HONOR announced the Power2 in China on January 5, 2026, with sales scheduled to begin January 9 at 10:08. Its headline features are a 10,080 mAh typical-capacity battery and MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500 Elite chipset. The launch prices were 2,699 yuan for 12GB/256GB and 2,999 yuan for 12GB/512GB; these are China-market prices, not confirmed international pricing.
Honor Power2 price and availability
HONOR announced the Power2 in China on January 5, 2026. The company scheduled sales to start on January 9, 2026, at 10:08. Its launch configurations and prices were:

HONOR’s announcement establishes a China launch, but the available information does not establish whether or when the Power2 will be sold globally. International pricing, supported cellular bands, and warranty coverage are likewise not established. Buyers considering an import should verify band compatibility, warranty terms, seller reputation, and the current price for their market before ordering.
How large is the battery, and how fast does it charge?
The Power2 has a 10,080 mAh battery by typical capacity; its rated capacity is 9,886 mAh. These are two different capacity ratings for the same battery, not competing estimates. HONOR lists 80W wired charging and up to 27W wired reverse charging.

The capacity figure alone does not establish how many hours or days the phone lasts. Real-world battery life depends on workload, signal strength, display settings, and other conditions; the available figures do not provide an independently verified runtime. Charging times and whether a charger is included are also not stated here.
Dimensity 8500 Elite performance claim
HONOR describes the Power2 as the first phone to launch with MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500 Elite. The company claims a 25% GPU-performance improvement over the Dimensity 8400, using its stated comparison methodology. This is a manufacturer comparison, not an independent benchmark or a guarantee of a 25% improvement in every game or task.

HONOR also lists a cooling area exceeding 40,000 mm². That is a stated cooling-area figure; by itself, it does not show how the phone performs under sustained workloads or how hot it becomes.
Display and durability
The Power2 has a 6.79-inch 1.5K display. HONOR lists 8,000 nits of local peak brightness and 3,840Hz PWM dimming. Local peak brightness is a specified peak figure, not a promise that the entire screen remains at that brightness in ordinary use.

The phone carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K protection ratings. HONOR cautions that water-resistance testing takes place under controlled conditions, protection is not permanent, and the device is not a professional waterproof product. The ratings should not be treated as permission to deliberately submerge or expose the phone to water jets.
Signal features and claims
HONOR says the Power2 includes its C1+ RF chip and 25 antennas. The company claims a 200% improvement in weak-signal performance and cites SRTC five-star certification for elevator signal and navigation scenarios. These are manufacturer-stated claims and certification details, not a guarantee of the same reception gain in every location, network, or carrier configuration. Supported cellular bands are not established in the available launch details.

What the launch details do—and do not—tell you
The Power2’s announced specifications make it notable for battery capacity, charging figures, and a new chipset launch. However, capacity figures do not establish battery runtime, manufacturer performance and reception comparisons are not independent tests, and China launch details do not confirm global availability or compatibility. Those distinctions matter most if you are comparing it with another phone or considering an import.
