The best electrician websites make three decisions obvious within seconds: whether the contractor is qualified, whether it serves the visitor’s location, and exactly how to request help. The 19 examples below show different ways to achieve that for emergency repairs, scheduled residential work, commercial contracts, industrial projects, specialist installations, and recruiting.
Use the examples as patterns, not templates to copy. A site built for urgent domestic call-outs should not force visitors through the same path as a site selling large commercial projects or recruiting apprentices.
What the 19 examples reveal
Colorlib’s September 8, 2026 roundup says it opened each live site in a browser and checked all 19 against the same six practical criteria. The results are useful as a pattern survey, not as a performance ranking: the counts show what contractors choose to display, not which design generates the most revenue.
The Tool Desk
Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →- 10 of 19 display a tappable phone number above the fold.
- 13 of 19 show a phone number somewhere on the page.
- 12 of 19 state a licence or insurance claim on the homepage.
- 10 of 19 name a service area.
- 5 of 19 mention emergency or 24/7 cover.
- 10 of 19 include a quote form on the homepage, but only 1 of 19 places that form above the fold.
That gap matters. A phone number supports a visitor who wants an immediate conversation; a form supports visitors who are comparing contractors or contacting you outside business hours. The strongest sites make the choice explicit instead of hiding both options in a generic Contact page.

What to learn from each example
1. Green Electrical: build navigation around specialist search intent
Green Electrical puts charger-specific destinations for Zappi, Hypervolt and Andersen A2 alongside a phone number and NICEIC approval in the title area. A visitor searching for a particular charger can reach a relevant page without first translating a broad “electrical services” menu. The lesson is to name the equipment, certification or job type customers actually search for, then make the contact action persistent.
2. CSI Electrical Contractors: let project evidence do the selling
CSI uses commercial project photography and repeats its phone contact while keeping careers beside project information. There is no homepage quote form. That is a rational choice when contracts require a conversation, drawings or a site visit rather than a quick price. A commercial contractor should explain project capability and provide a direct route to a person instead of forcing a procurement lead through a consumer-style form.
3. Kollmann Electric: ask when the customer wants the call
Kollmann’s “Best Time To Call” field turns a generic enquiry into a manageable callback. Owner-and-van photography supplies local human proof, while the two-town service area and licensing language answer basic qualification questions. If missed calls are common, one scheduling field can be more useful than adding many technical questions.
4. Kleinberg Electric: make the licence number concrete
Kleinberg places full licence numbers in a prominent band instead of relying on an unverified “licensed electrician” phrase. Showing the issuing jurisdiction and number, where local rules permit, gives a visitor something they can verify. Keep the claim current and explain insurance coverage separately; a badge without a number is weaker evidence than a plainly stated credential.
5. O’Connell Electric Company: separate markets from services
O’Connell divides navigation into Services and Markets and keeps a 24/7 emergency bar visible. A facility manager can enter through the market that matches the property while an urgent caller can act immediately. This structure scales better than a single long service list when the same technical work is sold to different industries.

- 5-in-1 USB-C Hub: Experience comprehensive connectivity featuring a Power Delivery input, two USB-A 2.0 ports, a USB-A 3.0 port, and an HDMI port. (Note: The USB-C power delivery input port is only for connecting an external wall charger to power your laptop and cannot power peripheral devices.)
- 90W Pass-Through Charging: Achieve optimal charging with 90W pass-through power to your laptop, supported by a total input of 100W, with the hub reserving 10W for operational efficiency. (Note: Wall charger not included.)
- Quick Data Transfers: Accelerate your productivity with rapid data transfers using a high-speed 5Gbps USB 3.0 port and two 480Mbps USB 2.0 ports.
- 4K HDMI Display: Enhance your visual experience with a hub capable of delivering 4K resolution at 30Hz in both mirror and extend modes. Please note that this hub is compatible with MacBook (macOS 12 and newer), Windows 10 and 11, ChromeOS, and laptops equipped with DP Alt Mode and Power Delivery. Note: This device is not compatible with Linux.
- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (5-in-1, 4K HDMI), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
6. New Electric: remove menu decisions when one action matters
New Electric uses a three-item menu and one “Get a Quote” hero call to action. The restrained information architecture suits an industrial firm whose visitors already know they need a project discussion. Fewer choices work when the business has a narrow offer; do not copy the minimal menu if customers need separate paths for emergencies, maintenance and installations.

