Digital Eclipse’s Toy Story bundle contains two separate games: Toy Story: Retro Roundup!, a preservation-focused collection of 11 versions spanning six underlying games, and Toy Story 3 Complete Edition, the 3D film-based adventure with its Story and Toy Box modes. The bundle is listed for Nintendo Switch (with supported Switch 2 compatibility), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Cloud Gaming, PC through Steam, and—according to a recent format listing—PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The listed release date is October 15, 2026.
What exactly is in the Toy Story bundle?
The package combines two distinct experiences rather than presenting one remastered campaign.
Toy Story: Retro Roundup!
Retro Roundup! gathers 11 console and handheld versions built from six underlying games. The games named in the Xbox listing are:
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute- Toy Story (1995)
- Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue! (1999)
- Toy Story 2 (1999)
- Buzz Lightyear of Star Command (2000)
- Toy Story Racer (2001)
- A Bug’s Life (1998)
Nintendo describes the contents as console and handheld versions of four early Toy Story games alongside A Bug’s Life. That wording emphasizes the original hardware variants; the Xbox description supplies the broader six-game breakdown. Therefore, “11 games” means 11 versions or releases, not 11 wholly different underlying titles.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Toy Story 3 Complete Edition
This is the 3D adventure tied to the 2010 film. Story Mode follows major film situations, while Toy Box Mode is a customizable Wild West sandbox where you can build and play more freely. The playable cast includes Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Jessie. Complete Edition also adds Evil Emperor Zurg and four themed content packs that had previously been limited to particular versions.
The two products serve different purposes: Retro Roundup! is a historical game archive with modern conveniences, while Toy Story 3 Complete Edition is a contemporary console-style adventure with cooperative play and sandbox tools.
Release date and supported platforms
Nintendo and Xbox list October 15, 2026 as the release date. Availability, storefront pricing and physical stock can still differ by country and platform, so check the regional listing attached to the edition you intend to buy.

| PC (Steam) | Steam sells the double pack | Steam lists Steam Cloud, shared/split-screen play and Remote Play Together for the bundle. |
| PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 | A recent review lists both formats | The cited official Nintendo and Xbox pages do not establish every PlayStation SKU detail. |
The platform evidence does not prove that every edition contains identical extras, menus or control options. Confirm the product page for your region before purchase, especially when choosing between a current-generation and last-generation console version.

What features does Retro Roundup! add to the original games?
Digital Eclipse’s collection layers preservation and accessibility tools over the historical software. The documented additions are:
- Rewind: reverse recent gameplay mistakes instead of restarting an entire section. Xbox specifically describes using Rewind to fix mistakes.
- Rex’s Cheat Codes: optional aids include unlimited lives and invincibility.
- Enhanced How to Play instructions: updated guidance makes unfamiliar control schemes easier to understand.
- Practice Mode: a way to rehearse sections without treating every attempt as a full run.
- Music player: listen to each included game’s soundtrack from a dedicated menu.
- Interviews and virtual museum: design documents, development photographs and other archival material provide context around the games.
These options are especially useful because the bundle spans different eras and hardware styles. Rewind and practice tools reduce the friction of older difficulty design, while the museum and interviews explain how the games were made. They do not turn the underlying titles into newly designed games; the appeal remains in comparing their original versions and presentation.
Does Toy Story 3 Complete Edition support co-op?
Yes. Nintendo and Xbox listings specify two-player local co-op in both Story Mode and Toy Box Mode. “Local” means both players are using the same console session; the cited listings do not promise online matchmaking or cross-platform play.
Story Mode co-op
Two players can work through the film-based adventure together. The documented character roster includes Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Jessie, with Complete Edition content adding Evil Emperor Zurg and four themed packs. The listings do not define whether every character or pack is available at every point in the campaign, so treat the additional content as edition-wide extras rather than a guarantee about immediate access.

