Hostinger AI Builder’s agentic mode can generate a public website and a private, login-protected admin panel from natural-language instructions. The reliable workflow is to describe both parts in one initial prompt, verify or add email/password authentication, create content modules for products, blog posts and gallery images, connect those modules to the public pages, test everything in the editor, and publish only after the data and access checks pass.
This approach is intended for dynamic content that you need to maintain without writing code. An active Hostinger hosting plan is required. From the Hostinger Dashboard, open Websites → Create website → AI Builder → agentic, then choose a domain or temporary domain when prompted.
What the admin-panel workflow creates
An admin panel is a private area of the same web application where an authorised user can maintain content that visitors see on public pages. In the Hostinger workflow, the panel and the public site use shared backend collections. When an administrator changes a record, the public page can display the updated record instead of requiring a separate page edit.

- Blog posts: title, content and cover image, with writing, editing and publishing operations.
- Gallery images: image upload, replacement and deletion, with the public gallery reading the same collection.
You can substitute other collections, but state their fields and required actions explicitly. Agentic mode generates from your description; it cannot infer every data field, permission or public display rule that your project needs.

Before you start: access and planning
Open the correct builder
- Sign in to the Hostinger Dashboard.
- Choose Websites.
- Select Create website.
- Choose AI Builder, then select agentic mode.
- Enter the initial prompt and, if useful for the design, attach an image or PDF. Choose an existing domain or a temporary domain when the builder asks where to place the site.
The active hosting plan is a prerequisite for this workflow. Decide the public pages you need, the collections those pages will display, and the administrator actions required before writing the prompt. A short, vague request often produces an attractive front end without a usable data model or protected routes.
Define the minimum viable panel
Write down each collection, its fields, the operations allowed on it, and the public location that consumes it. For example, a product record needs a name, price, description and image; the public homepage may need to show the name, price and image; the admin screen needs create, read, update and delete controls. This inventory gives the agent unambiguous work to perform and makes later verification measurable.
Stage 1: give agentic mode one comprehensive prompt
Start by describing the public-facing site and the private area together. Hostinger’s example can be reproduced in a code block and then adapted to your project:
Create a web application with a public-facing website and a private admin panel accessible via email and password login. The admin panel must allow me to add, edit, and delete products (name, price, image, description), blog posts (title, content, cover image), and gallery images. The public site should display this content dynamically.
Use one comprehensive request for the first generation rather than sending unrelated fragments before the basic structure exists. Name the login method, the collections, their fields, the administrator operations and the requirement that public pages read dynamic content. If your site has specific pages, mention them directly—for example, a product listing, a blog index, individual post pages and a gallery.
Review the first generation before adding features
Open the generated preview and inspect both sides of the application. Check that a public navigation path exists, that an admin entry point is present, and that the generated screens contain the fields you requested. Do not assume a visible form is connected to storage: the later Data check is what confirms that collections were created and populated.
If the first pass omits a login screen, exposes an admin route publicly or creates only static cards, continue with focused prompts. Agentic mode is designed for iterative instructions, so correcting one missing capability at a time is more reliable than replacing the entire project with an unrelated prompt.

Stage 2: configure email/password authentication and route protection
Authentication is the boundary between the public site and the administration area. If the generated project does not provide a working login, send this refinement request:
The Tool Desk
Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Add a login page for the admin panel with email and password authentication. Ensure only logged-in admins can access the admin area and redirect unauthenticated users to the login page.
Test the result as a signed-out visitor, not only as the account that generated the site. An unauthenticated visitor should be sent to the login page when attempting to open every admin route, not merely the dashboard. After a successful login, the user should land on the dashboard or another clearly identified admin home.
Check the common login-loop failure
A login loop usually means the session is not being retained or the redirect target is wrong. Ask the agent to fix session storage and to redirect to the dashboard after successful login:
Fix the admin login session and redirect flow. Keep the authenticated session after a successful email/password login and redirect the user to the admin dashboard. Unauthenticated users must be redirected to the login page instead of being allowed to view admin routes.
Then sign out, close the preview, reopen an admin URL and repeat the test. Check the opposite path as well: after logging in, visit a public page and then return to the admin route to confirm the session behaves consistently.
Stage 3: build content modules incrementally
Create one collection and its screens at a time. This makes a missing field or broken action easier to identify and gives you a clean checkpoint before adding the next module.

