Hostinger Reach Form Builder lets you collect consent-based email signups, add those contacts to Reach automatically, and send them into tagged segments and follow-up campaigns. The practical workflow is straightforward: open Forms in Reach, create and name a form, design it with Reach AI or manual editing, configure a tag and optional segment, activate the form, then publish it as an embedded form or a standalone link.

This guide explains the complete setup, available fields, consent considerations, WordPress and Website Builder options, post-submission automation, version rollback, plan limits, and the checks to make when a form does not appear.

What Hostinger Reach Form Builder does

Reach Form Builder is the lead-capture part of Hostinger Reach, an AI-enhanced email-marketing platform. A visitor submits the form, Reach captures the supplied details, creates or updates the corresponding contact, and makes that contact available for audience organization and campaigns. Tags and segments let you distinguish people who joined through a particular page, offer, event, or campaign.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

You can publish one form inside a website or distribute it as a direct URL through social posts, email, messaging, or any other channel that accepts a link. Hostinger lists pop-up forms as coming soon, so the currently documented choices are an embedded form and a standalone link.

Plan the form before opening the editor

Decide what the signup is for

Give each form one clear job. A newsletter form, event-registration form, lead-magnet download, discount request, and product-update signup usually need different copy, tags, and follow-up messages. Naming the form for its internal purpose makes it easier to identify later; visitors do not see this internal name.

Collect only useful information

Email is the central identifier in Reach. Add a name or surname when personalisation or sales follow-up genuinely needs it, rather than making every field mandatory. Extra questions add friction and can reduce completion, while a shorter form is easier to place in a page layout or message.

Prepare consent language

A typical Reach signup form includes a required email field, optional name or surname fields, and a consent checkbox where regional rules require one. Write the checkbox text so a subscriber understands what they are agreeing to receive and how their details will be used. Your legal obligations depend on the people you contact and the jurisdictions involved; Reach provides the collection mechanism, not a substitute for your own privacy notice or compliance review.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Choose the audience label in advance

Plan a tag such as newsletter-website, webinar-april, or guide-download before publishing. A consistent naming scheme prevents a growing account from filling with near-duplicate labels. If the form needs a distinct audience for later targeting, prepare a segment as well.

Create a Hostinger Reach form step by step

  1. Open the form area. Sign in to the Reach dashboard, open Forms, and select Create form.
  2. Enter an internal name. Use a descriptive name that identifies the source and purpose, such as Website newsletter or Pricing-guide download. This name is for your administration and is not the headline shown to subscribers.
  3. Start the design. Select Start designing. You can choose an incentive if the signup offers a download, discount, event detail, or another benefit, then ask Reach AI to generate an initial layout.
  4. Review the generated layout. Treat the AI output as a starting point. Check the promise made by the headline, the explanation near the fields, the consent wording, and the call to action before saving anything for public use.
  5. Switch to Edit mode when you need control. In Edit mode you can change copy and sections, add a name or surname field, reorder elements, remove elements, change colours, adjust button styling, and edit the after-submission message. The Design panel also lets you change contact-field titles and placeholders.
  6. Configure the audience. Add a tag; Hostinger recommends doing so so that contacts from this form can be recognised later. Optionally create or select a segment for more specific targeting.
  7. Activate the form. A form that remains a draft or is paused is not displayed to visitors. Set the form to its active state before testing the embed or link.
  8. Publish it. Choose the embed option when the form belongs on a website. Choose the direct-link option when you will distribute it through social media, email, messaging, or another channel where a URL is more practical.

Design controls and supported signup fields

The editor separates the visible experience from the audience configuration. Keep the form text aligned with the source where people encounter it: a banner on a blog, a short invitation in an email, and an event-registration page may all use the same underlying contact process but need different explanations.

Element How Reach handles it Practical guidance
Email The core contact field and the normal required field for a Reach signup. Explain the benefit of subscribing near the field and use a clear placeholder.
Name Optional field that can be added in Edit mode. Use it when a welcome message or later campaign will address the subscriber personally.
Surname Optional field that can be added in Edit mode. Include it only when a full name is useful for your audience or workflow.
Consent checkbox Available where regional requirements call for explicit consent. Make the wording specific to the messages and processing the subscriber is agreeing to.
Field titles and placeholders Editable from the Design panel. Use plain language and make the expected format obvious.
Sections, colours, and button Copy, sections, element order, colours, and button styling can be changed. Keep the visual treatment consistent with the page or brand that contains the form.
After-submission message Editable in the form editor. Confirm what happened and state the next action, such as checking an inbox or downloading an incentive.