One free scan finds every outdated or missing driver and matches the right update for your exact hardware.Free scan · exact hardware match7. Gator Electric: route emergencies and estimates differently
Gator uses a red Call action for immediate help and a gold Free Estimate action for planned work. Its licence number, address, rating card and four-field form reinforce both paths. Color and wording should make the distinction understandable without relying on color alone, and the emergency button should connect to a number answered during the hours you advertise.
8. JTM Electrical: handle objections in a compact strip
JTM places free estimates, a phone number and 24/7 service in an under-hero strip. That small area answers three common objections—cost of asking, how to reach the company and whether help is available now—before the visitor reads the rest of the page. A compact reassurance bar is useful when the header cannot hold every detail.
9. Bitz Electrical: use the hero form only when it stays short
Bitz is the only one of the 19 with a quote form in the hero. It asks for four details, allows an optional photo upload, names a suburb-level service area and shows five trust badges. Above-fold capture works here because the form remains concise and the optional image helps diagnose a job without blocking submission. Make the next step explicit, such as when a coordinator will call.
10. Randy’s Electric: frame proof as “local,” but watch friction
Randy’s uses “Local Proof” navigation, a service area, financing information and an eight-field form. The structure is strong for visitors comparing a larger purchase, but eight fields can reduce completion on a phone. Keep only information needed for the first response, and collect measurements or detailed equipment data after contact.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →11. Contract Electrical: put location and phone language in the headline
Contract Electrical leads with the phone, “Licensed WA Electricians,” a Bayswater location and “Perth Electrical Contractors.” Those phrases serve both people and local search engines because they identify the jurisdiction and city without vague “we serve everywhere” wording. Match every location claim to the areas you actually dispatch to.

- Sleek 7-in-1 USB-C Hub: Features an HDMI port, two USB-A 3.0 ports, and a USB-C data port, each providing 5Gbps transfer speeds. It also includes a USB-C PD input port for charging up to 100W and dual SD and TF card slots, all in a compact design.
- Flawless 4K@60Hz Video with HDMI: Delivers exceptional clarity and smoothness with its 4K@60Hz HDMI port, making it ideal for high-definition presentations and entertainment. (Note: Only the HDMI port supports video projection; the USB-C port is for data transfer only.)
- Double Up on Efficiency: The two USB-A 3.0 ports and a USB-C port support a fast 5Gbps data rate, significantly boosting your transfer speeds and improving productivity.
- Fast and Reliable 85W Charging: Offers high-capacity, speedy charging for laptops up to 85W, so you spend less time tethered to an outlet and more time being productive.
- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (7-in-1), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
12. Beel Electrical: create pages for problems, not just trades
Beel offers dedicated Defect Notice and Thermal Imaging pages, booking, tap-to-call contact and an outage-map link. Problem-specific pages catch visitors who may not describe their need as “electrical services.” Explain what the inspection includes, what documentation the customer receives and when an outage map is informational rather than a substitute for calling emergency services.
13. Hall Electrical: let building type choose the path
Hall combines a registration number with a four-field form and segmentation by building type. Residential, commercial and other property owners can see a relevant route without scanning an undifferentiated list. A short qualification question is worthwhile when the answer changes the team, equipment or compliance process.
14. Atkins Electric: publish hours beside the service area
Atkins puts opening hours next to its service area and uses a five-field form with no required fields. This sets a realistic response expectation and avoids rejecting a visitor who does not yet know every job detail. If no fields are technically required, explain which information helps you respond faster so the form still produces usable leads.

