If Constant Contact is not working, first check its official status page. If it reports an incident, wait for Constant Contact to resolve it; if services are operational, work through browser and device checks, then use the steps below for login or verification-email problems.

Check whether Constant Contact is down

Open the Constant Contact status page and review the overall status. Expand the relevant service category—such as Campaign Creation or Contact Management—to see more specific status details and incident logs. If an incident is active, Constant Contact says its technicians are working on it; wait for resolution and use the page’s status notifications for updates rather than changing local settings.

Fix Constant Contact when it will not load or behave normally

If the status page shows services operating, use these checks to determine whether the problem is tied to your browser, device, or network environment. Test the site after each step so you can tell what changes the result.

  1. Confirm your browser is supported. Constant Contact recommends using a compatible browser. Its supported browsers and operating systems article lists its compatibility guidance.
  2. Try a private or incognito window. Sign in there and check whether the affected feature works. If it does, a browser extension, plugin, or cached file may be interfering.
  3. Clear the browser cache and cookies. Old cached files can prevent updated data from loading correctly. Sign in again and retry the same action.
  4. Temporarily disable browser extensions. Turn off add-ons, including ad blockers and security extensions, then refresh Constant Contact. If that fixes the problem, turn extensions back on one at a time to identify the conflict.
  5. Try another supported browser or device. If the problem persists, switch to another compatible browser or a different device. If Constant Contact works there, the issue is likely specific to the original browser or device.
  6. Update the operating system. If browser checks do not resolve the issue, check for available Windows or macOS updates. Constant Contact notes that outdated system components may contribute to certificate conflicts or degraded browser performance.

Use the symptom to choose the next step

  • Only one browser or device fails: focus on its cache, extensions, browser compatibility, and operating-system updates.
  • A private window works: investigate extensions and cached browser data.
  • A specific error message appears: look up that exact error in Constant Contact’s Knowledge Base. Its troubleshooting guidance includes examples such as “Request Entity Too Large,” “Whoops! Something’s not quite right,” certificate trust errors, and conflicts involving a newer email version. Do not assume every error has the same cause or fix.

Fix Constant Contact login and password problems

Forgotten username or password

For a forgotten username, request a reminder using the email address associated with the account. For a forgotten password, request a reset email and follow its instructions. Constant Contact says the password-reset link expires after one hour and can be used once. See its password reset instructions.

Constant Contact’s one-time login-link option is still being released and may not be available to every customer. Where available, the link or code works once and expires after ten minutes. These recovery options depend on access to the account’s email inbox; if you cannot access that inbox, contact Product Support.

Signing in with Google, Apple, or Facebook

Constant Contact supports sign-in through linked Google, Apple, or Facebook credentials. A linked provider does not replace the original Constant Contact credentials for certain account changes. Constant Contact says multi-factor authentication (MFA) is required for accounts that sign in directly; for linked social sign-in, enable MFA through the provider. See the linked sign-in guidance.

Verification code email not arriving

A verification message may be triggered when Constant Contact detects a new or unrecognized device, browser, or location, or after browser data is cleared or private browsing is used. Check the inbox for the account’s user email, then check spam or junk. On the verification screen, select “Send again” to request another message. The code expires after five minutes. Constant Contact’s verification-email help article provides additional guidance.

If you did not initiate the sign-in attempt, change your password and contact Constant Contact support. If you cannot access the account email inbox, contact support for help with recovery.

When to contact Constant Contact support

Contact Constant Contact Product Support if the status page shows no relevant incident, the browser and device checks do not help, or you cannot complete account recovery. Include the exact error message, the feature you were using, and whether the issue occurs in another supported browser or device; these details can help support route the problem. You can also search the Knowledge Base for the specific error or task.
