Catchnex advertises a copy-trader competition running from September 1 through December 24, 2026, with awards of $1 million, $500,000 and $250,000 for the top three eligible traders by verified competition-period ROI. The advertised $1.75 million pool is indicative: Catchnex says prizes are awarded after verification and that the amount is not held, guaranteed or escrowed.
What the Catchnex competition offers
The official Catchnex Copy Competition page lists a single competition period from September 1, 2026, through December 24, 2026, at 23:59 UTC. Its advertised awards are:
| Place | Advertised award |
|---|---|
| First | $1,000,000 |
| Second | $500,000 |
| Third | $250,000 |
These are organizer-published figures, not independently verified funds set aside for payment. Catchnex describes the total as an indicative pool and says it is neither held nor guaranteed or escrowed. It says awards follow verification of the results.
How ranking and verification work
ROI determines placement
Catchnex says eligible participants are ranked by ROI earned during the competition period. The leaderboard is scheduled to refresh daily at 00:05 UTC, but the displayed standings are provisional and nonbinding; they are not a final result or confirmation of a prize.

Drawdown is a tie-breaker
The competition page says maximum drawdown is measured for each participant and published alongside ROI. Catchnex uses it as the first tie-break. The published summary therefore makes ROI the primary ranking measure and drawdown the first tie-break, not an equal second ranking metric.
Results are checked before awards
Catchnex says it checks results against platform records and requires identity verification for winners. Its public summary does not establish the exact ROI formula, how open positions at the closing time are treated, or the payment timetable. Consult the official rules for those operating details rather than inferring them from a leaderboard or headline.

The page calls the entry action “Apply as a Copy Trader,” but the summary does not establish every application or account setup step. Follow the current instructions on Catchnex’s official page rather than relying on third-party descriptions.
