Cyber Guru announced a $25 million Series B on 24 October 2024, with Riverside Acceleration Capital leading the round. The company said it would use the funding to advance its AI-driven training roadmap and expand sales and go-to-market operations across Europe.
What Cyber Guru’s platform does
Cyber Guru sells cybersecurity awareness training software to organisations. In its 2024 funding announcement, the company described automated training paths that use learning methodologies and a proprietary AI-driven machine-learning model. It says the platform aims to change employee behaviour and help organisations manage human cyber risk; those are company descriptions, not independent proof of training effectiveness.
CEO and founder Gianni Baroni described the mission as “improve an organisation’s resistance to cyberattacks, by transforming user behaviour.”
Who invested in the Series B
The $25 million round was announced on 24 October 2024. Riverside Acceleration Capital led it; Educapital, Adara Ventures and existing investors Adara Ventures and P101 Ventures participated. (Adara is listed among the participating investors, rather than separately characterized as a new investor.) Cyber Guru’s announcement and P101’s announcement cover the financing.
#1 Best Overall
P101 said its cumulative investment in Cyber Guru reached €6 million after its follow-on investment. That is P101’s total investment, not the size or currency of the Series B.
What the company said the money would fund
- Accelerating development of its AI-driven, contextual-training roadmap.
- Adding sales and marketing resources.
- Expanding go-to-market operations across Europe.
These were the company’s stated plans when the round was announced; they should not be read as confirmation that each expansion or product milestone has since been completed.

Cyber Guru’s reported reach at the time
In the October 2024 announcement, Cyber Guru reported more than 700 customer organisations and over one million active users in more than 90 countries. These are company-reported figures from that time, not audited market statistics. Riverside Acceleration Capital’s case study later described growth from 430 to more than 700 organisations and over one million active participants across 90 countries; its page does not establish a publication date, so the figures are best treated as investor-reported context rather than a dated update.

The round is a B2B software financing story, not a consumer product launch. The announcement explains Cyber Guru’s target use for the capital and reports customer reach, but it does not establish audited revenue, company valuation, or independent evidence of training effectiveness. Riverside partner Christian Stein praised the platform’s engagement and adaptive learning approach, but that is the lead investor’s assessment.
