GraalPhone did not become a verified retail product. Presented at CES 2017, it was a concept for a 5-inch Android phone, a 7-inch Windows mini-laptop, a tablet mode and a glasses-free 3D camera system. The demo was a mock-up, not a working device, and the expected launch dates and price were projections rather than evidence of a release.
What was the GraalPhone?
GraalPhone was a proposed four-in-one device from Raoul Parienti Holding (RPH). The company described it as “The exclusive office tool 4 in1 in your pocket” and “The perfect synthesis between efficiency and fun.” Its plan was to combine a smartphone, a Windows computer with a physical keyboard, an Android tablet and a camera setup designed to take stereoscopic 3D photos.
The physical concept paired a small Windows laptop with a separate Android phone. The phone was meant to slide into a slot in the computer. RPH’s stated idea was that the phone and computer could each work independently, while docking the phone would provide a 7-inch Android tablet experience. This was an announced design, not a demonstrated, finished product.
What specifications were announced?
The figures below describe concept-era plans reported around CES 2017. They should not be read as verified specifications for a shipping device.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
| Part of the concept | Announced details | Evidence and qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Phone | 5-inch Full HD display, Android and an octa-core processor | RPH listed the screen size and octa-core processor; Les Numériques reported 1,920 × 1,080 resolution and Android. These were announced features, not independently verified production specifications. |
| Windows computer | 7-inch display and physical keyboard; Windows 10 was reported in 2017 coverage | The form factor and operating system were concept-era descriptions. A functional public demonstration was not available at CES 2017. |
| Tablet mode | The phone would dock into the computer and provide a 7-inch Android tablet experience | Les Numériques reported a 1,280 × 720 display, Intel Atom processor, 4 GB RAM, 256 GB storage and USB 3.0 for the tablet/computer section. These were announced specifications, not verified retail specifications. |
| Camera | 5× optical zoom, Xenon flash and a dual-camera arrangement for stereoscopic 3D photos | RPH listed the zoom and flash; CES-era coverage described the paired cameras and glasses-free 3D viewing. The capabilities were presented as planned features. |
Les Numériques also reported that the computer section was intended to recharge the phone while docked and that storage would be shareable between Android and Windows. The available concept descriptions do not establish how that sharing would work in practice—for example, which files or applications would be accessible in both environments.
How was the glasses-free 3D camera supposed to work?
The concept used cameras on both the phone and the docked computer to capture two views for a stereoscopic image. A stereoscopic pair gives each eye a slightly different view, creating a perception of depth. GraalPhone’s display was described as autostereoscopic, meaning it was intended to show 3D images without special glasses.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
RPH advertised 5× optical zoom and a Xenon flash, but the public descriptions do not establish which camera supplied those functions, how the two cameras were aligned or how the device would process and display the image. Most importantly, because the CES showing was a mock-up, the 3D camera was not demonstrated as a working, tested feature.
Did GraalPhone ever come out?
The documented record establishes a concept presentation, not a commercial launch. Liliputing reported from CES 2017 that the shown unit was a mock-up and that the software was not ready for a public demonstration; Notebookcheck likewise reported that a fully functional model was not ready. Neither a projected release window nor a quoted price confirms that customers could buy the device.

Liliputing reported the company’s then-projected availability as late 2017 or early 2018, with a planned price of about €800–€1,000. Those were contemporary projections, not evidence of retail shipments. Notebookcheck and Liliputing also reported that GraalPhone was talking with larger companies and might license its intellectual property rather than manufacture and sell a complete device itself. That reporting does not establish a current licensing program, partner or sales channel.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Can you buy a GraalPhone or a close substitute?
No current retail source or verified shipment is established for GraalPhone, so there is no substantiated way to buy the original device. A generic phone-to-monitor dock or a conventional 2-in-1 laptop is not an equivalent: the GraalPhone proposal combined separate standalone Android and Windows environments, a phone that docked into the computer as a tablet, and a paired-camera 3D system with advertised optical zoom. The documented record does not establish another product with that full combination.

- [360 ° Flexible Rotation Design] Comes with a rotatable lanyard ring that supports 360 ° free rotation, effectively solving the problem of twisted and tangled lanyards
- [Wide compatibility] The ultra-thin 0.02-inch design does not block the charging port at all, and both wired and wireless charging can be used directly without removing the pad. Compatible with most smartphones such as iPhone, compatible with various wristbands, lanyards, crossbody straps, and keychains
- [Durable and Portable Material] Premium rust-resistant stainless steel material with good flexibility, which not only avoids scratching the phone case, but also has excellent anti rust and anti fading performance
- [Multi scenario Practical] Paired with a lanyard or wristband, hands-free use can be achieved. The phone is within reach and not easily dropped, ideal for daily commuting and outdoor activities. Suitable for full coverage phone cases, does not support half coverage phone cases
- [Quality Service] If you find any damage or other issues with the product upon receipt, please contact us immediately. We will handle it quickly
Phone-laptop docks and 2-in-1 PCs can resemble parts of the idea, but those categories alone do not establish that a device runs both systems independently, shares data across them as planned, or includes the same glasses-free 3D imaging arrangement. Any buying decision should be based on the exact model’s current specifications, availability, software support, warranty and camera capabilities—not on an assumption that it reproduces the GraalPhone concept.
RPH’s historical reports of press coverage, website traffic and purchase interest reflect the company’s own figures at the time; they do not verify that a product shipped. The strongest supported conclusion is therefore that GraalPhone remained a heavily publicized concept in the available record, rather than a confirmed product to purchase.
