Google reportedly developed a first-party USI 2.0 stylus for the Pixel Tablet, but never formally launched it. The pen, identified in reports as model GM0KF, later appeared in third-party listings; tech outlets said units they encountered worked with the tablet. That does not confirm a Google release, the authenticity of current listings, or present-day availability.
What was the Pixel Tablet Pen going to be?
It was a reported Google accessory project: a stylus intended for a later tablet plan, rather than a pen Google announced or sold alongside the Pixel Tablet. A December 2024 Android Central report, citing leak reporting by Kamila Wojciechowska, described the proposed name as “Pen for Google Pixel Tablet” and gave its codenames as “bushukan” or “B80.” Those are leak-based details, not an official product announcement.
In August 2025, 9to5Google reported that a pen was appearing in third-party listings under generic GM0KF and USI 2.0 wording. The outlet said the packaging shown in its report identified it as “Pixel Tablet Pen” and that it bought and tried a unit with a Pixel Tablet. Android Authority also reported the accessory appearing through online retailers. Neither report establishes that Google formally launched it.
What did the reported pen look like and do?
Reports described a white or off-white and gray stylus with a USB-C charging port and a button at the top or tail. GM0KF is the model identifier associated with the reported unit, while USI 2.0 is the stylus standard it was said to use.

Input, hover, and the button
9to5Google said its tested unit began working after charging and provided responsive input and hover feedback. The outlet initially found that the button did not appear to do anything. Android Authority later described a software configuration in which a paired pen’s tail button could be set to open the default notes app. That reported behavior depended on software configuration; it is not a guarantee for every Pixel Tablet, Android version, or notes app.
Magnetic attachment and charging
Android Authority reported that the pen attached magnetically to the tablet. That describes a reported physical feature, not proof of a charging dock or compatibility with every Pixel Tablet case. The reports described USB-C charging, so do not assume magnetic attachment charges the pen.

Did Google release a pen for the Pixel Tablet?
No formal Google launch is established by the available reporting. Google did not sell a first-party pen alongside the Pixel Tablet, and 9to5Google reported that Google did not comment when asked about the product. Listings and tested units described by technology outlets are evidence of a surfaced accessory, not confirmation that Google released or officially supports it.
Does the Pixel Tablet support a stylus?
Yes. The Pixel Tablet supports USI 2.0 styluses, so a compatible third-party USI 2.0 pen is a separate option from the unreleased GM0KF. Google’s tablet support for the standard does not mean every USI stylus will work equally well or that Google endorses a particular model. Check a specific pen’s compatibility claim for the Pixel Tablet before buying. Android Central’s report discusses the tablet’s stylus support.

What should you check before buying a listing?
A third-party listing that claims to sell the GM0KF Pixel Tablet Pen is not the same as an officially launched Google product. The 2025 reports do not verify current stock, price, seller, or the authenticity of listings available now. Compare the listing with a conventional third-party USI 2.0 stylus rather than assuming the rumored Google-branded item is automatically better or officially supported.
