The Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse demo covers the game’s opening chapter, and Konami supports transferring demo progress to the full game. Konami has not published a completion-time estimate; player reports suggest a short demo, but your time will depend on exploration and retries.
How long is the Belmont’s Curse demo?
Konami does not state an official play-time estimate on its demo page or the US PlayStation Store listing. An unofficial fan guide gives an early-player estimate of roughly 15–30 minutes, and one Reddit player described taking about 30 minutes at a leisurely pace. Treat these as anecdotes, not a promised duration or an average: exploration, familiarity, and retries can all affect a run.
Does demo progress carry over to the full game?
Yes. Konami says demo save data can transfer to the full version, provided you meet all of these conditions:
- Play the demo and full game on the same platform.
- Use the same account in both versions.
- Keep the demo save data; it must still exist for the transfer.
- Update the full game to its latest version before transferring.
Konami does not specify whether a deleted save can be recovered or whether progress can move between platforms. Do not assume that cloud recovery or cross-platform transfer is supported.

Konami describes the demo as featuring the opening chapter and warns that some features or content may be restricted. The official information reviewed does not identify a more precise stopping point or list every restriction. The PS5 store listing similarly describes it as a chance to experience the beginning of the game.
Where is the demo available?
