Use this checklist before comparing plans
- Does it loop prerecorded video continuously, or only schedule finite events?
- How many concurrent streams and destinations are supported?
- What are the file, storage, resolution, and frame-rate limits?
- Are playlists and scheduling included, and on which plan?
- Must a computer stay online, or does the service or device operate independently?
- What is the full cost for your required term, number of streams, storage, and output quality?
- Does the workflow suit an evergreen video library, music or ambience, education, or a live show with guests?
Compare like with like: the lowest displayed price may not cover the storage, stream count, duration, or quality you actually need. Check current checkout totals and plan limits before committing.

2. A computer running OBS or another encoder
A computer-based encoder can send prerecorded material to YouTube, but it shifts operational responsibility to you. The computer must stay powered on, the encoder must keep running, and the internet connection must remain stable. Plan for power interruptions, software restarts, network outages, and remote recovery; unlike hosted playout, the stream depends on your local setup.

This route can make sense if you already operate an always-on computer and want direct control of the encoder workflow. It is less suitable when your aim is to turn off your computer or avoid maintaining a continuous local setup. The comparison source identifies OBS as a route that runs while your computer stays on; it does not establish a specific configuration or cost for a continuous broadcast.
3. AJA HELO Plus — dedicated encoder hardware
YouTube’s official encoder directory lists AJA HELO Plus as a standalone H.264 encoder and says its PlayToStream feature can schedule prerecorded media directly to YouTube Live without a computer. This is a hardware route for creators who want a dedicated device rather than a cloud subscription or general-purpose computer.

Scheduling prerecorded media is not by itself proof of an unlimited repeating 24/7 loop. Confirm the supported duration and continuous-playback workflow with the manufacturer before buying for that purpose. The directory establishes the listed functionality, not the full purchase cost or every operating limit.
4. StreamYard — studio for scheduled shows
StreamYard’s official pricing page lists studio and multistreaming features, recording, and prerecorded streams with plan-specific limits. That can suit creators who need guest interviews, branded live shows, or a production studio. A prerecorded-stream feature does not establish that a plan supports unlimited continuous looping, so verify duration and 24/7 operation explicitly.

YouTube’s official tools directory describes Upstream as a browser-based cloud studio for 24/7 live video streaming. Before treating it as a Gyre-equivalent, verify directly whether its current workflow supports prerecorded looping, which destinations it sends to, and what plan limits apply. A general 24/7 streaming description does not answer those operational questions.

Rights, policy, and realistic expectations
A tool that can retransmit a file does not give you rights to the file. Before scheduling a loop, make sure you have the necessary rights to the video, music, images, and other included material, and review YouTube’s current copyright and live-streaming policies. Repeatedly broadcasting material you do not control can create copyright problems or platform enforcement risk.
Do not assume that running a continuous stream will increase views, recommendations, watch time, monetization speed, or revenue. Gyre promotes growth-related outcomes on its own site, but the materials available here do not establish those results independently or show that they are typical. A 24/7 stream is an operating format, not a guarantee of audience performance.