15. Industrial Electric Services: treat recruiting as a primary audience
Industrial Electric Services places careers and an employee portal in the main navigation. That choice acknowledges that workforce supply can be as important as customer acquisition for an industrial contractor. Separate applicant content from client case studies, explain the roles and locations available, and keep the client contact route visible.
16. JMCorp & Son: show bid qualifications where buyers can see them
JMCorp & Son places IBEW local affiliations and a women’s business enterprise badge in the hero. Public and commercial buyers often screen for eligibility before requesting a proposal, so qualification evidence belongs near the first project message rather than buried on an About page. Display only current certifications and link each badge to an authoritative verification page when one exists.
17. Gibbs Electric Company: make photography carry a premium position
Gibbs uses finished-lighting photography and a design-led color palette to present electrical work as part of a luxury visual outcome. That approach is persuasive for architectural and decorative projects, but it is not optimized for urgent call-outs. If you serve both markets, give emergency visitors a distinct route instead of making them search through a portfolio.

- Please Note: To reach 10Gbps speed, keep the cable under 3.3 ft. For USB A Male to USB C adapters, try flipping the USB C connector. USB C Male to USB A adapters support bidirectional 10Gbps transfer within 3.3 ft
18. Withrow Electric: give every common job its own landing path
Withrow assigns menu items to inspections, rewiring, new construction and panel upgrades, then states its coverage area. Each task can have its own explanation, photos, preparation advice and call to action. This is more useful than one “Services” page when the jobs have different buyers, prices and safety considerations.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems19. High Class Electric: qualify geography while reinforcing trust
High Class Electric combines a “Your Town” form field with a full licence number, repeated phone contact, financing information and an FAQ. The town field prevents wasted enquiries outside the dispatch area; the licence and phone details answer trust and access questions; financing supports larger planned work. Keep the FAQ focused on genuine objections and avoid repeating every service description.
How to build an electrician website that gets calls
1. Choose the primary visitor and action
Decide whether the homepage is primarily for emergency callers, scheduled residential jobs, commercial project buyers, industrial clients, applicants, or a specialist such as EV-charger customers. Put one dominant action in the hero—Call, Request an Estimate, Book an Inspection or Discuss a Project—and a secondary action for the other important audience.
2. Make the first screen usable on a phone
- Place a tap-to-call number in the header and hero.
- Use a descriptive button label instead of “Submit” or “Learn More.”
- Keep the first screen readable without opening a menu.
- Test the buttons with one hand on iOS and Android at normal text size.
The number must reach a person or a clearly stated voicemail process. Do not advertise 24/7 response if calls are only returned during office hours.
3. Publish verifiable trust evidence
- State the licence or registration jurisdiction and number when appropriate.
- Describe insurance accurately, including any relevant limits or exclusions.
- Show current certifications, trade affiliations and procurement badges.
- Use real team, vehicle, completed-installation and project photographs.
- Display reviews with the customer’s permission and identify the platform or date when context matters.
Never use a generic badge to imply a credential you do not hold. Assign an owner and review date to every licence and certification claim.

4. Name the service area precisely
List towns, suburbs, counties or regions instead of only saying “local.” Create a service-area page only for places you genuinely cover, and explain any travel fees or boundary conditions. A town field in the form can stop out-of-area leads, but it should not replace a visible coverage list.

