What is the Hundred Hands Monk build?
The Hundred Hands Monk guide describes a loop in which rapid basic attacks build stacks, dodges help restore mana, and dodging also supports physical damage. The Hundred Hands rune set is recommended for bonuses to basic attacks and Furious Fist. These mechanics and synergies are the community guide’s account, rather than independently confirmed game documentation.
The idea is to make attacks, dodges, and resource recovery work together. It is not a reason to ignore survivability: the guide warns that ground poison, lingering area effects, and other unavoidable damage can still hurt you. Keep enough health, resistance, and movement to handle those threats, and change skills when an encounter calls for it.

How should you progress the build?
Use the guide’s progression as a starting point rather than a level-by-level rule. It proposes investing early in Dodge Chance and attack speed, then adding Mirror Steps, Zephyr’s Flow, Fundamentals, and Gathered Force. The exact point allocations are patch-sensitive, so confirm the current skills and talent effects in your client before spending points to match a precise level plan.
At each stage, ask what is holding you back: attacks may feel too slow, mana may run short, or avoidable and unavoidable damage may be overwhelming. Favor the guide’s attack-and-dodge synergies when they address the problem, but select specials around the encounter and adjust if the build is not performing well.

A secondary build overview says each class loadout uses one basic attack, one strong attack, and two specials, selected from four basic attacks, four strong attacks, and six specials. What gear stats should you look for?
The Hundred Hands guide recommends judging Rare and Epic drops by whether they strengthen the attack-and-dodge loop. You do not need to wait for a complete legendary setup to consider the build. Its suggested priorities vary by slot:

These are the guide’s priorities, not independently tested best-in-slot findings. Compare a candidate item with what you currently have: prioritize damage stats if your attacks are the bottleneck, or health and resistance if you are dying to damage that dodging cannot prevent. An older beta-era Monk checklist, last reviewed August 27, 2026, said exact skills and build paths were not yet confirmed. That predates the game’s September 28 release and the October 2 community build, so it should not be read as the current answer. The later guide provides a concrete proposal, but it remains community advice rather than official confirmation.
