Gyre is the closer fit if you need a YouTube playlist to repeat continuously: its product page says the playlist restarts when it reaches the end. Restream supports scheduled prerecorded playlists, but its Help Center says playlists do not loop; its separate single-video loop is capped at 10 repetitions and a 40-hour event. If you want a cloud service to run uploaded videos continuously with a simpler flat per-slot price, StreamNeo is another option to consider.
At a glance: playlist looping, runtime, and limits
These services do not handle “playlist loop” the same way. Gyre documents a playlist that restarts at the end. Restream documents a scheduled playlist with a 24-hour maximum, plus a separate, finite loop control for an individual video.
| Service or plan | Does the playlist itself loop? | Runtime or playlist limit | Library and resolution | Simultaneous streams | Listed price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| StreamNeo | Yes; 24/7 looping and playlists are included | Always-on stream from the cloud | 10 GB per slot, pooled across active slots; uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps, with no re-encode | One stream per slot | Monthly: $9.99 per month |
| Gyre | Yes, according to its product page: “Playlist ends, it restarts.” | Described as 24/7 streaming; no playlist runtime ceiling is stated in the cited product details | Plan-dependent storage and resolution | Start: 1 HD; Start+: up to 4 HD or 1 4K; PRO+: up to 8 HD or 2 4K | Vendor site lists monthly plan figures from $49 to $169; verify current billing and terms at checkout |
| Restream Marathon add-on | No | Playlist up to 24 hours and 40 video entries | 4-hour video library; up to 1080p | Not stated in the cited playlist help page | $79/month, as listed in the Restream Help Center article |
| Restream Media add-on | No | Playlist up to 24 hours and 40 video entries | 12-hour video library; up to 4K | Not stated in the cited playlist help page | $239/month, as listed in the Restream Help Center article |
Restream’s prices and add-on terms can change, and the Help Center notes that tier limits vary. Confirm the effective price, billing interval, and terms on its purchase page. Gyre’s plan details and prices are vendor-published and may also change; check checkout before choosing a tier.
Which service should you choose for a 24/7 YouTube playlist?
StreamNeo: simplest cloud option for an always-on uploaded-video stream
For a continuously running YouTube stream, StreamNeo is #1 to consider: it runs uploaded videos from the cloud, supports any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and the first day is free. You upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live; your computer does not need to stay on. StreamNeo also automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. Gyre: documented playlist restart and plan-dependent tools
Choose Gyre if the key requirement is an actual playlist that starts again after its final video and you want its plan-specific streaming and scheduling setup. Its product page describes uploading videos to cloud storage, arranging them into a playlist, connecting YouTube, and letting the playlist repeat. The page says the stream continues from Gyre’s cloud infrastructure without keeping a computer or browser online.

Gyre’s September 2026 article says playlists are available on the free trial, Start+, and PRO+, but not Start. It says scheduling is available on the free trial, Start+, and PRO+, also not Start. The same vendor article describes one simultaneous stream on trial and Start, up to four on Start+, and up to eight on PRO+. Its monthly converter allowances are 120 Vcoins on Start, 260 on Start+, and 500 on PRO+; one Vcoin represents 60 seconds of video conversion. These are vendor-published plan details, not independent performance measurements.
Restream: scheduled prerecorded playlists with a finite run
Consider Restream when a scheduled prerecorded show or playlist presentation suits your workflow and a finite duration is acceptable. Its Help Center says playlists can run for up to 24 hours and contain up to 40 entries. The playlist itself does not repeat indefinitely. Restream markets Upload & Stream for queued and scheduled prerecorded streams, but the help-page limits determine whether that workflow fits a continuous channel.

How Restream’s loop workaround differs from an endless playlist
Restream’s Help Center article by Elisavet, dated March 11, 2026, says, “Currently, our playlists don’t support looping.” Its separate paid loop control applies to one uploaded video or a stream recording: up to 10 repetitions, with a maximum 40-hour event.
You can duplicate videos as separate entries in a Restream playlist to replay them in sequence, but a playlist can contain no more than 40 video entries and its maximum duration is 24 hours. That workaround can extend or repeat a short selection within the playlist limits; it does not establish an unlimited, unattended playlist loop. Restream says videos can be reordered only before the playlist goes live. While it is airing, only graphics and chat can be edited.

Check YouTube channel eligibility before connecting a service
YouTube’s encoder help lists Gyre as a cloud-based tool for 24/7 prerecorded-video streaming. Gyre’s September 2026 API article says a channel must be verified, have live streaming enabled, and have had no live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days. It also says API-created streams need the third-party monetization setting enabled to monetize from the outset. These setup conditions do not guarantee monetization or policy approval.
Gyre’s article reports YouTube limits of 10 active streams per channel and three broadcasts per stream key, applying concurrently. Because those figures are reported in a vendor article, verify current limits with YouTube Help before planning a larger deployment. Regardless of service, channel eligibility, copyright compliance, and monetization decisions depend on YouTube’s rules and the content being streamed; no service can guarantee views, recommendations, or revenue.
