No: Nacon’s Revolution 5 Pro is not documented as having a built-in display. Its touch pad and status LEDs are controls and indicators, not a screen for menus or settings. The mix-up may come from the separate Revolution 5 Unlimited, which TechRadar reported on October 2, 2026, as having a built-in control screen.
Does the Nacon Revolution 5 Pro have a screen?
Nacon’s product information, support materials and manual describe the Revolution 5 Pro’s touch pad, LEDs, physical controls and companion app, but do not document an onboard display. The touch pad is used for audio controls; the LEDs provide status information. Neither is a visual menu.
The built-in screen belongs to a different model in current reporting: TechRadar’s October 2, 2026 report identifies the Revolution 5 Unlimited as the Nacon controller with a built-in control screen. Do not assume the Unlimited’s screen features apply to the Revolution 5 Pro.
How do you change settings on the Revolution 5 Pro?
The controller has a classic mode for certain adjustments on the device and an advanced mode configured through Nacon’s Revolution 5 Pro app. Nacon says advanced mode offers more than 60 setting variations. It also supplies four advanced profiles: racing/sports, FPS, arcade/fighting and infiltration. These are presets, not guarantees of better performance.

Adjustments available without the app
- Map the four rear shortcut buttons.
- Adjust trigger travel with the trigger-stop position.
- Control audio using the touch pad.
These documented controls do not provide an onboard visual settings menu. The available documentation does not establish that users can change advanced profiles without the app.
Configure advanced mode with the app
- Install the Revolution 5 Pro companion app on a PC or Mac.
- Connect the controller to that computer and set the controller to wired mode.
- Set the platform switch to PS5 or PS4.
- Select advanced mode and follow the app’s instructions to configure settings or profiles.
- Exit the app to save the changes. Nacon warns that disconnecting or turning off the controller without exiting the app will not save them.
This is an app-host workflow, not confirmation that the controller supports Mac gameplay. Nacon’s support FAQ lists PS5, PS4 and Windows PC for controller gaming and says the controller is not compatible with Mac.

How does the controller show battery and status information?
The manual describes LEDs rather than a display. When connected to PS5 through the USB dongle, battery level appears in the PS5 interface. In other listed connection or platform cases, tap the back of the controller twice and read the LEDs beneath the touch pad.
Nacon’s product specifications claim more than 10 hours of battery life. That is a manufacturer specification, not an independent test result; the manual notes that play time depends on enabled features and the game.

What are the Revolution 5 Pro’s feature limits?
- No PS5 haptic feedback: Nacon says the controller has no haptic feedback. This is distinct from conventional vibration.
- Vibration is limited by platform and game: Nacon says vibration motors work with PC and PS4 games, but not dedicated PS5 games.
- No macros: Nacon says the controller does not support macro functions.
Nacon lists the Revolution 5 Pro as compatible with PS5, PS4 and Windows PC. Its software customization and physical controls should not be mistaken for the Unlimited’s reported screen-based controls.
