Yes—Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Halloween content has returned in consecutive years, making another rerun a reasonable expectation. Gameloft has not promised that the Halloween Town recipes will return in 2027 or later, however. The safest assumption is that these are recurring seasonal rewards, not permanently available blueprints.
The 2025 and 2026 Trick or Treat events establish a pattern, while also showing that access is controlled by each year’s event rules. If you missed a recipe, watch for the next October announcement, check whether the recipe is tied to a milestone again, and look for a mail-based recovery option such as the one used for Mickey’s Halloween Candy Bowl.
What the 2025 and 2026 events prove
There are two consecutive examples of Halloween event content returning. Gameloft’s 2025 announcement described the Trick or Treat event as “BACK” and scheduled it for October 15–31, 2025. The announcement referred to returning pumpkin rewards and added a recovery method for players who had not unlocked Mickey’s Halloween Candy Bowl recipe: the recipe would be delivered by in-game mail.

Two years of returns are meaningful evidence, but they are not a forward-looking guarantee. None of the cited announcements promises a 2027 event, says every recipe will return unchanged, or creates a permanent archive from which players can claim every missed blueprint.
How the 2026 Halloween recipes were unlocked
In 2026, the four Halloween Town crafting recipes were attached to Sweet n’ Scary milestone counts. Players advanced by completing trick-or-treat interactions, then received a recipe at each threshold. The announcement gave the following requirements and candy costs:

The candy figures are the amounts stated for each color in the 2026 announcement. In other words, the Mausoleum requires five of each listed candy color, not five candies total. The same pattern applies to the other three recipes.

Why the milestone method matters
A recipe can return but still be inaccessible in the same way as before. In 2026, simply owning the game or having played a previous Halloween event did not substitute for the interaction milestones. A future rerun could retain the thresholds, alter them, attach recipes to a different achievement, or introduce an entirely new reward track. When a new event is announced, the unlock condition matters as much as the reward list.
Mickey’s Halloween Candy Bowl has a separate recovery path
Mickey’s Halloween Candy Bowl is the clearest example of a missed recipe being recoverable without waiting for a new milestone. Gameloft’s 2025 announcement said that players who had not unlocked the recipe would receive it by mail. The 2026 announcement repeated that arrangement: at the start of the event, the recipe was supplied to accounts that were missing it.
This mail delivery should not be treated as proof that every Halloween recipe can be recovered the same way. The announcements specifically identify Mickey’s Halloween Candy Bowl. They do not state that the Halloween Town Fence, Gravestone, Graveyard Statue or Mausoleum will be mailed to players who missed their milestones. A future notice may add a similar recovery method, but it must be confirmed for that event.

What to do if you missed a Halloween Town recipe
There is no published permanent recovery system for all missed Halloween crafting recipes. The practical approach is to prepare for the next official event rather than assume an old blueprint can be obtained at any time.

Check the announcement for the exact opening and closing dates instead of relying on a recurring calendar date.
- Read the reward and unlock sections before spending materials. Confirm whether the old recipes are returning, whether new Halloween rewards have replaced them, and whether access uses trick-or-treat milestones, another achievement, a puzzle or a mail delivery.
- Check in-game mail when the event begins. Mickey’s Halloween Candy Bowl demonstrates that Gameloft can distribute a missing recipe directly. Look for a message at event start before assuming the recipe is unavailable.
- Track every stated milestone. If the event again uses interaction counts, record progress at 1, 5, 10 and 20 or whatever thresholds the new announcement lists. Do not stop after earning the first reward if your goal is the Mausoleum or another later item.
- Keep the required candy available until the recipe is secured. In 2026, the four recipes consumed increasing amounts of red, green and purple candy. Spending those materials elsewhere before reaching the relevant milestone could leave you unable to craft immediately, even after the recipe unlocks.
- Finish before the published closing time. The 2025 event ended October 31, and the 2026 event also ended October 31. A future event may use a different deadline. Treat the end date as a hard cutoff unless Gameloft announces an extension.
Are the recipes likely to return unchanged?
Another Halloween rerun is plausible; an identical reward track is not established. The 2025 event was promoted as a return with changes and a brand-new reward, while 2026 brought back the seasonal format and specified a four-recipe milestone track. That combination suggests Gameloft may refresh the event while preserving recognizable Halloween activities.

- Will a Halloween event return? Consecutive returns in 2025 and 2026 make this a reasonable expectation.
- Will this exact recipe return through the same method? The available announcements do not guarantee that. The item could return with different thresholds, appear in a revised reward set, or be omitted from a particular year.
Do not interpret the phrase “returning event” as a promise that every historical reward is permanently attached to it. In the 2026 notices, the returning-event language confirms the seasonal format, while the detailed milestone list defines what was actually available that year.
How to compare a future rerun with 2026
When Gameloft publishes the next Halloween announcement, compare it against the 2026 event using five concrete points:

What is not known about 2027 and later
No cited Gameloft announcement guarantees a 2027 or later Trick or Treat event. There is also no stated policy promising that Halloween Town recipes will remain obtainable after an event closes, no published archive where every past recipe can be claimed, and no assurance that the candy requirements will remain at the 2026 levels.
That uncertainty is important for players deciding whether to wait. Waiting for a rerun may work, as it did between 2025 and 2026, but it carries the risk that a future event changes its rewards or omits a particular item. Conversely, the existence of two consecutive events means that treating a missed recipe as permanently lost would go beyond the evidence.
Bottom line for players who missed the event
Expect Halloween crafting content to have a fair chance of returning, because the Trick or Treat event came back in both 2025 and 2026. Do not regard that pattern as a guarantee. The 2026 Halloween Town Fence, Gravestone, Graveyard Statue and Mausoleum were milestone rewards requiring 1, 5, 10 and 20 trick-or-treat interactions, with matching red, green and purple candy costs of 1, 2, 3 and 5 each. Mickey’s Halloween Candy Bowl had a separate mail-based recovery path, but no equivalent all-recipes recovery system has been announced.
For the next opportunity, follow Gameloft’s October announcement, verify the exact reward list and dates, check your mailbox at event start, and complete the stated milestones before the closing date.
