Epoch Operation: Taubound is a one-time Warframe event running from October 15 through November 17, 2026. Finish Vor’s Prize, enter any Eris mission to earn Moonflesh, and exchange that currency with the Sentient Mothership Praghasa for cosmetics, returning equipment, arcanes, Tauforged Archon Shards, a Legendary Core and other items. Eris’s usual Star Chart and Junction requirements are disabled for the operation.
Praghasa is also where the event’s daily narrative updates appear. Spend your Moonflesh before November 17: Digital Extremes says, “There will be no reruns of Epoch Operation: Taubound,” and the event dialogue will not return.
What you need before claiming Taubound rewards
- Complete the Vor’s Prize quest.
- After that quest, Eris missions are available for this operation without the normal Star Chart or Junction progression requirements.
- Moonflesh is the event currency. You earn it in Eris missions, from Infested enemies and through rotating Tactical Alerts.
- Praghasa is the event vendor and the location for the special daily narrative updates.
The permanent Tau Prologue quest is related to the same story but is not an alternative way to unlock the shop. It requires The Hex and The Old Peace, and it does not award Taubound event items or the operation’s dialogue.

How to earn Moonflesh
1. Complete Vor’s Prize
Vor’s Prize is the only stated event access requirement. You do not need to complete Eris’s normal route through the Star Chart while the operation is active; those usual gates are lifted for Taubound.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
2. Run missions on Eris
Choose any available Eris mission and play it normally. The official event announcement says missions provide fixed Moonflesh amounts. The announcement does not publish one universal amount for every mission, so the reward shown in the mission or post-mission results is the authoritative value for that activity.
3. Defeat Infested enemies
Infested enemies on Eris can also drop Moonflesh. This makes ordinary combat useful even when you are not optimizing for a particular mission objective.
4. Watch for Tactical Alerts
Rotating event Tactical Alerts can increase your Moonflesh accumulation. Check the current Alerts list before starting a farming session; their availability and bonuses can change during the operation.

Where to spend Moonflesh
- Enter the event area containing the Sentient Mothership Praghasa.
- Interact with Praghasa to open her event shop.
- Review each item’s Moonflesh price, purchase limit and any community-progress requirement.
- Buy the rewards you want, then continue running Eris missions or Tactical Alerts for additional currency.
- Return to Praghasa regularly to see her daily narrative update while the operation is live.
Inventory and prices are live-service data. Third-party price tables published during October 2026 are useful planning references, but the value displayed by Praghasa in your game takes precedence if it differs.

Community-progress gates for Contegorus armor
The three Contegorus pieces unlock as the community advances the overall operation:
Recommended Free Tools
| Piece | Community progress required |
|---|---|
| Contegorus Greaves | 30% |
| Contegorus Pauldrons | 60% |
| Contegorus Chest Plate | 90% |
These percentages measure shared event progress, not an individual player’s personal completion. If a piece is still locked, continue participating and check the operation’s progress indicator later. Once its threshold is reached, the reported price is 175 Moonflesh per piece.

Choosing what to buy first
If you want maximum gameplay value
- Reserve 500 Moonflesh for the one-time Legendary Core if you use it.
- Consider the three one-time Tauforged Archon Shards at 375 Moonflesh each.
- Use remaining currency on arcanes, prioritizing effects that fit your existing melee or secondary builds.
- Buy Kuva, Credits or Endo only after checking that the repeatable limits serve your immediate upgrade plans.
If you collect cosmetics
- Track the 30%, 60% and 90% community milestones so you can obtain all three Contegorus pieces.
- Set aside 500 Moonflesh for the Dhampyre Syandana and 375 for the Vacis Amp Skin if those are priorities.
- Then choose the Khadati Sumdali, glyphs, sigils, emblems, Krios Signa and Honoria according to your collection goals.
If you missed earlier event items
Start with the returning rewards you cannot obtain elsewhere during this operation, such as the Basmu Blueprint, Spectra Vandal, Haalvu, Naktavyre pieces, Valdur’s Syandana and the Supulchrax skins. Their exact prices and limits should be read from Praghasa because the published price list does not specify every one.
One-time limits and deadline
The Legendary Core is a one-time purchase. Each Tauforged Archon Shard type is also listed as a one-time purchase. By contrast, the reported limits allow up to 25 Kuva purchases, 100 Credit purchases and 300 Endo purchases. Arcanes are reported to allow up to 42 purchases, or two full stacks.
All spending must be completed by November 17, 2026. The operation ends on that date, and its event dialogue is not scheduled to return. Digital Extremes explicitly states that Taubound will not rerun, so unspent Moonflesh cannot be safely treated as a currency for a future rotation.

Taubound versus the permanent Tau Prologue
| Feature | Epoch Operation: Taubound | Tau Prologue |
|---|---|---|
| Availability | October 15–November 17, 2026; one-time event | Permanent Codex quest |
| Access requirement | Vor’s Prize; Eris gates lifted during the event | The Hex and The Old Peace |
| Main activity | Eris missions, Infested kills, Tactical Alerts and Praghasa’s shop | Quest progression |
| Event-shop rewards | Yes: cosmetics, returning gear, resources, shards, arcanes and Legendary Core | No |

- Run Eris missions and Tactical Alerts until you have enough Moonflesh for your priority items.
- Check Praghasa for newly unlocked Contegorus pieces as community progress reaches 30%, 60% and 90%.
- Buy one-time items before repeatable resources if you want the Legendary Core or Tauforged shards.
- Use Praghasa’s live prices and remaining-quantity indicators rather than relying only on an older price table.
- Spend all desired Moonflesh and read each daily narrative update before November 17, 2026.
