The practical difference is whether the tablet can connect to a mobile network independently. Samsung lists both Wi-Fi and 5G variants, but the 5G option only adds value where the tablet’s model is compatible with local carrier networks and you have suitable service.

Samsung notes that color and model availability can vary by country, region, or carrier. If you mainly use the tablet at home, at work, or in places with reliable Wi-Fi, the Wi-Fi model is the straightforward choice. How much internal storage should you choose?
Base the internal-storage tier on the apps, downloaded media, and files you want ready on the tablet. Samsung’s regional pages show 256 GB and 512 GB listings, as well as a 1 TB 5G listing. Samsung describes configurations starting at 256 GB or 512 GB and reaching 1 TB, with up to 16 GB of memory. These are manufacturer-listed configurations, not a promise that each tier is available in every country. Check the exact local SKU and its price before deciding.

What the specifications do—and do not—tell you
The UK Wi-Fi specification lists support for 2.4, 5, and 6 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 6.0. Those are manufacturer specifications; Wi-Fi capability does not provide cellular service. Samsung Gulf lists weights of 692 g for Wi-Fi and 695 g for 5G. The figures apply to that regional product information, not an independent measurement across all markets. Samsung also lists a 14.6-inch display with 2960 × 1848 resolution and up to 23 hours of video playback. The playback figure is a stated maximum, not a guarantee of real-world battery life.
Samsung’s UK and Gulf product information describes the S Pen as included in the box. Optional compatible accessories listed by Samsung Gulf include a Pro Keyboard, Book Cover, Ultra-exclusive Frame Cover, Book Cover Keyboard Slim, and anti-reflecting screen protector; these are sold separately. - Decide how you will get online. If Wi-Fi or a phone hotspot meets your needs, choose Wi-Fi. If you need the tablet to connect independently, compare the local 5G model with your carrier’s coverage, band support, SIM or eSIM requirements, and plan cost.
- Pick internal storage for the files you need on hand. Compare the tiers actually offered in your market, and use the reported available-space figure on the local listing rather than assuming all advertised capacity is free.
- Use microSD as supplemental capacity. Samsung lists support up to 2 TB across models, but the card is separate and not every app or workflow is established as compatible with removable storage.
- Check the full local configuration. Verify model, connectivity, storage, available space, included items, and any separate accessory costs on Samsung’s regional page or the retailer’s listing before purchase.
