The Splatoon 3 Golden Egg Feast 2026 is a two-hour Salmon Run tournament on Nintendo Switch, scheduled for November 7, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to noon Pacific Time. Register through Tournament Manager in SplatNet 3, inside the Nintendo Switch App, between October 26 and 9:30 a.m. PT on event day. You can enter as a solo player or in a pair, trio or four-player team. Thirty winners will receive physical Splatoon-themed prizes, with a combined approximate retail value of $8,990.
When is the Splatoon 3 Golden Egg Feast 2026 tournament?
The tournament runs on Saturday, November 7, 2026, 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. PT. Registration opens at 9:00 a.m. PT on October 26 and closes at 9:30 a.m. PT on November 7, 30 minutes before play begins.

Nintendo says the event is a Salmon Run competition. The stage, supplied weapons and King Salmonid will appear in Tournament Manager within one week of the tournament, so competitors should check the listing before the event rather than assume a particular map or loadout.

Registration is handled in Tournament Manager through SplatNet 3 in the Nintendo Switch App. Use the Nintendo Account associated with your country of residence, and enter only once for your region.

A division choice determines your entry group. All four divisions use the same Salmon Run scoring framework, but rankings are handled separately.
Which division should I enter?
Choose based on the players you can reliably coordinate with during the event. A larger roster can distribute callouts and revive duties, while a solo entry avoids teammate scheduling and communication problems.

Because each division is ranked independently, entering a larger group does not place you on the same leaderboard as solo players.

What are the Salmon Run scoring rules?
The “Top Score” format combines two results: the most Golden Eggs collected across four shifts and the most scale points earned in one shift. Only cleared shifts count toward the competition.
How defeats affect a score
A failed shift subtracts points according to the wave in which the defeat occurs:
- Wave 1 defeat: minus 30 points.
- Wave 2 defeat: minus 10 points.
- Wave 3 defeat: minus 5 points.
That penalty makes survival important even when a team has already collected a strong number of eggs. Plan for reliable clears instead of chasing risky pickups that could end a shift early.

How ties are decided
If entries finish tied, Nintendo applies these tie-breakers in order:
- Most Golden Eggs.
- Most Power Eggs.
- Overall speed.
- Entry number.
Who is eligible, and what do I need to play?
Eligible entrants must be legal residents of the 50 United States, including Washington, D.C., Canada or Mexico, and must be physically located in an eligible territory while playing. The minimum age is 13 in the United States and Canada and 18 in Mexico. The Nintendo Account used for entry must match the entrant’s country of residence.
You need:
- A Nintendo Switch system.
- Splatoon 3 for Nintendo Switch.
- A Nintendo Account.
- Reliable high-speed internet.
- A Nintendo Switch Online membership, including an eligible trial membership.
Nintendo lists the regular price of Splatoon 3 at $59.99 in its U.S. announcement. The official rules state that no purchase is necessary to enter or win and that a purchase does not improve the odds of winning.
What prizes can I win?
There are 30 winners across three prize tiers. The values below are Nintendo’s 2026 approximate retail values (ARV) per prize package.

How are winners contacted?
Potential winners are emailed within 10 days after the tournament. A selected entrant has two days to respond and complete any eligibility and release requirements. Missing the deadline or failing those requirements can forfeit the prize, allowing Nintendo to select another potential winner.

The official rules also allow recording, streaming, photography and promotional use of participation content. Event dates, times, locations and prizes may change without notice under those rules, so check the Tournament Manager listing and the final rules before competing.

Can I enter if I do not buy the game specifically for this event?
Yes. The official rules say no purchase is necessary to enter or win, and buying anything does not increase your odds. You still need access to a Nintendo Switch, the game, an eligible Nintendo Account, internet service and Nintendo Switch Online access.
Will my tournament gameplay be recorded or shared publicly?
The rules permit Nintendo to record, stream and photograph the event and to use participation content for promotional purposes. Avoid displaying private information during play or streams, and review the release language before entering.

Nintendo expects the 50-point participant reward to appear on the My Nintendo Missions page around November 14, 2026 Pacific Time. Availability is described for eligible participants from North and South America, while the contest rules specifically identify the United States, Canada and Mexico.
What happens if a selected winner does not answer the email?
The selected entrant has a two-day response window. If there is no response, or if eligibility and release requirements are not satisfied, the prize can be forfeited and reassigned.