- 5-in-1 Connectivity: Equipped with a 4K HDMI port, a 5 Gbps USB-C data port, two 5 Gbps USB-A ports, and a USB C 100W PD-IN port. Note: The USB C 100W PD-IN port supports only charging and does not support data transfer devices such as headphones or speakers.
- Powerful Pass-Through Charging: Supports up to 85W pass-through charging so you can power up your laptop while you use the hub. Note: Pass-through charging requires a charger (not included). Note: To achieve full power for iPad, we recommend using a 45W wall charger.
- Transfer Files in Seconds: Move files to and from your laptop at speeds of up to 5 Gbps via the USB-C and USB-A data ports. Note: The USB C 5Gbps Data port does not support video output.
- HD Display: Connect to the HDMI port to stream or mirror content to an external monitor in resolutions of up to 4K@30Hz. Note: The USB-C ports do not support video output.
- What You Get: Anker 332 USB-C Hub (5-in-1), welcome guide, our worry-free 18-month warranty, and friendly customer service.
5. Organize services by customer language
Use equipment names, problems and jobs as navigation labels: panel upgrade, rewiring, thermal imaging, defect inspection, EV charger installation or new construction. Give each major service a page with scope, typical preparation, safety limits, photos, relevant qualifications and a clear next action. Separate residential, commercial and industrial paths when their proof and buying process differ.
6. Design separate emergency and planned-work flows
An emergency page should state the number to call, hours, locations covered and what conditions require emergency services. A planned-work page can offer an estimate form, booking calendar, financing information and examples of finished work. Do not make urgent visitors complete a long quote form before they can see a phone number.
7. Keep quote forms short and explain the handoff
Start with name, phone or email, location, service type and a short description. Add a preferred callback time or optional photo upload only when it improves triage. After submission, tell the visitor what happens next, who will contact them and the expected response window. Connect submissions to a shared inbox or customer system so no request depends on one employee’s personal email.
8. Add local search fundamentals
- Use the real business name, address and service area consistently.
- Keep opening hours and emergency availability current.
- Write page titles and headings that combine the service with the relevant location.
- Maintain a complete Google Business Profile and link the website’s contact details to it.
- Publish useful answers to local customer questions rather than creating thin pages for every suburb.
9. Select a platform around workflow, not fashion
The 19 reviewed sites use WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow, Duda and GoDaddy. Jobber’s May 28, 2026 guide also lists Wix, Squarespace, WordPress and GoDaddy as builder choices and documents Google Business Profile integration, quote-request forms, client login portals and request tracking. Choose based on who will edit the site, how quickly pages must change, whether online booking is required, and how leads move into dispatch and follow-up. A visually flexible platform is not useful if staff cannot update hours or answer enquiries.
10. Measure the path from visit to booked job
Track phone taps, completed forms, booking starts, booking completions, service-area mismatches, response time and booked-job value. Review these by landing page and device. A form with many submissions can still be poor if most are outside the service area; a phone button with fewer clicks may be valuable if callers book high-margin work. Use call recording or consented notes in accordance with local privacy rules.
Common mistakes and practical fixes
| Problem | Why it loses work | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Phone number hidden in the footer | Mobile visitors cannot act during the first decision | Use a tap-to-call header or hero button. |
| “Licensed” with no jurisdiction or number | Visitors cannot verify the claim | Publish current registration details where permitted. |
| Generic “we serve your area” wording | Creates uncertainty and out-of-area leads | Name towns, suburbs or regions and ask for location in the form. |
| One form for emergencies and estimates | Urgent callers face unnecessary friction | Provide a direct call route and a separate planned-work form. |
| Eight or more required fields | People abandon forms on phones | Collect the minimum needed for a first response; gather detail later. |
| Stock photos only | They do not prove your team or workmanship | Add current project, vehicle, team and finished-installation images. |
| Portfolio without project context | Prospects cannot judge relevance | Label the job type, property type, location and scope. |
| Out-of-date hours or certificates | Creates failed calls and compliance risk | Assign a monthly owner and visible review date. |
| Careers buried in the footer | Applicants leave before finding openings | Give recruiting a main-navigation path when hiring is strategic. |
Launch checklist
- Can a visitor tap the correct phone number without scrolling?
- Does the first screen identify the primary service and location?
- Are licence, registration, insurance and affiliation statements accurate and current?
- Can an emergency caller avoid a long form?
- Does every major service have a page written in customer language?
- Are service areas, opening hours and response expectations explicit?
- Do forms ask only for information needed to route the enquiry?
- Does the confirmation message explain the next step?
- Are project and team photos genuine, recent and captioned?
- Can staff update content and receive every lead without technical help?
- Have phone taps, forms and bookings been tested on real mobile devices?
The Bottom Line
Use the examples according to your business model: make urgent contact unmistakable, prove licensing and insurance, name the places you serve, show real work, and keep the first conversion step short. The right electrician website is not the one with the most features; it is the one that gets the right visitor to the right action without uncertainty.
