Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsIf YouTube is rejecting your 24/7 recorded class stream, first check the exact notice in YouTube Studio or Live Control Room. The cause could be a channel restriction, a copyright match in the recording, a mismatch between OBS and YouTube’s stream settings, or an unstable upload connection. The title alone cannot identify which one applies. The reviewed YouTube guidance does not establish a special India-only ban on OBS or prerecorded lessons.
Start with the exact YouTube notice
Before changing OBS settings, note the full error or warning, when it appeared, and which stream it concerns. Check YouTube Studio and the Live Control Room for account status, stream health, and any policy or copyright notice. An encoder may connect successfully while YouTube still restricts or interrupts the broadcast.
YouTube’s published live-stream eligibility guidance says a channel must be verified and have no live-stream restrictions in the previous 90 days. Restrictions can follow Community Guidelines or copyright issues. If Studio shows an account-level restriction, changing bitrate, hardware, or the stream key will not restore live access. Resolve or appeal the notice through the options YouTube displays. Do not attempt to evade an active restriction by streaming from another channel; YouTube prohibits that.
YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance explains the verification and restriction requirements.

Check whether the class recording has rights issues
A prerecorded lesson is still scanned while it is live. Review the entire recording, not just the lecture itself, for music, film or television clips, third-party lectures, background audio, images, and other material you do not have rights to stream. YouTube says it may interrupt or terminate a live stream when matched third-party content continues.
Having a license does not necessarily prevent an automated interruption: YouTube says the rights holder may need to allowlist your channel through Content ID. Check any copyright notification and contact the rights holder or distributor if the content is licensed but still being matched. YouTube’s livestream terms require the provider to have necessary rights for worldwide exploitation and to meet applicable territory requirements, so verify that your permissions cover the relevant use and territories.

Match OBS to the intended YouTube stream
If the account has live access and the recording is cleared, confirm that OBS is sending to the stream you intend to run. YouTube’s stream key acts like a password for the encoder connection; keep it private and do not paste it into public chats, screenshots, or support forums.
- Open YouTube Live Control Room. Select the intended stream or scheduled event and review its stream settings, including the stream URL and key.
- Check OBS. In OBS, open Settings > Stream and confirm the service and server/stream URL and key match the selected YouTube stream. Labels can vary by OBS version and connection method.
- Check the event and encoder settings. Confirm the selected event is the one you plan to publish and that the output settings are supported for the stream. Use YouTube’s current recommendations for resolution, frame rate, bitrate, and keyframe interval rather than guessing.
- Reset a key only when needed. If you suspect the key has been exposed or have another reason to replace it, generate a replacement in YouTube and update OBS with the new value. A rotated key will not match OBS until you update it.
- Start a test and inspect the preview. Wait for the Live Control Room preview and stream-health status. Confirm you see the expected video and hear the expected audio before making the stream public.
Use YouTube’s live stream settings instructions for the current controls and stream-key details.
Rule out upload bandwidth or connection drops
A stream can be configured correctly and still fail when the connection cannot sustain its outgoing bitrate. YouTube says total bitrate must not exceed available upload bandwidth and recommends leaving 20% headroom. Test upload capacity on the same connection and device you will use to stream, account for other traffic on the network, and monitor Live Control Room’s preview and stream health during a test.

- 【What You Get】Includes: HDMI Capture Card, USB 3.0 to USB-C Adapter, User Manual. Tips: Make sure your tablet’s OTG function is enabled before connecting. Test your HDMI device with a monitor first to confirm video and audio output, then connect to the Video Capture Card for recording.
- Insufficient headroom: Reduce the encoder’s total bitrate or use a connection with more stable upload capacity, then test again.
- Shared or variable connection: Pause other heavy uploads or downloads during testing and check whether the streaming device is competing with other users or services.
- Brief interruptions: YouTube warns that connectivity disruptions can break a stream. Investigate packet loss, router or modem instability, Wi-Fi reliability, and ISP interruptions; a higher bitrate will not fix an unstable route.
See YouTube’s streaming tips for bandwidth and setup guidance.
Test the setup before returning to 24/7 operation
Make a short private or unlisted test when appropriate. YouTube recommends setting up the encoder in advance, checking the Live Control Room preview, confirming the event is accessible on channel and watch pages and on mobile, and monitoring audio and video continuously. Test the exact OBS profile, recording, stream key, and network you plan to use; a test with a different file or connection may not reveal the same problem.
If a test works, record the settings and the notice/status that changed. If it fails, use the resulting Studio message and stream-health details to return to the relevant branch above rather than changing several unrelated settings at once.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Plan for the archive separately from the live feed
YouTube says streams shorter than 12 hours may be automatically archived, while streams longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all. DVR rewind can also be limited or unavailable beyond 12 hours. A 24/7 broadcast therefore should not be your only copy of the class recording or the only way viewers can access the lesson later.
Keep an independent recording and, if you need a reliable archive, plan a schedule that produces recordings within YouTube’s stated limit. Review YouTube’s archive guidance and DVR guidance; the latter’s India-locale page gives the same 12-hour caveat.

Common symptoms and what to check
| What you see | Likely area to investigate | Next action |
|---|---|---|
| YouTube says live streaming is unavailable or restricted | Channel eligibility or a policy restriction | Read the Studio notice and resolve or appeal through YouTube. OBS setting changes do not clear an account restriction. |
| The stream starts, then is interrupted or terminated | Copyright match or connection disruption | Check copyright notifications and the recording’s third-party material; also inspect stream health and the actual upload connection. |
| OBS connects, but the wrong event receives video or no preview appears | Stream selection, URL, key, or settings mismatch | Verify the selected Live Control Room stream and update OBS to use its current matching URL and key. |
| Preview or stream health reports connection problems | Upload capacity, competing traffic, or instability | Measure the actual connection, leave YouTube’s recommended 20% bitrate headroom, and test with competing traffic reduced. |
| The live feed works, but the full 24/7 replay is missing | Archive or DVR duration limit | Do not assume a stream exceeding 12 hours will be captured; retain a separate copy and adjust the archive plan. |
