Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Brenen Thompson is ruled out for the team’s Week 4 game against the Seattle Seahawks. The Chargers listed a quadriceps injury and recorded him as a nonparticipant in practice Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Why Brenen Thompson is out
The NFL’s Week 4 injury report lists Thompson with a quadriceps injury and an Out designation. The Chargers’ daily report shows he did not participate in practice on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday before the team ruled him out on October 2, 2026.
The designation applies to the Week 4 matchup with Seattle, scheduled for Sunday at Lumen Field with a 1:25 p.m. PT kickoff. It does not establish when Thompson might return, how the injury happened or its longer-term severity. NFL.com’s Week 4 status roundup also lists him as out with a quad injury.
Other Chargers ruled out against Seattle
