Gyre’s public pricing and terms pages do not confirm whether Indian subscribers can receive an Indian GST tax invoice or add a GSTIN to one. Gyre’s terms do say subscriptions are charged recurrently and that taxes may apply, but that is not a promise of a GST invoice. Before subscribing—or relying on a receipt for tax records—ask Gyre billing for written confirmation of the supplier entity, invoice fields, and GSTIN process.
What Gyre’s published billing information establishes
Gyre sells a hosted service for running continuous streams of prerecorded video. Its public pricing information describes subscription plans and billing options; its terms describe recurring subscription charges and cancellation before a renewal date. Those pages do not settle the specific question Indian creators need answered: whether Gyre issues an Indian GST tax invoice, accepts a customer GSTIN, or prints that GSTIN on the billing document.
Gyre’s Terms of Service state: “If You purchase a Subscription, the payment instrument You specified will be automatically charged for Services and tax charges, if applicable, at the beginning of each Subscription period for the corresponding period.” This confirms only that applicable taxes may be charged. It does not establish that the tax is Indian GST, identify the supplier for an Indian customer, or guarantee a GST-compliant invoice.
The absence of those details from the public pages reviewed is not proof that Gyre cannot issue such an invoice. It means you should not assume that a payment receipt or standard invoice will meet your GST documentation needs until Gyre confirms the particulars in writing.

What to ask Gyre billing before you pay
Contact Gyre support and keep the response with your subscription records. Ask directly, rather than relying on a generic statement that taxes may apply:
- Will Gyre issue a tax invoice for the first subscription payment and for each renewal?
- Which legal entity supplies the subscription to an Indian customer? Ask for its legal name, address, and GSTIN, if applicable.
- Can you enter your GSTIN before payment, and will the invoice show it? If there is a billing-address or state requirement, ask how to enter those details correctly.
- Will the invoice show an invoice number and issue date, a description of the service, taxable value, and applicable tax details or breakup?
- If you have already paid, can Gyre correct or reissue the document with your business details? Ask about the process and any deadline.
Save the written reply, the invoice or receipt, and proof of payment. If Gyre’s response is unclear, ask for a sample invoice with sensitive customer information removed before subscribing.

How to assess the document you receive
CBIC’s published tax-invoice rules identify particulars such as the supplier’s name, address and GSTIN; a consecutive serial number; the issue date; a description and value of the supply; and other details required for the transaction. Recipient details are required in the circumstances set out in the rules. Treat these as a checklist to discuss with your accountant, not as a guarantee that a particular Gyre document qualifies as a GST tax invoice.
Whether a document supports your tax records or any input tax credit depends on your registration status, the transaction, the supplier, and the rules applicable to your circumstances. A document that merely records a payment or says that tax may apply should not automatically be treated as proof of an Indian GST charge.

Why another digital service’s GST process is not a guide to Gyre
Google’s India Payments guidance, for example, says that for Google purchases a GSTIN should match the state in the bill-to address and explains tax treatment with reference to supplier and recipient locations. That guidance applies to Google purchases only. It does not establish Gyre’s supplier location, tax treatment, invoice format, or GSTIN workflow.