- Sleek 7-in-1 USB-C Hub: Features an HDMI port, two USB-A 3.0 ports, and a USB-C data port, each providing 5Gbps transfer speeds. It also includes a USB-C PD input port for charging up to 100W and dual SD and TF card slots, all in a compact design.
- Flawless 4K@60Hz Video with HDMI: Delivers exceptional clarity and smoothness with its 4K@60Hz HDMI port, making it ideal for high-definition presentations and entertainment. (Note: Only the HDMI port supports video projection; the USB-C port is for data transfer only.)
- Double Up on Efficiency: The two USB-A 3.0 ports and a USB-C port support a fast 5Gbps data rate, significantly boosting your transfer speeds and improving productivity.
- Fast and Reliable 85W Charging: Offers high-capacity, speedy charging for laptops up to 85W, so you spend less time tethered to an outlet and more time being productive.
- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (7-in-1), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
Toy Box Mode co-op
Toy Box Mode supports the same two-player local arrangement while you use the customizable Wild West sandbox. This is the mode to choose when you want cooperative experimentation rather than a linear retelling of the movie.
How does multiplayer work in Retro Roundup! and on PC?
Multiplayer features vary by product and storefront.
| Content | Documented multiplayer | Connection type |
|---|---|---|
| Toy Story 3 Complete Edition | Two-player co-op in Story Mode and Toy Box Mode | Local co-op on Nintendo and Xbox listings |
| Retro Roundup! on Xbox | Local multiplayer and shared/split screen are marked | Same-console play; the listing does not promise online cross-play |
| Bundle on Steam | Shared/split-screen PvP and co-op, plus Remote Play Together | Local-style play or Steam’s Remote Play Together feature |
Remote Play Together lets a Steam host invite another player to participate remotely in a supported shared session. It is a Steam feature, not evidence that Nintendo, Xbox and PC players can join one another. No cited official page promises online cross-play, so do not buy the bundle expecting Switch-versus-Xbox or console-versus-PC multiplayer.
Can you use cloud saves?
Yes, but the available cloud-save system depends on the platform account you use.

| Platform | Save feature listed | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Nintendo Switch | Save Data Cloud | A Nintendo Switch Online membership is sold separately; the listing does not establish transfer to Xbox, Steam or PlayStation. |
| Xbox | Xbox cloud saves | The listing does not promise a save shared with the Nintendo or PC versions. |
| Steam | Steam Cloud | Steam Cloud does not establish compatibility with console save files. |
Cloud synchronization normally applies within the same platform ecosystem and account. The storefront descriptions do not establish shared cross-platform save transfer, so assume that a Switch save cannot be moved to Xbox, PlayStation or Steam unless a future platform notice explicitly says otherwise. Before changing consoles, verify that the destination edition uses the same account system and that synchronization has completed on the original device.
Is there a physical double pack?
Creative Bloq’s 2026 review reports a physical double pack priced at $49.99 in the United States and £39.99 in the United Kingdom, alongside digital pricing of $24.99 or £22.49 per game. Those are review-date prices, not guaranteed current prices. Retail prices, stock and regional editions can change.
The available descriptions confirm the existence of a reported physical double-pack SKU but do not specify whether every region uses separate discs, a cartridge, a download code or another arrangement. Check the package photography, back-of-box requirements and your retailer’s listing before ordering. Digital storefront pages are the safer way to confirm which two products are included in a particular regional bundle.

Choose based on your multiplayer setup
- For two people on one Nintendo or Xbox console, Toy Story 3 Complete Edition offers the clearest documented co-op: two players in both modes.
- For Xbox local shared/split-screen play in the retro collection, use the Xbox edition where the store marks those features.
- For PC friends who cannot be in the same room, Steam’s Remote Play Together is the only documented remote option in the supplied listings.
- Do not assume online cross-play between console families or PC; no cited official page promises it.
Choose based on saves and hardware
Stay within the ecosystem where your existing saves live if continuity matters. Switch users should use Nintendo’s Save Data Cloud, Xbox users Xbox cloud saves and Steam users Steam Cloud. Switch 2 owners can use the supported Switch edition, with behavior described as consistent with Switch. Players moving between ecosystems should plan as though they will start new saves.
Choose based on archival interest
Retro Roundup! is more than a menu of old games: its museum, interviews, development photos, design documents, music player, practice mode, rewind and optional cheats make it the stronger choice for preservation-minded players. If you only want the 2010 film’s adventure and sandbox, Toy Story 3 Complete Edition is the focused purchase when sold separately.
Common buying and setup pitfalls
Confusing versions with unique games
The headline number is 11, but those are versions of six underlying games. If you are comparing the collection with another retro compilation, count both the unique titles and the hardware variants.

Multiplayer labels differ by storefront. Nintendo and Xbox document local two-player co-op for Toy Story 3 Complete Edition; Xbox marks local multiplayer and shared/split-screen for Retro Roundup!; Steam adds Remote Play Together. Verify the exact platform page rather than relying on a general bundle description.
Expecting a universal save file
Cloud saves are platform-specific services. They protect progress inside an ecosystem but are not evidence of cross-platform transfer.
Reading a review price as a permanent price