Add a Products section to the admin panel to add new products with a name, price, description, and image. Include a list of existing products with edit and delete options.
Verify that the form accepts every requested field, that a newly saved product appears in the list, and that edit and delete controls act on the selected record rather than a different row. Check the image field separately; a text-only product record can appear to work while the public card still has no usable image.

Blog posts
Add a Blog Posts section to the admin panel where I can write, edit, and publish articles with a title, content, and cover image.
Distinguish editing from publishing in your checks. A post that can be saved but cannot be published does not meet the requested workflow. Confirm that the title, article content and cover image are retained when you reopen the record for editing.
Gallery images
Add a Gallery section to the admin panel where I can upload, replace, and delete images that display on the public site.
Test all three image actions. Upload an image and confirm it appears in the admin list and on the public gallery. Replace that image and verify the public view changes to the replacement. Delete it and verify that the deleted item no longer renders publicly.
Use explicit fields for additional collections
For any collection beyond the example, identify each field and operation in the same style. “Manage events” is ambiguous; “add, edit and delete events with a title, date, location, description and image, then show published events on the Events page” gives the agent a concrete data contract and a public destination.

Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
Stage 4: bind public pages to the same collections
Admin screens can appear complete while the public site still uses hard-coded sample content. Connect the two sides with a direct instruction:
Connect the public homepage to the admin panel database. The public site must automatically update whenever products, blog posts, or gallery images are added or edited in the admin area.
Adjust the page names and collection names to match your project. The important requirement is that the public components read from the exact collections written by the admin forms. If the homepage uses one collection and the product editor writes to another similarly named collection, updates will never appear to visitors.
Verify each direction of the data flow
- Create a new record in the admin panel and look for it on the relevant public page.
- Edit a visible record and confirm the changed field is rendered publicly.
- Delete a record and confirm the public page no longer displays it.
- For blog content, check that a published post—not merely a draft or saved edit—appears where visitors expect it.
- For images, check upload, replacement and deletion independently because each action can use a different binding.
Use distinctive temporary values during testing, such as a clearly recognisable product name, so you can identify the record on the public page without confusing it with generated sample content.

