How to capture a full page in each browser
Use the extension’s own full-page command rather than assuming the browser’s ordinary screenshot shortcut will scroll and assemble the entire page. Menu wording differs by browser, and these vendor-documented steps should not be read as a guarantee that every webpage will capture correctly.
Awesome Screenshot browser steps
- Install and open the Awesome Screenshot extension in a supported browser.
- For Chrome, Edge or a compatible Chromium-based browser, select Full Page.
- For Safari, select Capture Full Page.
- For Firefox, select Capture Entire Page.
- Choose the available destination or export options, then save or download the capture. If saving locally without auto-download, download before closing the capture tab or window.

FireShot workflow
- Open the webpage in a browser with FireShot installed.

Awesome Screenshot’s permission explanation says its “On all sites” permission is used to capture sites after the user initiates capture, and access ends when capture or recording stops. Its privacy article says screenshots are not transferred or copied outside the browser without user consent; its help documentation also describes cloud storage and sharing.