The documented Reach editor specifically calls out email, name, surname, consent, text and layout controls. Do not assume that every question type offered by another Hostinger product is available in Reach Form Builder; the Website Builder contact form has a broader, separate field system described later.

Tags, segments, and what happens to a submission

When a visitor submits, Reach captures the submitted details and adds the contact to Reach. The tag attached to the form gives every resulting contact a source or purpose label. An optional segment provides a more targeted group for campaigns, for example people who joined through a particular incentive.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Decide whether a segment should represent a permanent source, a temporary promotion, or a combination of conditions maintained elsewhere in your audience strategy. The form itself is the collection point; tags and segments are the tools that make the resulting contacts usable without manually exporting and sorting them.

Choose the right publication method

Method How a visitor reaches it Best fit Important consideration
Embedded form The form is placed inside a page on your website. Blog sidebars, landing pages, resource pages, and site-wide signup areas. The page must include the Reach embed implementation, and the form must be active.
Standalone link Reach hosts a form destination that you share as a URL. Social posts, email messages, chats, QR codes, and campaigns that do not need an on-page embed. Distribute the current link after activating the form and test it from a logged-out browser.

Reach currently documents these two delivery modes. Pop-up forms are listed as coming soon rather than as a feature you can configure in the current builder.

Send an email automatically after submission

Reach can start an automation when someone submits a form. The trigger can be limited to new subscribers or set to run for everyone who submits, including an existing contact. That distinction matters if a known contact revisits a form to register for an event or request a second resource.

Examples of useful follow-up messages

  • A confirmation that the signup was received.
  • A welcome message introducing the publication or service.
  • Event details, calendar information, or joining instructions.
  • A reminder sequence for an upcoming event.
  • A lead magnet or other promised download.
  • A discount or access code promised on the form.
  • Recurring-registration follow-ups for people who sign up repeatedly.

Configure the form-submission trigger

  1. Activate and publish the Reach form first.
  2. Open Automations in Reach.
  3. Select New automation.
  4. Choose Form submission email as the trigger.
  5. Select the Reach form that should start the workflow.
  6. Choose whether the trigger applies to new subscribers only or to everyone who submits, then build the message and any subsequent steps available in your account.

The documented trigger works only with forms created directly in Reach. A native contact form made in Hostinger Website Builder, or another external form system, is not automatically the same trigger source. If an automation does not start, first confirm that the selected form was created in Reach and that the workflow is attached to that exact form.

Embed Reach on WordPress

Hostinger provides a Reach WordPress plugin for placing a Reach form on a new or existing WordPress page. The documented prerequisites are an activated plugin and a form already created in Reach. The integration also calls for a one-time tracking script.

Available WordPress insertion routes

  • The Hostinger plugin page.
  • The WordPress Block Editor.
  • Elementor.
  • An HTML code snippet.

WordPress setup sequence

  1. Create and activate the form in Reach before opening the WordPress editor.
  2. Install or activate the Hostinger Reach plugin and complete its connection steps.
  3. Complete the one-time tracking-script requirement documented for the integration.
  4. Choose the insertion route that matches the page: the plugin interface, a Block Editor block, an Elementor element, or an HTML snippet.
  5. Select the Reach form, save or publish the WordPress page, and submit a test entry.
  6. Check Reach for the contact, tag, segment assignment, and any automation response.

One useful maintenance benefit is that edits made to the form in Reach are reflected on the WordPress site automatically. You do not need to rebuild the page every time you change form copy, styling, fields, or the after-submission message.

How Website Builder contact forms differ

Hostinger Website Builder has its own native contact-form component. It can complement a Reach setup, but it is a separate capability and should not be confused with a Reach signup form or its form-submission automation trigger.

Website Builder capability What it provides
Field controls Customizable and sortable fields, required-field settings, short-answer fields, paragraph fields, single-choice inputs, and multiple-choice inputs.
Submission experience Custom submit-button text plus a thank-you message or redirect behavior.
Appearance Style controls for the native Builder form.
Administration Submission viewing and email notifications sent to the address linked to the account.

Use the Builder form when you need its broader question types or account-notification workflow. Use Reach Form Builder when the objective is to create Reach contacts that can be tagged, segmented, and used in Reach campaigns and form-triggered automations.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Preview and restore earlier form versions

Reach saves each form edit as a version and labels whether the change was manual or AI-generated. You can preview an earlier version and restore it when a design or wording change needs to be reversed.

