a different Unit.
When to stop for psychological and time reasons
Rerolling has diminishing returns even when every attempt is free. Each cycle consumes the time needed to download or launch the game, finish the tutorial, claim rewards, summon, inspect results, and secure or erase the account. The opportunity cost is lost story progress and less time learning combat, skills, and Ark management.

Stop as soon as the account clears your written rule. Do not add a new requirement because the previous one was achieved quickly. If you have already spent as much time as you intended and the account is playable, starting the story is normally the better use of that session. There is no official count that makes an account “legitimate” or prevents later progress.

Last Cloudia is a free-to-play RPG for iOS and Android with optional in-app purchases. You do not need a physical game, printed manual, or accessory before beginning the story. The official story introduction starts in Granzelia with Kyle and Rei, giving a new account a clear progression path even when the opening summons are not perfect.
After you start, spend time learning the Units and Arks you kept rather than immediately reopening the reroll question. Equip the Ark where its skills make sense, test the party in early battles, and reassess only when a future banner or a genuine role gap gives you a concrete reason. A satisfactory account that you understand will usually outperform a theoretically better account that never leaves the reroll screen.
Common situations and the right decision
You hit the target Unit but no standout Ark
Keep the account if the Unit is your main priority and the available Arks are usable. Continue only if an Ark is part of your non-negotiable rule or the current roster has a serious role gap.

You get an excellent Ark but not the target Unit
Keep it when the Ark has transferable skills and you would enjoy building around it. Otherwise, reset while the target remains available. This is a preference decision, not a universal ranking between Unit and Ark.
You have two strong Units with overlapping roles
Compare their play styles and the Arks attached to the account. Overlap is acceptable if you like both characters; reset only when the team cannot cover basic needs or neither Unit is one you want to play.
The banner changed while you were rerolling
Pause and inspect the new banner. Replace your target list if the old Unit is no longer obtainable, and do not treat the previous tier snapshot as proof that the new lineup is weaker or stronger.
You cannot remember whether an account was secured
Do not reset again until you verify the login or transfer status in the current client. Securing a keeper before experimenting with another roll prevents an accidental loss.

Reroll until you have a current target Unit and at least one Ark that improves your likely teams—or until the roster is simply fun to use—then secure the account and begin the story. A fixed attempt count is neither established by the available guidance nor necessary for making a good start.
