TT Electronics Integrated Manufacturing Services (TT Electronics-IMS) received Cubic Global Defense’s Supplier Performance Award for 2014. Cubic cited IMS for quality, on-time delivery and customer service on two programs: MILES IWS, a tactical engagement training system, and the Personnel Locator System (PLS), used to support recovery of downed military personnel. EE Times reported the award on April 9, 2015.
What award did TT Electronics IMS receive?
Cubic Global Defense presented TT Electronics-IMS with its Supplier Performance Award for 2014. The award recognized suppliers that had demonstrated significant effort during the year. Mark R. Kray, then vice president and general manager for TT Electronics-IMS, said the recognition reflected the company’s commitment to reliable, on-time products and services for customers requiring advanced technology.
The announcement is historical: it concerns the 2014 award and was reported in 2015. It does not establish the companies’ current program, supplier, or corporate status.

Was the award for quality, delivery, or customer service?
Cubic cited all three: exceptional quality, on-time delivery, and customer service. The recognition was associated with IMS’s work on both MILES IWS and PLS; the report did not assign a separate award category to each program.
What does TT Electronics IMS manufacture?
The 2015 report characterized TT Electronics-IMS as a provider of low-volume, high-mix electronics manufacturing for aerospace and defense. Its stated capabilities included complex electronic and electromechanical assemblies, engineering, testing, and integration. TT Electronics-IMS was identified in that report as a wholly owned subsidiary of TT Electronics plc, which was described as an electronics supplier across sensing and control, components, and integrated manufacturing services. Those descriptions reflect the 2015 announcement and should not be read as confirmation of current corporate structure or operations.