Only the five latest versions are restorable. Treat that limit as a reason to check important changes promptly rather than assuming an older design can always be recovered.

Restoring a published version changes what new and reloaded visits receive immediately. Someone who already had the form open keeps the version that was loaded for that visit, so test in a fresh or reloaded browser tab when verifying a restoration.

Troubleshoot the most common problems

The form does not appear on the website

  • Open the form in Reach and confirm its current status, then reload the page in a private browser window.
  • Verify that the page contains the correct embed implementation and that you did not paste code for a different form.
  • Clear the site or CDN cache after changing the embed, then test again from a logged-out session.
  • If the site uses WordPress, confirm the plugin is activated and that the one-time tracking script has been completed.
  • For a standalone link, copy the current link from Reach again rather than relying on an old message or browser bookmark.

The form appears but the design is outdated

  • Save the latest edit in Reach and reload the page that contains the form.
  • Check whether the page or CDN is serving a cached copy.
  • If you restored a version, test a new or reloaded visit; a visitor who already had the form open can continue seeing the previously loaded version.

A field or label is wrong

  • Open the form in Edit mode and review the field order, sections, titles, and placeholders in the Design panel.
  • Check that the field was not removed or made optional unintentionally.
  • Submit a test entry after saving and confirm the captured values in Reach.

The contact is present but cannot be found in the expected audience

  • Inspect the form’s tag configuration and verify that the intended tag is attached.
  • Review the segment conditions and allow for the contact to satisfy them before expecting it in a targeted view.
  • Make sure you are checking the Reach account connected to the form rather than a separate email platform.

The follow-up email did not send

  • Confirm the automation is enabled and points to the correct Reach form.
  • Review whether the trigger is restricted to new subscribers while the test address was already an existing contact.
  • Check that the form was created directly in Reach, because the documented form-submission trigger does not cover forms created elsewhere.
  • Run a fresh test with an address that matches the trigger rule and inspect the submission and automation history.

Plan limits and availability

Hostinger’s getting-started information describes a free Reach plan with up to 200 emails per month and up to 100 unique subscribers every month. The same information describes one-year free access for users, including people who are not Hostinger customers. These figures and eligibility terms are attributed to Hostinger’s 2026 plan information and can change, so verify the current offer and account-specific limits before committing a campaign to them.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

The limits are account-plan allowances, not a promise of a particular conversion rate, delivery performance, or audience growth. No independent adoption or conversion benchmark is established here; evaluate your own signup and engagement data after launch.

Launch checklist

  • Give the form an internal name that identifies its source and purpose.
  • Write a specific benefit and an accurate call to action.
  • Keep email required and add name or surname only when needed.
  • Add a consent checkbox and suitable wording where regional requirements call for it.
  • Review Reach AI output manually before publishing.
  • Check field titles, placeholders, colours, button styling, and the after-submission message.
  • Attach a consistent tag and create a segment if the audience needs separate targeting.
  • Activate the form before testing an embed or sharing its link.
  • Choose embedded publication or a standalone link based on where people will encounter the signup.
  • If using WordPress, activate the plugin and complete the one-time tracking-script setup.
  • Configure a form-submission automation when a confirmation, welcome message, reminder, incentive, or other follow-up is required.
  • Submit a test from a private browser and verify the contact, tag, segment, and automation behavior in Reach.
  • Record important wording or design changes promptly because only the five latest versions are restorable.

Is Reach Form Builder the right form for your site?

Reach is a good fit when the desired outcome is an email contact that immediately belongs to a Reach audience and can enter a Reach automation. Its AI-assisted design can speed up the first draft, while Edit mode provides control over copy, fields, styling, and the post-submit experience. Embedded forms suit owned websites, and direct links work when distribution happens in channels that do not support an on-page form.

Choose the native Website Builder contact form instead when you need its short-answer, paragraph, single-choice, or multiple-choice inputs, redirect controls, Builder-specific styling, or notifications to the account-linked address. That form can complement Reach, but it should not be treated as a Reach contact-collection workflow unless you connect the systems through an integration that is separately documented.

For a first Reach campaign, create one focused form, tag its contacts, activate it, publish it in the channel where the signup promise is made, and test the complete path from submission to contact record and follow-up email. That sequence gives you a reliable baseline before duplicating the pattern for additional pages or incentives.