How to verify collections in Test mode
Hostinger states that changes made in Test mode do not affect the live website. Use that isolation to exercise destructive actions and authentication before publishing.
Recommended Free Tools
- Open the project preview in the AI Builder editor.
- Turn on the Data toggle in the preview.
- Inspect whether the expected collections exist and whether your test records are populated.
- Run the create, edit, publish, replace and delete checks for each module.
- Open the public pages in the same preview and confirm that they read the changed records.
- Test signed-out access to every admin route, then test a valid login and sign-out.
The Data view is particularly useful when a form appears to save but the public page does not change. If no record is present, the form is not writing successfully. If the record is present but the public page is unchanged, the page is probably bound to a different collection or a static sample.
Use a repeatable acceptance checklist
- Login page accepts the configured email and password.
- Unauthenticated visitors are redirected away from each admin route.
- Authenticated users reach the dashboard after login.
- Products can be added, listed, edited and deleted with all four requested fields.
- Blog posts can be written, edited and published with title, content and cover image.
- Gallery images can be uploaded, replaced and deleted.
- Public pages update from the same collections used by the admin panel.
- Deletion and replacement are reflected publicly.
- Data inspection shows the expected collections and records.
Publish the finished panel
Publish only after the Test mode checklist passes. In the editor, choose Publish, then choose Publish changes. Hostinger says propagation can take a few minutes, so an immediate difference between the preview and the public domain does not necessarily indicate a failed build.
After propagation, open the site in an incognito window. A private window helps bypass locally cached files and lets you test the public result as a fresh visitor. Repeat the critical paths on the published domain: open a public page, attempt an admin URL while signed out, log in, create or edit a harmless test record, verify the public rendering, and remove the test record if it should not remain.
Troubleshooting by symptom
| Symptom | What to inspect | corrective prompt or action |
|---|---|---|
| There is no login page | The first generation created public screens but omitted authentication. | Request a dedicated email/password login page, protected admin routes and redirects for unauthenticated users. |
| Login returns to the login screen | Session storage or the post-login redirect is not working. | Ask the agent to fix session retention and redirect a successful login to the dashboard, then retest in a fresh preview session. |
| An admin URL is visible while signed out | Only the navigation may be hidden; the route itself may remain unprotected. | Request protection for every admin route and a redirect to login for unauthenticated visitors. |
| A form saves but the public page is unchanged | Use the Data toggle to see whether a record was created, then compare the collection used by the form with the collection read by the public component. | Ask the agent to bind the public page to the exact admin-panel collection. |
| Only some fields appear publicly | The public component may not render every requested field or may be reading a stale sample. | Name the missing field and the target public component in a focused binding request. |
| Image upload works but replacement does not | Upload and replacement can be separate actions in the generated module. | Ask for an explicit replace action and test the changed image on the public page. |
| Deleted content remains visible | The public view may be cached, reading a different collection or retaining a static item. | Confirm deletion in Data, refresh the preview, and request that the public list read the same collection without the deleted record. |
| The live domain still shows the old site | Publishing may still be propagating, or a browser cache may be serving old files. | Wait a few minutes after Publish changes, then test in an incognito window. |
Agentic mode versus manual mode
Both modes can produce a hosted website, but they suit different kinds of work. The following comparison uses the practical differences relevant to an admin-panel project.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems| Decision area | Agentic mode | Manual mode |
|---|---|---|
| How you build | Describe the application and refinements in chat-style prompts; the builder generates and adjusts the structure. | Use direct visual editing to place and modify individual site elements. |
| Authentication and collections | You can request email/password authentication, protected routes and dynamic collections in natural language, then verify the generated result. | You have more direct control over individual elements, but the workflow requires you to configure the relevant pieces yourself. |
| Element-level control | Fast for broad changes and repeated module instructions; a prompt may need clarification when a specific binding is wrong. | Better suited to precise visual changes to individual elements. |
| Testing and rollback | Test mode isolates changes from the live site; use the Data toggle and publish only after checks pass. | Changes are made through the visual editor, so your review process depends on the controls available in that mode. |
| Hosting and domain | Requires an active Hostinger hosting plan and a selected domain or temporary domain. | Uses the same Hostinger hosting and domain context; the difference is the editing method, not a separate hosting requirement. |
Choose agentic mode when you can express the data model and desired behaviour clearly and want the builder to assemble the initial application. Choose manual editing when your main requirement is exact visual control over individual elements and the project does not benefit from prompt-driven generation. You can also use agentic generation for the initial structure and then refine visual details manually, provided you continue to test the shared collections and protected routes.

Operational practices that prevent avoidable failures
Keep prompts scoped and testable
A request should name one capability and its acceptance condition. “Add a gallery” is less testable than “add upload, replace and delete actions for gallery images and render the same collection on the public Gallery page.” Focused prompts also make it easier to identify which change introduced a problem.
Separate public content from administration
Keep the admin navigation and public navigation distinct. The public site should expose published content, while administration should expose the editing controls. During testing, verify the route directly rather than assuming that hiding a menu item provides protection.
Use Test mode for destructive actions
Create test records before trying deletion or replacement. Because Test mode changes do not affect the live website, you can verify the complete lifecycle without risking production content. Once the result is correct, publish the tested version instead of testing destructive operations on the live domain first.
Record the collection names
Write down the exact collection names shown by the Data toggle. When a public component stops updating, this record lets you compare the writer and reader quickly and gives the agent a precise correction target.
Limits of the no-code approach
Agentic mode reduces the amount of code you must write, but it does not remove the need to specify requirements or validate the result. Generated screens can omit a route guard, bind to the wrong collection or implement only part of a requested image workflow. Authentication should therefore be tested as a route-access condition, not judged by the presence of a login form alone.
Likewise, a successful save message is not proof that visitors see the new content. The authoritative checks are the Data view and a public-page test using the same record. Publishing is a separate step from generation, and the live domain can lag briefly while changes propagate.
