The Elec reported on October 2, 2026, citing industry sources, that Samsung had begun full-scale front-end production of its Exynos 2700 processor. The report says volume is more than 10% above the prior-year Exynos 2600 volume and describes an internal Geekbench 6 multi-core result 9.5% above Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. Neither claim has been publicly confirmed by Samsung or independently reproduced.

What is reported about Exynos 2700 production?

The Elec’s October 2, 2026 report says Samsung Electronics had started full-scale front-end foundry production of Exynos 2700. It attributes the information to industry sources; it is not a Samsung announcement. The report does not disclose a production-unit count.

According to the same report, planned volume is more than 10% higher than Exynos 2600 volume in the prior year. The increase is tied to one additional Galaxy S27 model reportedly adopting Exynos. This is a relative volume claim, not evidence of a specific number of processors or completed phones.

What does the reported performance comparison show?

The Elec says internal Geekbench 6 testing gave Exynos 2700 a 9.5% multi-core score advantage over Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. The headline’s “10%” is a rounded version of that reported figure. No public benchmark result or independent test conditions are provided.

A multi-core score alone does not establish how the processors compare in single-core work, power consumption, heat, sustained performance, graphics, or everyday use. The report supplies no basis for conclusions on those measures.

Which Galaxy S27 models are reportedly set to use Exynos?

The report says Samsung’s Mobile eXperience division had determined the required Exynos volumes for the Galaxy S27 base, Plus, and Pro models. It says the chipset decision for the Ultra model remained open at the time of publication. These are industry-source claims about a future phone lineup, not confirmed model specifications or a final regional chipset plan.

What is confirmed about Exynos 2700?

In the Samsung official material covered here, no public confirmation was found for Exynos 2700 production, its manufacturing node, specifications, Galaxy S27 placement, or the rumored benchmark. That leaves the production and performance details attributable to The Elec’s industry-source reporting, rather than established product specifications.

Samsung’s official Exynos 2600 product page describes that predecessor as a 2nm GAA mobile processor with a deca-core CPU and integrated CPU, NPU, and GPU features. Those are Exynos 2600 details only; they do not establish Exynos 2700’s process technology or configuration.
